IIRC that should be 2 Wounds, we did not get ambushed quite that badly due to essence flare.
This reads very weird."I don't think mom would know how to use his tools or want to be in the same room as them."
It should probably read "this tools"?
Sounds good.Okay, then I really advocate for leatherwork.
It's much better for fashion than blacksmithing, we don't want heavy armor anyway, so it's just as good for armor.
And it's much better for our style.
Also two of the other relevant fields are close-enough to take only one die of penalty.
True, but it's still related to blacksmithing, so only 1 dice less.I guess leather is fine, we probably want to make a shield too, though. Which I don't think should be leather unless we use some kind of supernatural leather for it.
If this works, then I'll vote for it. I don't know much about this. Are these fabrics and meshes also useful against knives, swords, probably claws? If we're aiming to make light, concealable underarmor, we would be using the kevlar and ballistic mesh available, and that's much more of a Tailoring skill than Blacksmithing, and the same goes for Leatherworking.
There are modern synthetic fabrics and materials we can use for clothing or armor which are far superior to any leather we can both source and reasonably use, and those same materials are generally better than archaic armor made from steel. it won't take any great skill to form reinforced steel inserts that can be added to protect vital areas of our cloth underarmor.
There are far more general fashion-related uses for it, too.
[X] Tailoring/Dressmaking
This made me laugh DPApparently repetitive and unfulfilling work to standards you do not care about is one of the things that service in hell immunizes one to.
True, but it's still related to blacksmithing, so only 1 dice less.
Kevlar? Yes.If this works, then I'll vote for it. I don't know much about this. Are these fabrics and meshes also useful against knives, swords, probably claws?
I think the Wicked City actually canonically weaponized the ideal form of monotone and soul-crushing modern work.
