A mix between Wang builders and Meng geomancers!?

Maybe we can get a very cool result!! An architecture adapted to the environment but without being so elven... A mix between Rivendell and dwarf cities...

Because with the Wang clan we talk about getting builders not geomancers, right?

From the perspective of being a musician this choice is quite clear to me. Getting access to music theory and new pieces to play after losing our flute? That's painful. Getting a new custom made intrument made by one of the greatest instrument builders? Yes please. Only one of these lets us actually soothe our soul by playing on our newly mastercrafted flute.

I would also like to make the argument that the music theory itself isn't going anywhere. It's established, and actively used. Sixth realm craftsmen willing to entertain Ling Qi's wishes on the other hand? Might be a while before an opportunity like that arises again.

Untrue. It has in fact been made very clear here that the Meng do not like sharing the Grandmistress's works. If anything getting the music notes is the thing that's liable to not happen again anytime soon if ever.

I'd be happy with any of these. The notes and writing sound interesting and maybe we'll be able to do more fine tuning on an art so that it fits LQ better. Geomancer for best boy is clearly going to be fun. New flute with a piece of Zeqing in it from Hanyi would also be lovely.

Just reminder, we're not getting her works. We're getting something from a few generations down, a watered down version if you will.

Hmmm a part of me wonders if we shouldn't go for the craftsman if only to open up further ties with non-Cai artisans like Renxiang asked us to be on the lookout for. But a guy who mostly makes instruments might be of limited value. Hmmm for now though, barring any better arguments

These all look amazing!

The notes will be powerful as Ling Clan archive items, and I am hopeful for increasing the potency of our arts suite as we grow.

The flute quest for mats may lead to an enduring talisman if we choose well, and personally "resonant" materials sounds like good narrative fodder.

Geomancy is just a no-brainer. I wonder who else we'll sign up for tutoring with Zhengui...

Why can't we. Just pay for the geomancer opition ? i am sure that we can talk to cai renxiang and makes It a investiment for the fief Zhenghi helping in the fief geomance in the future Will be a boom maybe Zhenghi Will want to pay hinself in the future
