It's part of the story... but we could have refused the mission and it'd be killed the next day by Jetei. We'd get another mission or just gotten the introduction course by Wugui and Jetei when Kumi was done.

I find it so frustrating that people are willingly putting six more actions on our plate when we have perennial complaints about having too much. If we were struggling to meet all our obligations before...

We want to make our father proud, but stagnating over a singe charm while everyone leaves us in the dust isn't a good way to do that. If people want to double down in the future? Why not try to increase the potency of his craft checks somehow? I feel that's a much healthier option...

As a quester I feel the to do list in this quest is already too long. Coupled with the fact that Siani takes 3 actions and keeping up with our girls (+ Ming Hui) rightfully takes on avg another 2 each week... I just want this done with.
Narratively, the training with Wugui has made me more interested in our changes. I would rather save these 6 actions and spend them on exploring the "gifts" more fully somewhere down the line.

This is a quest about being an adventuring xianxia crafter. It seems like making charms of this magnitude should be the norm sooner rather than later.
