Green Flame Rising (Exalted vs Dresden Files)

It is one of the main sources of K6BD, yes. That and Morrowind's "Reach Heaven through Violence.". That line was spoken by Vivec to Indoril Nerevar when he asks Vivec how could he reach the moon when he's but an elf.

Morrowing was an acid trip, suffice to say.

Also, in Exalted vs World of Darkness, the first quote for the Dragon-Blooded:
"The law of kings is the law of the sword! The lord of the world cannot rule! He cannot grasp anything but a hilt! He must subsume and become violence itself! All else is frivolity!"

Wow, that's certainly a fascinating circle.

K6BD was inspired by Exalted and a late Exalted fanwork cites K6BD...
The wheel turns, until you break it.

[X] Plan: Loud Commanding Imperative
-[X] "Harry Dresden, I will explain to you what has happened in due time. But now we must get out of here before the Queen of this place could stake our heads in front of her Palace." Run towards your unconscious mother and lift her up on your shoulder. "If you have any ways for us to get out of here, now would be the best time to say it."
-[X] Spend one Essence to use Key to the Kingdom: Leadership.
-[X] If Harry has the means to get out of here, follow him and make sure to break the knees of any Faes that want to stop us from escaping this dread fortress.
-[X] If Harry doesn't have an escape plan, spend another 1 Essence and ask the Crown of Eyes for the direction of any "Paths" that will bring us to the real world the fastest whilst also being safe at the same time.
-[X] Book it as fast as we can to said Path.

There, a vote by me. If you guys want to modify it even further, I would be happy to see it.

Edit: Alright, changed so that we won't utter Harry's full name. Only his formal name.

I have a feeling using someone's full name like that in this setting after visibly conjuring GSNF and sword-fighting the Eldest Fetch would roll intimidate.

Are we sure about this?

I was using his full-name in order to convey how dire the situation is. That, and it's a good dramatic moment that is just too good to pass.

Should I take it off, then? And just use Harry Copperfield Dresden or Harry Dresden?

You guys do not know Harry's full name, it never came up in conversations with Michael much less Molly . You could of course use an Essence and your one Dresden question to find it, but I do not think that is worth it.

I don't dislike it. Though I do think it may make him think we became different or are possessed more if we aren't used to calling him formally.

On the other hand if he believes its us, it may notify him that we are in serious danger still.

just harry maybe ,he isn't an idiot pretty sure he can figure out the situation ,without making it sound like somethings possessing molly and speaking through her ,I understand that you wanted to go for the "full-name-to-show-how-serious-they-are-thing" that parents do ,but the vibe is more all-knowing-ancient-entity-possessing-the-girl-he-came-to-save.....maybe little less formal ?

Honestly, the only reason I made it as terse as it is, is because I have no idea how Molly is supposed to speak. That, and I think that calling someone with a forceful command whilst displaying a level of newly attained strength (able to lift up to 200 lbs of weight no problem) is a good foundation to a Stunt.

Hmm, I can do less-formal. Just hold on a second, whilst I degrade the lingo a bit...

Molly is a seventeen year old girl with a crush on the wizard on front of her, specifically because he works with her father on cool 'kill monsters' missions and her mother thinks he is disreputable and she holds a deep suspicion of magic for reasons Molly cannot quite get. The latter played a significant part in her hiding her own budding magic and using it in secret. That would not be so bad if she had not broken the Fourth Law of Magic, driving one of her friends to catatonia in an attempt to stop her using drugs while pregnant. She also drove her boyfriend to paranoid insanity... but he does not feel as guilty over that one since he was the asshole who not only made Rosie pregnant, but was also providing the drugs.

She does not know what a law of magic is in the institutional sense, but the Fetch told her that mortal mind magic always goes bad as a way to torture her.

-[X] "Harry, don't freak out and I promise that I will tell you everything that you want to know. But first, we need to get out of here!" Run towards your unconscious mother and start to wake her up. "If you have any ways for us to escape, now would be the best time to say it."
-[X] Spend one Essence to use Key to the Kingdom: Leadership.
-[X] If your mother is still knocked out cold, carry her on your back.

-[X] If Harry doesn't have an escape plan, spend another 1 Essence and ask the Crown of Eyes thus: "How do I escape the prison the Eldest Fetch brought me to, and return to home the easiest and fastest without jeopardizing the sanctity of my mind."
-[X] Book it as fast as we can to said Path.

There! A mix of desperation and a commanding attitude.

Edit: Also, you can't really see it, but I'm having a kick to being able to write Exalted flowery names.

I have one more...question? Concern?

If we use Crown of Eyes we have to use it on something we see. And its once in forever.

I am not sure if I want to use it on something like "the Ways" or "the Nevernever". Since those have...pretty big things and secrets probably.

The Crown of Eyes allows us an answer to every question we ask in regards to an object, a situation and an individual.

The situation that we want to ask is: "Which Path is the safest and fastest in order to escape this place."

We can still use it on a slew lot of other things.

I see. So we use it on the situation of "we're essentially imprisoned here in Arctis Tor, how to get out"?

This is a cool ability. I've underestimated or misread it...somehow.

Yes, but you can only use it once on any one conceptual thing which you must see as part of a scene. So for instance if you ask: 'That is the fastest safest Way out of Arctis Tor?' you have burned out your questions for Arctis Tor
So if for example the scene was about a new exoplanet that orbits alpha centauri we could ask how fast it was moving but not how fast an exoplanet orbiting a different star was moving?

The ideal situation is that Harry knows a way out of this place whilst not having the Path overcrowded with Fae Guards.

Also, @DragonParadox it is said in Vampires 20th Anniversary that a Vampire with 4 dots in Strength can lift up to 400 lbs or 200 kgs of weight with no problem. But White Wolf has a severe issue when trying to mathematize feats of strength, movement rates or just plain ol' scale of terrain (G.R.R. Martin anyone?).

So I'll be blunt, what's the maximum capacity of weight that Molly can carry currently? And can we carry our mother? (I'm not asking how heavy she is, good God, I still have tact).

I am going to say you can carry Charity long distance, but if you try to fight while carrying her that is a -2 to your rolls, not so much because of her weight but because a person unwieldy to carry in a fight, especially as you are trying not to get them more hurt. It should be noted though that he gets a roll to wake up next update so you might not need to.
