I wonder if the Sephirah are going to get to meet X and experience the bundle of issues that she is now.

Tiphereth (probably OOC, but still): So this is why people say to never meet your idols, huh

[X] "Uh, Angela? I think they're awake. Just a hunch."

Based on what little I know of them, I'd rather talk to Roland first. And if it's only one, I'd still rather talk to Roland.

I'm glad they kept the Soul Gems with us, but I do wonder what they think they are, if they think they're important at all. Hmm, since maybe they made X a new body, think they'd give us some for these kids? I'm sure X can help them slip into the new ones.

"If you left, why does everything feel the same?"

Mmm. X, do you think that might partly be the massive trauma you have? Maybe just a bit? I think it might be trauma.

Tbh, the frame of mind that X gets in when full DoSaM seems very similar to how Homura/Homulily acted and thought when in a state of extremely fucked up and prolonged witchification. X ignoring her own PTSD in favor of worrying about the kids comes across as in character. Whether we take ourselves into account as voters or not, X has been placed into a situation that replicates a life that was Not Great For People. Right after leaving it. The concept of re-traumatization isn't an unknown and I'd say this counts.

It also has some parallels to Homura. Complete with stasis-containment barriers! Thanks, I love-hate it!
I can't believe I'm saying this, but I think Ayin would be in a better state of mind than X in this situation. Since, for him, the facility was not the meaningless hell X takes it for. Which is morbidly funny, considering this is Ayin, the guy who's too fucked up and traumatized to look at sunlight.

[X] "Uh, Angela? I think they're awake. Just a hunch."
~Forever gone, from the hell that served as my one and only home!...~

Jokes aside, can someone explain to me what actually happened in this chapter? Is going to the Library the result of X's resistance to homu's magic?

Hm, would talking to Angela first end up wasting time on (expected, but still) D R A M A?

Or can we just ignore Angela the entire time and talk only to Roland?
It probably doesn't matters much.

Though it would be funny to play in on the "Angela is definitely the grunt of the family" for real.

X died. But not really since shes immortal. I don't really get what happened either.

Lepidoptera, for real though, do you mind elaborating on what *exactly* we are voting on here? The context around this vote isn't very clear, and it's hard to actually argue properly because of that.

Or is this one of those legendary fluff votes?

Really simple.

Someone is on the other side of that GODDAMN doooorrr~ and we are voting on who it is. (Like Father like Daughter I guess)

They probably repaired our body for us, given how X lamented that she didn't have the energy to do so.

Oh, and I suspect we'll be leaving Kyoko with Aunt Angela for some time. Not to worry, even if she distorts on the spot, the Librarians are peddlers of the highest-grade cheese in the City, they can probably handle it.

[X] "Oh. I will admit, I was expecting that to take longer."

Roland would be a nice intermediary, but I feel like this conversation has to be had.
