Flipside is more dice now means more flexibility on later turns in case something pops up and the chance we can shave some dice off later since we know the progression left (so if we roll high early we can shave dice off at the end)

Also 2 dice on RWS gives a solid chance for it to finish and get that bit of tech deployed into the field to help deal with NOD as opposed to waiting additional turns.

Hrm... Not keen overly on existing plans.
Attempting to put more than 8 dice on the Stabilizer when we don't have enough fusion dice is unnecessary. The project should complete with 8 dice per turn for 3 turns. If it falls behind, then there are more fusion dice in later turns to catch up with. Likelihood of getting really good rolls and completing in two turns is negligible.
Would prefer to move one die from Stabilizer onto Mecca/Jeddah as that would give it a substantial chance of completing this turn.
 
On using 8 or 9 dice this turn on the Tiberium Stabilizer, keep in mind most plans are also using a die on Security Reviews. Next turn we could easily put 10 dice into the project, and 10 more dice the turn after. 8 +10 +10 =28 dice total, when 26 dice is enough for a 95% completion chance. So I don't think the difference between 8 or 9 dice this turn is that drastic, as long as we follow it up with 9-10 dice next turn.
However, the more dice are relied on at the end of the 3 turn plan, the more uncertainty there would be for for just how much the dice results can be relied on. Hence my continued arguments for using more dice in the beginning than later if completion of the Stabilizer is to be prioritized over other concerns at this point.

Because the main point people should consider for choosing 8 over 9 dices in Stabilizer is whether or not Space projects that require Fusion absolutely still needs to be squeezed in for this turn, even when considering the sheer importance of finishing the Stabilizer before the end of this 4-year plan. I think they can wait for one more turn to use more Fusion dice, because much benefits of of space projects are not needed immediately and are instead meant for the far future. So slightly shifting resources from them for a small and temporary amount of time is only logical to consider for now for more assured and safer progress control on completion of the Stabilizer, which is wanted by pretty much Everyone at this point.

I did say I have a slight preference for 9 stabilizer dice over 8, so I'll throw my votes at those. Otherwise I'd just end up approval voting for every leading plan right now and not change the vote at all so I narrowed it down, this isn't an indictment of Stabilize! Stabilize! or Optimal Fusion I'd be fine with those winning too.

I did too. But I also reached a point where the discord was erupting into literal daily arguments about the topic, and every time it got brought up here the thread got heated, leading to a threadlock at one point, and I am not ready to deal with it any more.
It was one of the key things that I had hoped to do in the quest, but, frankly, it was not working, at all.

Sorry it got like that. Hope the thread is still fun otherwise though.
