I think this is better left until we finish the Dragon's Nest. It becomes relevant then, when we have a seat of power to expand from. Then we could and should buy Mercy in Servitude and Transcendent Lord of Flies, which, with Demonic Primacy of Essence, would let us recruit everyone in the Underground (because Transcendent Lord of Flies works on making others follow you as long as your intent is to protect them from the environment of urban desolation they live in).

NPCs have agency.
They will probe, they will approach, they might attack.
We arent going to be doing renovation work for two months plus without having multiple random encounters.

That's true. Which is why I am buying Demonic Primacy of Essence, Etiquette 3 and Boiling Sea Mastery. I am planning to make the "Trigger CCC at will" wearable anklet too. What I am not buying now are Mercy In Servitude, which is for those who already our minions, and Transcendent Lord of Flies, which is for recruiting people to follow us in places of desolation (hmm... I wonder - does Harry's mental scape count as a place of desolation for the purpose of helping Harry against Lash, or helping Lash? Or is he too sane? Or does mental landscape not count?). I feel that at -3 to -6 difficulty and with excellencies, we should be able to deal with NPC encounters.

Such an anklet would only work if it truly does do imprisonment.
It only works if the situation is predictable and under control.
Any deviations will mess such cheesing up.

Boiling Sea Mastery is a must for me. Exalted dice pools, make even a -1 DC super powerful. Even on a weak 10 dice pool that on avarage quite a swing.

Just out of curiosity @DragonParadox , would this charm have any interesting interactions with the outer gates?
The battlefield at the gates being one continuous fight since the dawn of the age (or whenever the outsiders showed up) sounds like a significant place for something fueled by violence.

Exorcism is useless without friends (meaning: Exalted friends) to pin somebody in place for an hour without killing them. There's potential regarding Lash shenanigans, but I suspect it's too soon outright and I'm darn sure and certain it's not more time-critical than "not starring in Mab's next instant loss doujin", "not getting claim-jumped on the dragon's nest", and/or "not dying".

We DO have the ability to make cyberdevils still. What does buying them as allies get us? And have you asked DP about it?
Yes that vote is fine if you want hacker cyberdevils
Technically we could try taking the coin physically and then breaking the connection they can use to eventually summon it back with exorcism, but that's barely any easier to arrange than holding them down in the first place.
It allows them to hack systems that they arent inside, and computers/cellphones/camera networks we cant reach with HMP.
And yes, Word of QM is that we need to buy 2 dots/6XP to enable it at a minimum.
More dots is better, but 2 dots is minimum.
If you want to keep track of the Daedalus people and their plans, you need this.
If you want to check a person's criminal record, you need this.
If you want to vanish someone's computer records, you need this.
Lots of applications for the ability to hack computer systems in modern society.
