It's kind of a difficult choice because we've kind of been wanting to use Dream both to spy on sleeping people and to explore the memories of the past. The mountain dew would be more tempting if we could reasonably believe it would lead to us walking the dreams of Qingge, Biyu and our friends among the disciples, or just the general mortal and immortal population. But it's dew, thunder and golden light which just screams Yuan He, who recently had an interlude.

So, I'll note that to me it is becoming increasingly obvious why the Weilu would gradually lose interest in the material world and focused heavily on the liminal realm. Because this is delving deeper into the Liminal realm is fascinating, wondrous, and very alluring in possiblility.
Dewdrops reflect current possibilities, cities carved into the shadow and wood at the base of monolith trees. And that's really just at this location, I can imagine in other places it would be just as fantastical.
