The other side of taking Strongly pro worker + moderate enforcement is that we won't need too much government bureaucracy, the unions and the better paid workers can simply inform the government agencies themselves since they will likely have the means to do so.

Cooperative based free market is fine by me

I care more about the free market part (prudction and trade free of governmenr control) than the private ownership one

So having a lot of workers consuming and producing while enforcing working rigths is perfect for me

Military Department Opinions.
Nothing from the Air Force? (And we already know the Steel Talons don't like us.)
Housing: Sufficient but low quality (=) (5 in refugee camps)
Interestingly, this has increased by 1 point. It means the new Fortress Towns won't be enough to close the refugee camps, but it also means more people joining the refugee camps instead of living elsewhere in the Yellow Zones.

Let's do some Free Market stuff on our terms, yeah? Besides, even from a technocratic point of view, this gets the most people the most QoL increase. We need to support workers far more strongly than business owners, so we might as well allow cooperatives and other worker-owned businesses to have the support they need to get started.

I'm less certain about Intensive Enforcement, but given how much NOD tends to screw with everything I don't feel too bad if we're overshooting on that front.

Yeah pretty much. It's the best of all worlds imo. Make the invisible hand of the free market work for everyone rather than the few! :V

LEASH THE BEAST, THEN SET IT UPON THE ENEMY THAT IS ECONOMIC STAGNATION.

Picking all the most left options might result in unfavorable political consequences. IMO it would be better to make things strongly pro-worker so that that have more money to spend and then trust that the empowered unions can hold their own with moderate enforcement on our end.

Thats the min maxing mechanics option

Wich is perfectly fine and respectable

But i choose strongly pro worker out of a narrative interest

The economy still free market driven but the way enterprises are organized is a major change

So the idea of creating a "new flavor of capitalism" is too interesting for me to let it pass (plus that sweet increased comsuption and production of goods),changing history if you will

- Plenty of investment to get the services sector started and that it hits the ground running
- Strongly Pro Worker could also be seen as anti-employer bias, which could piss off the Free Market Party. As long as workers' rights, specifically the right to unionise, is protected I'm happy.
- Intensive Support because employees' rights and industrial laws, like any laws, aren't worth a damn thing unless they are enforced. Moderate Support specifically states that law enforcement authorities will be relying on someone telling them there's a problem before they act, and that means if a workforce is intimidated into silence nothing happens, as has happened plenty of times in real world history.

On a note unrelated to politics or economics, we need to gain 2 points of Tiberium mitigation to reach our goal of Tiberium mitigation assigned by the government. People have been talking about completing the last phase of Red Zone Perimeter Harvests to gain the necessary mitigation, but I'm wondering if we should try going for two levels of Red Zone Tiberium Harvesting instead - it would give us two points of mitigation for the Red Zone and, more importantly, open up plenty of terrain for Tiberium Glacier Mining once the new plan starts. Current phase of Red Zone Tiberium Harvesting costs 130 pts, and even if Phase 6 doubles the cost that's 260 for a total of 390 pts. We already have 22 pts, and six dice invested in Tiberium will give a bonus of +168, meaning we would only need to get 200 points from six dice. Can anyone calculate the chance of success for that option?

@Ithillid Is there a Phase 6 available for Red zone Tiberium Harvesting, or does it stop at Phase 5?
