Ya sorry about that, it also so that you guys have time for the Omakes so wil have the Interlude done in about a day or two possibly 3 but that is unlikely.
Debating if I will write a omake or not, feeling pretty drained tbh. I don't know how much effort will go into one if I do write it. Probably not as much as the last three I wrote at the beginning of the quest.

The Improvised Defence of Anfelas - Anfelas Omake
Balric knew battle, knew it in his bones like he knew wood and stone.
What he didn't know was why so much material was being wasted, next to the west wall was the stables,
entire bales of hay left unattended, hay that burn's, and causes smoke to blind one's eyes and scorch ones lives.
Hay bales that could be doused in oil and dropped over the wall, and down the enemy's ladders.
If they scaled the walls with rope and hook, even better, clustering under the wall's to avoid missile would make the smoke even more effective.
The best part was the stable where the hay was stored, a wall had colapsed and a lot of loose stone came free from the mortar.
Balric decided to hurry, his breath frosted as he jogged in the thick fog, there was still time to prepare before the enemy's arrived.
From all over Anfelas, old experienced hand's were returning, Gotri Farsight listened to a report of what structure's needed to stand, what could afford to fall.
A member of the town's militia, a cobblers apprentice was overheard complaining about the cobblers new stone floor,
they had just been about to poor the mortar to seal the cobblestone, when they had been called to arm them selves and report to the civilian fort.
Gotri had a runner sent out to confirm the stones were still loose, if they were, they could be gathered in baskets and poured over the walls.
The local smith had gathered his spare stock of weaponry, and a collection of old tools he meant to reforge.
Included in this were a sizable amount of horse shoes that his apprentices did a horrid job making.
Gotri sent another runner, and soon the militia were gathering old blades, and prying up loose stones, some nosy shepherds saw the dawi prying about the fallen stable wall, and mentioned off offhandedly the town's barley fields stone walls has been falling apart all season. And they had travelled to the town to help their uncle fix them whilst they're herd was breeding.
The fletcher heard word around town and has his son's gather buckets of bronze and iron arrowheads, they were expecting an attack any day now, and the arrows meant for rangers, hunters, and militia up in settlements inland wouldn't make it there if the corsairs took the bloody place.
Gotri had his rangers attaching arrowheads to small sticks they buried shallowly in the ground on the eastern field where the grass needed cut.
Buckets and barrels were prepared on the wall with camp fire's by the militia, boiling water and oil would be on hand to toss over the walls.
Gotri knew battle, knew it in his bones like he knew wood and stone. The Silverbanner would defiantly stand over Anfelas.

I really would prefer it to not have diplomatic trouble with Rosse Lond, it is the smallest of all evils.

Great job. Same with the other fine writers so far.
Currently one of my omakes has been hijacked for the interlude (a common practice), and I've got 2 more in the works, hopefully I'll submit one tonight.
Regarding the interlude it will probably be done tomorrow, though maybe tonight. I'm not too sure, it depends on how Madslayer goes with his plans for the Mountains of Mourn update
I gonna close the Vote in 1 Hour (Mostly because it looks set and I kind of almost done with the Interlude or at least have my outline for it so won't be too long, I think.)

