Okay, so, not quite in line with everyone else plan to rush the stabilizers but I do make a start on it. Concept for this plan is to start getting people into space. Some basic habitation now and some agri experiments just to start getting to grips with things and shake out any problems we haven't foreseen. Plus, having labour and some fresh food in space should help. Of note is also trying to clean up some orbits along with expanding comms.

Infra, continue on rails, also attempt to finish off current phase of tidal since it's cheap energy. Then dice into mecca to keep that rolling along.

Heavy. Going for the eazy project of micro generation to clear that off so we have some backup power just in case. Also make a start on the continuous fusion plant. Main part here is energy and cheap projects.
Light and chemical. We've put off meds for a while so get started in that. Then spreading out Myonmers so they're not all in one locale, also starts spooling up other locations for a small bump.
Agri, perennials have a long spoolup. So finally get those finished for some political support. Also to help finish off our food for the plan. Consumer goods are a nice added bonus. Plus we're likely to need food soon.

Tib, a bit controversial. 1 dice to get the stabilizers started. 1 dice into the containment development. Main thing here is red zone 6, an energy free tib inhibitor. Here to help push against the redzone and protect chicago since that's been left for a while. Also its more pressure onto Gideon.

Service are two small projects making a start on the medical schools. Also, cheap and easy indoor park program.

Finish off with plenty of military dice to finish the predator and the first phase of rockets.

Not the best plan in the world I'll admit. But I want to get started on space and I'd rather not try running before we can walk.

edit: Slight mistake. Red zone 6 is south america but that's fine too.

I'd rather have a decent chance of finishing the Mecca/Jeddah phase this turn, then use a non-fusion die on an attempt to get the Stabilizers slightly ahead of schedule.
I also feel like something is off with the Navy/Cruiser thing. We've now built 3 Governor Class Shipyards, and nothing has changed with confidence or priority. I'm wondering if this is due to a lag between the production of the Shipyards and ships rolling into the ocean. Also, if I recall correctly, 'Very High Priority' means that more than one department has said that they want them, not that one department desperately needs them.
Then we have the narrative situation. We aren't getting defeated in naval skirmishes at the moment, we are getting hassled in the Air. So I'm not sure that we should keep pushing out Cruiser Factories right now.
Would have gone with Orca Refits, but we do need to get the Predator deployment out of the way first.
So I've gone with Wartime Factory Refits instead. That is one of the reasons we are trying to churn out a massive amount of Capitol Goods, and we have some ready to use. And I'm pretty sure the military big-wigs will never tell us that they need the old factories refurbished. They always prefer the shiny new tech, with the big price-tags.

Yeah, if you had another Enterprise you would always have to distinguish whether you were talking about the ship or the station.

For Prometheus, while there's certainly symbolism of stealing fire from the Gods (taking the reactionless drive from the Scrin), I'm not so hot on the name given how Prometheus ended up being eternally punished for his crime. Almost as bad as naming a ship Icarus.

It is not like I called the ship Invincible. But Prometheus is mostly because I like Stargate and Prometheus was a cool ship there.

So instead of going for the Space shiny I'm going for the focuses I think we need done this turn and also activating all the dice so again this plan is:

- Focusing down Mecca in Infrastructure Dice
- Focusing down North Boston in Heavy Industry Dice
- Slowrolling Chemical Fertilizers and Personal Robotics because we need the former for the plan and the latter doesn't subtract from our resources
- Agriculture has Yellow Zone Aquaponics and Spider Cotton so we can get our Food goals, YZ favor and Capital Goods production
- Tiberium is activating Mecca, doing a security review and the just focusing down Tiberium Stabilizers with Fusion Dice
- Orbital is finishing up the Lunar Regolith Harvesting and doing Orbital Cleanup so we have space to launch things up there for the next year or two
- Services is Expanding Medical Schools with 3 Dice and starting on Domestic Animal Programs with 1 Die
- Military is just Deploying Predator and the first Phase of Universal Rockets

Yes I know there might be a better plan down the thread, but I'll be the judge of that when I read it. In the mean time I just wanted to deploy my own plan finally.

Anyway, we're going to need two different food projects for that part of the Plan. We already set up for the next phase of yellow zone aquaponics, so my suggestion for the other project is to use our newly freed up light industry dice to do Chemical Fertilizer Plants.

We've been talking about this since the 2056 turns. Are you just putting up a reminder? Or did you just come into the conversation here?

Okay why are all of the plan concepts that have been put up choose 'spider cotton' over 'Wadmalaw Kudzu' which is a stated high priority?

one is a method to mass produce a superior polymer, many times stronger than a steel string of similar thickness and with a fraction of the weight.

The other one is rated high priority because its a fast growing tea plant and the politicians want coffee.

Wadmalaw Kudzu is consumer goods/PS, spider cotton has military use without using military dice i think the second is needed more now we are swapping free dice from military to stabilizers.

Because that 'high priority' is politicians putting their thumb on the scales because they want coffee.

High priority to politicians isn't the same high priority as airforce needing advanced missiles.

Spider cotton meanwhile opens up capitol goods and stuff like that.

Because Spider Cotton is implying Capital Goods out of Agriculture, while the Kudzu is more of a PS choice that is high priority because you have bureaucrats across the initiative more or less going "Where is my fucking Caffeine Granger, you damned hack!"

At the current rate they're going to be waiting a long time since I think most caffeine options are for the second phase of Perennial Aquaponics Bays. And even if we planted some tea trees and coffee plants in the first phase it takes 3 years to grow tea and 3-4 years to grow coffee.

So given the lack of such caffeine I just imagine GDI bureaucrats shotgunning energy drinks.

I thought we needed the Caffeine Kudzu to be able to manufacture Energy Drinks with the Caffeine from it?

Hrm... Not keen overly on existing plans.
Attempting to put more than 8 dice on the Stabilizer when we don't have enough fusion dice is unnecessary. The project should complete with 8 dice per turn for 3 turns. If it falls behind, then there are more fusion dice in later turns to catch up with. Likelihood of getting really good rolls and completing in two turns is negligible.
Would prefer to move one die from Stabilizer onto Mecca/Jeddah as that would give it a substantial chance of completing this turn.

We have 9 Fusion Dice this turn and my plan uses 6 Dice on Mecca to try to get at least one Phase of it done this turn.

Edited: Changed the Agriculture projects around, fixed the Free dice and Fusion dice allocations, but still dropped 1 die from the Stabilizers. Added Orbital Communications.

I'm not too far off from other plans, and I ended up changing my original plan to match some of them, as they had good arguments.

Where I differ is a greater emphasis on Agriculture. I think both Aquaponics projects are low hanging fruit (no pun intended) that will very nearly complete our Food targets and give a nice bump in Consumer Goods.

I think we have to invest 1 die in the Red Zone Containment Lines. It's the final stage, and we're so close to done. Even if our current sonics are becoming less effective, completing the containment fencing will still pump the breaks on Red Zone growth. I really think it's worth the 1 die and 25 Resources.

I think getting Medical Schools done now is worth the full Services investment, rather than hoping for good rolls. And I think 1 die to just complete this Stage of Orbital Cleanup is good enough.

Military, pretty much the same as everyone else, but I'm tossing the poor Steel Talons a bone with the Havoc.
