I'll throw in for this one, though its close. I kind of want to go in for Uju32's plan but... I know how these things tend to go in Dresden. When things start looking good we are going to get shanked in the kidneys. I'd like that to be the last mistake the enemy ever makes.
You cant armor against a flamethrower. Or a chaingun. Or a Holy spell from someone like Gard, who is presumably a cleric/warlock with Odin as a patron in his aspect as king of the Norse Pantheon. You need resiliency and information to avoid getting hit.
VLE is good to have, but I dont think its the most important thing right now.

Molly is currently tough enough to walk off getting magdumped by an assault rifle at point blank range.
CSR allows her to heal in an hour.
Thats pretty good right now.

Golly, predictably the combat optimizers are not yet satisfied despite Molly breezing through the fights so far while half trying - before she got her shield and dropped parry rolls to hilariously easy. And of course narratively optimizing further means the QM must navigate Michael hanging with Invincible Sword Princess. You know, sending enemies that will challenge her.

I'm sure that'll go well.

Shockingly, trying to blackmail a wish granting genie tends to work out better for the genie than you'd think. Especially when half the people likely to trouble us would be Fae and required to repay debts. Especially when the genie's dad is a Knight of the Cross. Especially when Molly has limited intellectus to ask 'how can I fuck them over with their wish'? I kinda hope our enemies are that stupid, because if we needed to deal with them eventually starting on that plot is hilarious.

Being able to do DAMN NEAR ANYTHING is worth 20 points, or worth more than two other charms and a skill or whatever. It's that good, and it works well narratively and will let us start a lot of interesting plotlines like acquiring minions such as the Wyldfae or helping people otherwise unhelpable people like Marcone.

Don't overthink it. Yes, it's worth 20 points, and stalls further combat optimization, but is ABSOLUTELY worth it. It is the single best Infernal charm from a narrative standpoint, and the problems it causes are problems worth having.

You mean Dresden Files, where Mavra blackmailed Dresden into delivering the Word of Kemmler to her less than a year ago.
Where Mab has blackmailed Dresden into working for her not once but twice.
Where Nicodemus first pissed Mab off, then made her send his mortal enemy Dresden to help him break into Hades Vault.

Your description of the setting doesnt really bear much resemblance to its reality.
I assume enemies will actually be smart and not just dumb for the sake of plot. We should hope Nicodemus is dumb enough to take a wish. Molly can then just say cast down your coin and tell the knight everything you know about the coins. Either he losses the coin willing, or he is now dead and in the hell's also san coin do to the whole dead thing.
 
I'm unsure of the logistics of using Charred Sinner Renewal at the moment, because of our housing situation and family, but it seems too good to pass up, IMO. Bleach isn't the only toxic chemical we can acquire that should work, though it's probably the easiest to get our hands on. A big plastic drum of the stuff kept in the storage shed should be good enough if we're concerned about fumes in the house.

I'm in favor of Viridian Legend Exoskeleton sooner rather than later because I want us to be ready when someone comes after us with heavier firepower than the Nazis were packing or serious combat magic. There's a war going on in the supernatural world and we're bound to get drawn further into that whether we like it or not, so this just seems like a prudent investment to take care of now.

I'll be much less concerned about survivability if we can secure this Charm, and it will make it a lot easier to vote for more utility options in the future.

Of the 5 dot charms on the list, it comes behind The King and The Kingdom(inner pocket dimension with population), Constructive Convergence of Principles(magic crafting), Ego Infused Pattern Primacy (shaping defense, 24 hr healing charm) and Splintered Gale Incarnation(Extra lives charm in case they actually kill you).

VED is good. Its not that good.

Not that I dislike your plan uju this is just the plan I like the second most and I want any plan I vote for to have an edge on other plans. It also meshes well with my simple brain who wants simple things. also the issue that dragonparadox could wake up and tell us they made a mistake and it does in fact cost 8 exp not 4.
 
VED sounds great and we've come up with tons of uses for it in the thread already, but there are so many more important options to take first. From what little I understand of the system, getting Essence 2 seems to be the single greatest priority right now. Any plan that doesn't include that just isn't worth consideration right now, IMO.

VED is good. Its not that good.
King in the Kingdom is the lowest priority, it really just an XP sink. CCP is useless without a node to power rapid crafting, EIPP is not that great in Dresden files, only maybe outsiders have shaping attacks, and SGI is not really that good with Molly statline.

VED is easily the most useful and most powerful, and the single best minnion gathering and empowering charm we can get.
 
before we get the wish maker thing I want to actually find, meet, and know the beings who we would be granting wishes and actually learn about supernatural beings as we don't know shit and so would not empower beings we know nothing about. There's playing a teenager then there is playing an idiot.

Any enemy that is smart enough to be a threat, is to smart enough to not make a wish. I assume Nicodemus is one of them, and not an fallen that is Anduriel. And no they explicitly can't stop us ripping the hold over their hosts, we are Exalted Galaxy busting is not nearly strong enough to stop an exalted. The White God sure the Angles no. As for the noose, so what Nicodemus if he refuses dies instantly do not pass go, do not take your coin, or you noose with you, go straight to hell game over.
 
Its not about vulnerability, its about values.
The sort of values that churches, mosques and other religious organizations are supposed to inculcate into attendees?
Kinda antithetical to any White Court patriarch that is hoping for his scion to fledge.

That would really only be a problem for the Raiths. There are clans that feed by pissing people off, or making them afraid, or any number of things really.

I'm not convinced that DragonParadox is capable of sleep. I mean, I have the weirdest sleep patterns of anyone I know due to my employer deciding my hours by rolling dice or breaking out a ouija board and sacrificing chickens with an obsidian dagger to contact corporate headquarters or something. I have lunch at two in the morning ad Dragon is posting. Or at two in the afternoon. Or anywhere else on the clock.

This seems to be the one mostly safe period and I'm still thinking that they are more likely to be clinging to the gargoyle eagles on the Chrysler Building, eating pigeons, than seeing the inside of their eyelids. Assuming they have eyelids, which I'm also not entirely sold on.

1)The literal bolthole where we can run away to under pressure to hide and recharge our shintai.
Where we can stash a spare clone to resurrect us the event of our death. Where we have plot justification to recruit bakemono.

2)You can build lower level magical artifacts without a node.
You dont need a Dragons Nest until you're building a Rating 3 artifact or higher IIRC.

3)Okay, no, you are wrong.
Ego Infused Personal Primacy allows you to heal all bashing damage in 15 minutes, and to heal Lethal or Agg at a rate of 1/hour. All for the cost of just 1 Essence in 24 hours. Thats a pretty big deal as just a side effect thrown in there.

Then there's the Shaping defense.

I mean, you were literally talking about Nicodemus upthread. Have you forgotten the Barabbas Curse is a thing? Wizard death curses are also Shaping. Mab making you stab your own hand against your will because you owe her a debt? Shaping. Even basic sympathetic magic once they get ahold of your hair or blood is shaping; ask the Loup Garou how Dresden bound and blinded him.

4)Splintered Gale Incarnation is not good with Molly's statline how?
What does statlines have to do with the ability to reincarnate into your clone if Queen Mab smites you to death?
Or Ferrovax takes offense with your existence and kills you? Or Nicodemus kills you?