You looked up into the rain as streams of blood poured off your armour, Lady Baherial barking out orders as she tried to shift the plan her husband had come up with, thankfully as you turned away from her it seemed things were going in your favour for once, the umgi ships staying out of range of the outer towers ballista.
Though you would have much preferred they be sunk a moment to breath would give the umgi time to breath, especially after the Harbour, something that bothered you now that you had a moment to think and after a few reports of no mutations of upon them, though that did not mean they were any less insane as it seemed more than a few of them had mutilated themselves for some dark god, or maybe it was that evil the Elgi keep talking about.
Shaking your head clear of such thoughts you marched through the throng as they took their break, you contemplated your situation. For an hour now, there had been an unusually long lull of armistice as the corsairs readied for their real assault. Halbarad and Sir Imrazôr of Edhellond had called the cavalry to fall back before they were completely eradicated, while the dunedain held a peripheral defence close to the walls to prevent them from getting surrounded, without surrendering the countryside to the enemy.
Overall, despite the victory against the port raiders, this was bad news, the 'evil men' had proven far more dangerous than originally predicted, even compared to Lord Haltons observations. Especially wh...
You stopped dead in your tracks as you spotted a familiar face hidden among the ranks of beardlings....
"Hold it!" You stood ramrod before marching forward to a 'beardling.'. "Alvarr what in Morgrims name are you doing here!"
The master engineer, crudely disguised as a beardling through poorly applied 'beard dye. and tucking half of its length down his belt. refused to fidget as you glared at him. "Evenin governa'."
You seethed. "Of all the bloody whazzocks! If you were so desperate to join the throng, at least tell me. I've been trying to get the elders to 'trial' out their inventions for years now!"
Not even giving him the reaction of a facepalm you growled on. "Ancestors, at least tell me you brought something with you." The radical whazzock nodded. "an Grenade Launcher!" Feeling an aneurism coming on, you grabbed him by the shoulders, pulling his face as close to yours as possible. "THEN WHY DIDN'T YOU USE IT!"
So many umgi maimed, dying or dead. Halton not the least of them. While this whazzock had decided to leave the sanctity of the hold, without damming telling you!
Alvarr seemed to shrug," Needed some powder and wass thinking of making up that Axe Thrower me and the lads brought along, " You ignored his mumble of it missing a few things as you starred at him incredulously while restraining the fire within at having left the clan in this situation. This would have to be settled in the future.
You searched the Throng aware of what to look for and found a few more radicals had hid themselves among the throng. Their weapons were hidden among the caravans, or kept in hidden caches around the city from visits of prior patrols. Regardless, the grip on your az grew tight. Already hale flesh turned white. Too many. Not again. They would be of use and when it was all settled there would be an accounting for this.
You growled as you approached the low wall, the storms fury only picking up further as you drew closer fire running through your veins dimmed slightly if only a little. Mostly in thanks to Logan who was trying to ensure you didn't do anything stupid, though after what those whazzock's did he didn't seem to be trying too hard.
Your eyes roamed the wall that was maybe only three times your height the umgi's tallest members standing just under their eyes, still an advantage was an advantage though you would have preferred a proper wall, as is there was no doubt the umgi were going to try and climb the wall if they made a gap.
Climbing atop the wall, you came to a halt when you saw a massive vessel nearly two thirds the size of an Ironclad, a sea of metal streaming out of a ramp in near sync. Squinting you looked at the umgi carefully and could make out that it was only half-plate they wore they were mostly unarmoured, but this would not be an easy fight. Especially with the movement in the forests that you were seeing, it seemed you would be fighting their heavy troops which was a bit of a problem.
Eastern Ballista: 71+11+10(Tower)=92
Western Ballista: 81+11+10=102
Umbar fighting on steady feat: 43+16=59 (Their adept at fighting atop wet soil but not perfect -10 to all their rolls)
Glancing away from the army that was gathering you looked out to see and could only give a grim smile, a few of the umgi ships looing to have capsized while others sank to the bottom of the ocean, the umgi aboard them taken to their graves as they were swallowed by the currents. Looking over the beaches your eyebrows raised as you spotted a partially sunken Umgi Catapult, looking over the rest of the area you felt your stomach drop as you spotted several artillery pieces abandoned a few Ballista bolts and arrows looking to have stopped them. You just hoped that there were no others on the eastern beaches.
Nodding you glanced over the field a plan coming to mind, glad that Lady Baherail had decided to give you command of the western wall, well more Falstad but the umgi would listen, or at least you hoped they would as that was a lot of umgi infantry.
Not helped by the fact that the wall only raised near the water area it levelling off the further inland it went, the far northern part of the wall far lower than you would have liked and would likely suffer the heaviest of the assault as it could be easily assailed though if they tried they would suffer a rain of death. While if they tried for the coastal area, it would be damned quick for battle but far harder to scale.
Letting out a sigh you supposed it was a small mercy you had some advantages and that the ground looked incredibly hard to fight on in heavy armour at least. Spotting the umgi captain shaking in his armour you sighed, that was never a good sign and would have to watch him carefully, you wondered if it would be a good idea to bring Uvor against this, especially what looked to be elite infantry, then again it would likely forge him well, though it may just be better if you had some trustworthy dawi to hold the other flank too.
Looking around for Falstad you spotted him and made your way you needed a plan and a good one if the umgi were to be repelled.

