TRAITS
Cardassian Ship – Durable, uncomfortable, close, cramped and cheap. Thinks creature comforts are for other people and technical sophistication is for people who haven't spent decades starving to death. The fact that the starving could have been avoided if the government were less...you know, monstrous doesn't seem to have occurred to that many of them.

Okampan Crew – the crew are bright, perky, cheerful, and incredibly psychically powerful. Individually, they're all better than Vulcans, and as a gestalt? Who knows!

Let's go Harry! It's time for Brave And Heroic Decisions (tm)!

[X] Scan the area
-[X] Contact Voyager to report the situation. They have better scanners and might pick up something the tricorders can't.

Someone should be alive on the planet. Someone in a mine or underground búnker something.
Agree that jumping in is wrong move but I see young Harry running to check before thinking..

I like the idea of Harry being a bit dopey, but on the other hand Amy and C'nola being trapped in the past on their lonesome sounds just as fun. It wouldn't get as stupid if it were a trio.

Albright! Roll me 4d20! Two for Harry, one for the ship crew and one for the ship! That makes your TNs: 11, 11, 15, 11!

Yeah. The planet was destroyed by catastrophic antimatter breach - the kind that's powerful enough to crack local spacetime a bit. But there was a warp capable ship in orbit - it was right in the way of the main mass of the ejecta.
Well shit, this is us.

Also here goes.

Edit: I think I did too much, should I reroll for just two?
Jack Stargazer threw 4 20-faced dice. Reason: Away Team Doing Stuff Total: 45
16 16 7 7 11 11 11 11

9 9 20 20

Three successes! You all may ask of me questions three!

Edit: four, actually! I forgot your advanced sensors! Those are really paying off!

I fail to understand the system, but I won't complain about good rolls!

[X] Plan Groundhog Day:
-[X] Is there some kind of spatial crack here, and where/when does it lead?
-[X] Can we detect other spatial cracks now that we know about this one?
-[X] If the spatial crack is temporally linked, can we get some more data on that ship that was in orbit? Is it either Voyager or the Val Jean?
-[X] Is the crack one way? Is there a way to make it two way?

Comeon Stargazer don't fail us now.

Edit: Nice rolls! We'll just ignore the extras ;).

This is some great ship art, but I believe we're flying a Sovereign Class, because the admirals assigning ships though it would be amusing to piss off TacCom its advanced sensors were needed to track down a cloaked Keldon-class.

Three successes! You all may ask of me questions three!

In essence:

[x] Plan: Resupply
-[x] Where does the anomaly lead?
-[x] How long will it be open?
-[x] Are there others?
-[x] If we send other things through (supplies, etc), will they go to Amy and C'nola in lockstep with when they entered, or is the output unmoored?

Some questions focused on figuring out if we can send them supplies (or a black box recorder).

Edit: forgot to actually vote 😅

Let's not hang everything on one hypothesis, even a good one.

So, basically, when you take an action, the person doing it does 2d20, but they can get +1d20 for people or spaceships helping, up to a maximum of 5d20, each with the TN set by the person adding it.

Harry, being the most on the ground, active character rolled 2d20, then the crew helping from orbit added a 1d20, and since they were using the sensors, the ship rolls a 1d20 too (which also dragged in advanced sensors for +1 momentum for scanning.)

I am a bit iffy on the plans which kind of assume it is a spatial/temporal phenomena - there is probably a checklist of stuff you want to rule out - but given we did find out their were spatial cracks, I suppose it is one of the first things to rule out, and also we should reach a consensus since there have only been two votes so far.

[X] Plan Groundhog Day

Indeed we are, that my fellow quester is the USS Stargazer NCC-2893 in tribute to our lucky dice rolling volunteer.

This here is what our Jalopy looks kinda like:

Aha, I had completely blanked on the username, I see what you were doing now. 😅

Apparently I'm a Starship formerly captained by Picard. I'll take it.

Just as a note, I'd like slightly more votes before I update!

I need...the votes like elves need trees, dwarves need mining, and halflings need the dankest of weed.
