So am I understanding correctly that we have 19 weeks to "spend", each "point" needed to complete an item is a week, and we're planning out the whole semester?

This should full complete each item on this list if that is the case.
You're spending 23 points, four too many, if we only have 19.

-[X] Glyphcraft (0/3)- Interlude: All These Circles Make A Wizard, All These Circles Make A Wizard, All These Circles Make A Wizard-

@Prok For the plans, I'm confused if this is Vote-By-Week, Vote-By-Month, or Vote-by-Simester. I see there are listed (Academia, Friends, Research, Grimm, Miscellaneous); are we assigning 19 points per area, combined, or something different?

Incredibly happy to see this update! Not sure if votes are allowed yet, so let me just build this idea first.

[]Plan: Addressing Trauma, the Unknown, and Social Settings
-[] Grimm Studies (0/3)- Interlude: Professor Peter Port's Problems In Port
-[] Dust Alchemy (0/3)- Interlude: Falling Off Your Bike For The First Time
-[] Semblance Counselling (0/1)- Interlude: Explain It Like They're Five
-[] On The Souls Of Grimm (1/3)- Interlude: The Cost Of A Scientist (Current [???: 3/10)
-[] The Golem (1/3)- Interlude: The Cost Of An Outsider (Current [???: X)
-[] Team RWBY (0/6)
-[] Yang Xiao Long (0/3)- Interlude: Funk Soul Sister
-[] Weiss Schnee (0/3)- Interlude: Heiress Of Everest Square

I am unsure as to how many points we have to spend, though I assume that it is 19, with one point spent on one thing per week. This should full complete each item on this list if that is the case.
I'm seeing a little confusion, so I'll clarify; yes, you have 19 weeks to spend between August and February, nominally 20, but you just spent a week going through class, after which we move into the major event that occurs after winter, then you have from February until the end of June, another 20 weeks. Then the summer months are 8 lazy weeks to go back home and do stuff you otherwise wouldn't be able to at Beacon, like spend time with your family, or, rob a liquor store, I dunno what you little psychopaths want to do, and dealing with whatever happens over the summer- the point is, over the course of the year, you'll have, you know, 52, occasionally 56, weeks to work through stuff. That's, what, 17, 18 things you can get done in a year, over the course of, several years!

You've got time, is my point.

Your plan adds up to 23 weeks, unfortunately; 3+3+1+2+2+6+3+3 = 23... unless you were using the Team option to fill out Yang and Weiss beforehand. Y'know, like some kind of smart person would.

Yes, this plan is fine. I woke up less than an hour ago, shush.

Yeesh with the pneumonia Prok. Glad you're mostly feeling better, and hoping this year is less dramatic for you.

Looks like the sentence cuts off here.
Fixed, and thank you!
Interesting that the UPPER floors are the older ones
Stone's a bitch to wire up, man. It's just easier and, more importantly, cheaper to leave it for storage, secret meeting rooms, reading rooms full of old books of prophecy, which just keep popping up no matter how often Ozpin has the janitors make sure they're sealed off, and the occasional odd duck like Moira who wants somewhere a little different for classes. The only reason Goodwitch doesn't teach Glyphcraft up there for the sheer atmosphere of it all is that she just... genuinely can't be arsed walking up all those stairs in heels.

If I'm understanding this right, the current vote is for the 19 weeks before Candlemas, which will be followed by some number of more weeks before the summer holidays which is when the mandatory things are due?
19 weeks including Candlemas- this includes your Winter Break, over which one of the necessary interludes will be occurring. And yes, you have a full year to fill out all of your mandatory classes.

I don't think we need to micromanage it like that unless directly told so. Hopefully, because this sounds frustrating to deal with if so.

EDIT: Shit sorry, its literally written right there. Still, eh.
I don't think you understand- there are twenty people in Beacon for you to yak at. 20. Two zero.

I have neither the time nor the energy to come up with 20 fresh interludes, nor do you have the time constraints to see them all. This way, I have less work, and you have less choice paralysis.

How many weeks are there in summer holidays? Same as IRL (8?)
Yes, 8 weeks, during which you'll be punted back home to have time to spend with your family, among other stuff. Since you have, like, all the free time during the summer holidays, I'll probably functionally extend it to 16 weeks, though.

[X] Exploring Essentials

Sucks about the sicknesses, but hey, at least they will calm down before spring hits... Then allergy season starts.
Hahaaaaaaaaa fucking kill me-

You're spending 23 points, four too many, if we only have 19.
Nono, it's kosher, he's using the Team RWBY option to get 4 free weeks out of both Yang and Weiss.

Y'know.

Like a smart person.

[X]Plan: Addressing Trauma, the Unknown, and Social Settings

Completely missed the part where the books have to be done by winter semester, so there is that.

