Do trees count as lances?
I know mankind fought over a ladder and bucket, almost went to war over a pig, and that australia lost a war to EMUS..... but I don't believe trees were used as weapons in mundane affairs or wars except by lazy giants in fairytales

You can argue that the first lances were just made of wood.
Ergo trees are just big lances.
Hell, there's that Pando tree where an entire forest is composed of just one tree, so you could use an entire forest as a lance.

And possible point though I'd clarify there's a difference between a spear of wood and lance
One has pointy metal blade on the end while the other us an oversized toothpick
And honestly I'd think angela would count as avenger and mooncancer due to her rebellion and usurpation of ayin far more than caster unless post ruina
I'd imagine she'd make for a good ruler though
Mayhaps even find an unusual friendship in BB and the alter egos

Class Lancer, is one of the Three Knight Classes among the seven standard Servant classes summoned for the Holy Grail War. Servants placed within this class, many of which are Heroic Spirits who were knights, are very agile, display excellent close combat skills, show proficiency in hit-and-run tactics that capitalize on range and speed, and are skilled with long-range melee weapons such as spears and lances. The qualifying conditions to be placed within the class are second only to the Saber class, requiring overall excellent attributes and a high agility attribute. Their only particular class ability is Magic Resistance, and although they "tend to be less flashy than the other classes", they display great reliability.

it will know justice as a concept, but it won't use the concept to become better. it will use the concept to pretend better, to mimic humanity better.
After all, NT doesn't care about loss of life or what people think is right and wrong . It is purely self interested, To become human, no matter what kind of human, just more human.
lancers use the lance or other kinds of things close to a lance, as long as it is in the shape of a long stick, you might get qualified as an lancer.
Of course, you will need to have history about your using those kind of weaponry or else you can't be a lancer, People need to know that you used it and you know how to use it.
The other qualification is bad luck. But That is mostly a fandom meme because lancer always dies horribly in the main fate storyline.

Usually I'd say no, but as this is Fate...
Specifically Quirinus already uses a metaphorical Tree of civilization as a Lancer spear.
There's an old meme that Lancer always dies in FSN, no matter what route you take

She has a wish, that automatically disqualify her from being a Ruler, their entire point is that they don't have wishes.
Abnormalities have a concept of death, so, shiki can, though I think shiki can't, and [ ] definitely can, and might even be able to make them stay dead.
(In order: the shiki from kara no kyoukai, the one from tsukihime, who is weaker, and the true original *personality* from the shiki of Kara no Kyoukai, who has access to the root and can act as if they were God, they just don't act because they're the void.)

I think I can kinda see X as a Beast, if only because them representing the Sin of Revolution would be a wonderful thing. I agree that Carmen resembles the concept more closely, but on the other hand the Daughter of the Sun and Moon looks monstrous yet breath-taking enough to inspire the same feelings as Beasts do.
Perhaps the same deal as Beast III? Different sides to the same concept? X, Angela, Carmen and Ayin dividing a slot into four. Oh well, just woolgathering honestly.