What do you do with the Radical Engineers (There are 3 of them keep in mind if they die your ability to deploy newer machines slows down as the Conservative master engineers will manage to control the majority of their guild)
[] Have them assemble their Axe Thrower (Dc of 45 to ensure that it does not break for every attack and does not injure anyone but will cut through lightly armoured and medium armour troops quite easily.) (Improves your clans chance of producing more radical Master Engineers) (Where does it set up as it will cover an entire section)
-[] Eastern Wall
-[] Western Wall
[] You'll not trust something assembled within a matter of minutes the thing is more likely to be umgak and you would rather the Master Engineers man the wall with their rather outlandish weapons that are at least tested!. (Improves your clans chance of producing more conservative Master Engineers) (1 Has two masterwork pistols, 1 Has a Grenade launcher and 1 has a Cog hammer but has a standard gun for ranged attacks)
Allied Positions [] Write in a break up of forces to different areas so that it not one group fighting in an area, also allows you to spread your troops where you think it is needed)
(General options) Where will the Throng fight?
[] The Right flank that looks to be facing nearly a thousand Umgi (The largest of the umgi forces though mostly consisting of infantry numbering one thousand two hundred umgi lead directly by their commander)
[] The Center where you can act as a stone while fighting against (2 Regiments of Light, 1 medium, 1 Heavy Infantry and two Regiments of archers number just over a thousand umgi)
[] The Left Flank so to crush the wazzocks and aid the other quickly (4 Regiments of Heavy infantry only number around 300 umgi)
Where do you order the Gondorian Umgi to fight?
[] The Right Flank
[] The Center
[] The Left Flank
Where do you ask the Dunedain to fight?
[] The Right Flank
[] The Center
[] The Left Flank
Where do You have the Cannon Moved?
[] To assist the eastern wall
[] To assist the western wall (it will only get in place by the third combat phase)
Do you sound your horn so that Uvor and his clan Bring his Warriors? (They will fight with you if you do.)
[] Yes
[] No

So this has happened occasionally I just giving everyone a heads up that you will still get the Bonus this is just me technically poaching an Omake with permission and adding it into a post as it would fit real nice for something and it does not happen all that often, otherwise I would feel kind of bad. Though this fitted in nicely and I have been wondering how to introduce this battle mechanic as I actually forgot about it until I was busy with the second part of this.
In this case, it is something purely revolving around the Engineers and for when you go to war, essentially from here onwards you can expect to bring Master Engineers to battle, your hold has 11 of them. There are 7 Conservatives and 4 Radicals, and this will affect things in the future and depending on your choices and how you handle things will either see your clan push more radical or conservative beliefs both having their advantages and disadvantages. Depending on which group you fall in line with will change what you can expect in battles from here onwards. (Radicals will have experimental and wacky tech while Conservatives will offer boosts and while not as dangerous does not come with the same drawbacks, this also affects research and how quickly new things are green-lighted)
Now here is what I Made use of feel free to read it.

Good lord what is driving these Umbari? Even if it doesn't have great walls assaulting the town with such a small numbers advantage and little usable siege equipment from the sounds of it is madness!
I can only assume their commander will be executed if he fails to take the port.
[X] Plan: Turning their flank
[X] The Left Flank so to crush the wazzocks and aid the other quickly (4 Regiments of Heavy infantry only number around 300 umgi)

Where do you order the Gondorian Umgi to fight?
[X] The right flank
Where do you ask the Dunedain to fight?
[X] The center
Where do You have the Cannon Moved?
[X] To assist the eastern wall
Do you sound your horn so that Uvor and his clan Bring his Warriors? (They will fight with you if you do.)
[X] No
Basically my plan is to crush their weak left flank than turn around and hit the centre from behind and the centers flank to cause the maximal amount of damage and in the best case force a route of their center force into their strong right flank, breaking up their formation and breaking their fighting strength that way. For that the Dunedain and Gondorians only need to hold. In my opinion Uvor just stay as a reserve to aid them if necessary. This should allow us to beat the enemy with minimal casualities and hopefully end to battle fully that way
Most likely. While such a policy can be helpfull to motivate commanders more, causing them not to pull out when it was still possibly will do just as large damage for the overall umbar campaign. I assume their invasion of western anfelas has been utterly ruined for minimal harm done to their enemy. I´m interested if that is all we can do to help gondor or send expeditions to other parts of the country to harass the umbar there
This should be a easy win as the Archers and 2 Tower Ballista should kill a lot before they even reach the walls, they are gonna have to call in more of the Umbar Forces Remaining to support this attack