[] History (0/3)- Interlude: A Lesson In Learning From The Past, Also Known As: CREME PUT DOWN THE BENCH DOVE ISN'T WORTH IT-
I'm very tempted by this option, but we already have a locked in interlude for Civics with Cardin so I'm alright giving it a miss here.
I'm seeing a little confusion, so I'll clarify; yes, you have 19 weeks to spend between August and February, nominally 20, but you just spent a week going through class, after which we move into the major event that occurs after winter, then you have from February until the end of June, another 20 weeks.
MANDATORY:
[] Combat Instruction (0/3)- Interlude: Watching A Lark Peck A Lord
[] Weapon Upkeep (0/3)- Interlude: The Memories In Metal
[] Grimm Studies (0/3)- Interlude: Professor Peter Port's Problems In Port
[] Dust Alchemy (0/3)- Interlude: Falling Off Your Bike For The First Time
[] History (0/3)- Interlude: A Lesson In Learning From The Past, Also Known As: CREME PUT DOWN THE BENCH DOVE ISN'T WORTH IT-
So we have to spend 15 AP on these spread over these 19 weeks and the 20 weeks after winter break. Sounds doable.
[] Creme Daylaw (0/3)- Interlude: On The Creation Of Halfbreeds
Lewd.

The Transistor joins you, pressing the tip of its hilt against the edge nearest the lock and quickly outpacing you in the force department.

SOLID MATHS STRONK!

{Counterpoint: You're also the only person who almost won against an Aura lock with pure brute strength.}

... Every cloud has a silver lining.

[X] Exploring Other Things Too

I SCREAM FOR WEISS SCHNEE!

I was mostly referring to the difficulty of renovating while also maintaining enough structural integrity to keep the multiple stories of stone above you from collapsing. It's certainly doable, just a little hair-raising.

Then again, I suspect neither of us can really properly take into account the literally supernatural part of the workmen's toolkit and all of the fiddly little tricks engineers would have come up with for Dust based tools. And that's before you start considering things like "hey Glynda, can we have you telekinetically hold the floor of this room together while somebody else punches or melts through this single rock in it and we stick in this replacement with a hole for wiring? It would save us like ... 5 months of work"

[X]Plan: Addressing Trauma, the Unknown, and Social Settings
The efficient use of the Team RWBY social appeals to me, plus it has the other stuff I would want.

[] Exploring Essentials has been modified so now we get the Lumen and Creme interludes as well, since questers seems interested in socials this turn. It's a bargain action wise and furthers bringing of the team together.

So what about the Vytal Festival or dealing with Villains/Criminals/White Fang skulking about? Will those take up Actions or do they happen as special events?

I don't have time to come up with a plan right now, but I'd like to say, I'm glad you're back again, Prok, and I hope you feel better now!

Did you never vote for your own plan?

22 actually, the optional classes can be done over summer, but who wants to go to classes in summer.
Glynda's optional class I can see us doing next semester, but honestly I think Touching Ourself could be a neat one to do at home over break. It'd be interesting to get our family's perspective on it.
Edit: or if we're stuck in Beacon then doing it with friends? I suppose it's pretty personal so other inputs might not actually help.

All the mandatory classes together is 15, plus the optional classes (7) and the two books (4) equals 26 weeks.

19 weeks + 20 weeks is 39 total, spending 26 of which leaves us with 13 left over for everything else.

Our own team takes up somewhere between 6 and 9, depending on if we just pick the team option, or go for the individual ones as well.

This leaves us between 4 and 7 weeks left over for other things.

In my plan-
[X] Exploring Other Things Too
-[X] Dust Alchemy (0/3)- Interlude: Falling Off Your Bike For The First Time
-[X] Glyphcraft (0/3)- Interlude: All These Circles Make A Wizard, All These Circles Make A Wizard, All These Circles Make A Wizard-
-[X] Team JACL (0/6)- Interlude: Painting The Town Jackal
-[X] On The Souls Of Grimm (1/3)- Interlude: The Cost Of A Scientist (Current [???: 3/10)
-[X] The Golem (1/3)- Interlude: The Cost Of An Outsider (Current [???: X)
-[X] Weiss Schnee (0/3)- Interlude: Heiress Of Everest Square
-[X] Common Grimm (0/3)
--[X] Alpha Grimm
--[X] Ursa
-since I'd really like to do Weiss' interlude, I only have us down for the 6 week Team option this turn, since "Heiress Of Everest Square" sounds much more likely to be specific to this season than "Test Drive With The Lads" or "On the Creation of Halfbreeds".

The idea is that next turn we pick up the remaining classes and whatever JACL team options are still available.

"My name is Professor Edward Teach, you will call me Professor Edward if you have to call me anything, and I am the arsehole that will be teaching you this year. Welcome to Dust Alchemy 101, and here's the first, very most important, rule of this class."

He pulses his Aura, and cloudy ice forms on the board, forming his name, 'Dust Alchemy 101,' and that first rule below.

You made Blackbeard the Dust Alchemy teacher.

That makes more sense than I thought it would.
