People keep saying "oh we don't need FV for the Deer fight so DDing is fine" are missing the point I feel. The reason to finish FV is to finish it and free up 6-7 actions to do other things - like more socials with our friends, or finding wonders and integrating techniques. Not to have it for any particular fight. If you would rather spend 6-7 actions on perfecting FV because that's what you think Zhi would do, that's fine. But don't think that committing to DD means we have *less* pressure to work on FV - given we've committed to a whole extra week of actions on it, it means *more* pressure.
I don't know about everyone else but that's not the reason I care about. The choice here is to sink more time into it or not, and both are perfectly valid. I get that it'll take time to do and that means less time spent on other things, and
I am okay with that. Because I think AFV is, at this point in time, literally the most important charm we have ever made, made with a
legendary gemstone from Kong Shuren's
personal collection, will not only fix our limbs but give us cool
transformation powers, and I don't care how many actions we have to spend on it to make it the best it can be.
Also, for people who are saying our family just wants us to fix this, so we should get on with it: well, what our family said was to go at our own pace, and I don't see why that's a reason against making it the best charm it can be, because a charm as important as this
deserves that.
