There is no emotion... (A Jedi Order Quest)

I'm probably gonna wait for an alternative plan and its reasoning to come up, so as to provide a viable point of comparison to the one presented.

I'm not suited to making such a plan though.

Considering we only have the Vigilance levels to judge from and no current crisis, choosing the right compositions for different regions is largely a game of chance.

Mission Report 3943 BBY Q1
Mission Report 3943 BBY Q1

Mission 1 (The Core, Councilor Mira, 1 Jedi Consular, 1 Jedi Sentinel, 1 Jedi Guardian, 4 Padawans)

Councilor Mira

We've received reports of a derelict ship broadcasting an SOS, on a collision course with Coruscant. While the planetary shields should be capable of taking it to the chin, that's a hell of a "should" to gamble on. We're using my ship to check it.

Mission 2 (The Mid-Rim, Councilor Bastila Shan, Consular Atris, 2 Jedi Sentinels, 3 Jedi Guardians, 6 Padawans)
Padawan Iolete Shirote

We have received reports of a plague outbreak on Bothawui. While the authorities have enacted a stringent quarantine on the afflicted cities, there is a slight problem: a local polit-cult is claiming the entire thing is a hoax, to a terrifying degree, clogging up the system. While we can't just beat them into submission, they can't just be allowed spread it globally for the sake of their own whims.

How are we to deal with them?

Mission 3 (The Outer Rim, Councilor Atton Rand, 3 Jedi Consulars, 3 Jedi Sentinels, 5 Padawans)
Councilor Atton Rand

A domestic dispute on a backwater. Apparently one of them's a big houha, though, so the local government's called us in to figure out what the hell happened.

Mission 4 (The Colonies, Councilor Visas Marr, 4 Jedi Sentinels, 4 Padawans)
Personal log of Sentinel Mordo

It is...a difficulty. He reeks of pain, and loss, and despair, like a corpse not quite dead.

Master Visas says I should follow my feelings; well, my feelings say he needs my help.

Mission 5 (The Expansion Region, Grandmaster Bao-Dur, 4 Jedi Guardians, 2 Jedi Consulars, 2 Jedi Sentinels, 6 Padawans )
Grandmaster Bao-Dur

As my attempts at diplomacy with the Vong do not seem to be bearing fruit, I have decided to deploy myself far, far away, to try and do some good. The world of Darom is only newly settled, and needs some help; a good place to go and clear all our heads.

Mission 6 ( Hutt Space Councilor Juhani, Councilor Mical, 3 Sentinels, 1 Guardian, and 1 Consular)
Councilor Mical

We are approaching Hutt Space to try and make contact with the cults. Reports will be sparce, but we will try and send them when we can.

Mission 1 (The Core, Councilor Mira, 1 Jedi Consular, 1 Jedi Sentinel, 1 Jedi Guardian, 4 Padawans)
Councilor Mira

It's a trap.

A mook I turned in way back when, before I met Meetra. He wants to make me watch him kill...uh, a whole lot of people. He's got himself protected by ray-shield as he plunges the ship towards the surface; with an ionic field, he should manage to pierce right through the shields and slam into the surface.

Me and the others are trapped.

I don't know, how...unless-

I'll be back!

Mission 2 (The Mid-Rim, Councilor Bastila Shan, Consular Atris, 2 Jedi Sentinels, 3 Jedi Guardians, 6 Padawans)

You ever try to pick up mastery of an entire planet's kriffed legal system with only about a week to work with?

Cause I have. The only thing I have going for me is that these freaks have even less grasp than I do, and Bothawui law isn't that different from Republic standard.

Here's hoping this works...

Mission 3 (The Outer Rim, Councilor Atton Rand, 3 Jedi Consulars, 3 Jedi Sentinels, 5 Padawans)
Councilor Atton Rand

I am shocked, shocked I tell you, to discover the rich and powerful are actually just as freakish as the rest of us.

By which I mean "holy shit, the guy has been helping traffic slaves off planet, including their training, 'underneath' the law's nose."

Fortunately, he was more stealthy than secure. Shouldn't be too hard to bring the whole rotten house down on his head.

Mission 4 (The Colonies, Councilor Visas Marr, 4 Jedi Sentinels, 4 Padawans)
Personal Journal of Sentinel Mordo

I was right. I was right, I was right, I was right.

But it won't do much for me if I can't get myself out of here.

Long story short: a local representative from one of the Districts of Ejaz is a Serial Killer. He was active way back, bout fifty years now. His kid figured it out, and managed to leak it to me by empathy.

I think he might be Sensitive.

But then he managed to get the drop on me, and stick inhibitors on me. Meaning I can't contact the Force.

Fortunately, he was less diligent about blasters...

Mission 5 (The Expansion Region, Grandmaster Bao-Dur, 4 Jedi Guardians, 2 Jedi Consulars, 2 Jedi Sentinels, 6 Padawans )
Grandmaster Bao-Dur

The work is easy enough. The locals were trying to establish a simple rope bridge over a small river without having to cut down any of the trees. Possible with durasteel. Straightforward.

Mission 6 ( Hutt Space Councilor Juhani, Councilor Mical, 3 Sentinels, 1 Guardian, and 1 Consular)
Councilor Mical

Hutts may not be vulnerable to mind tricks, but they sure can be bribed pretty easily.

Councilor Mira

I keep...I keep looking at the apartments.

I failed, Master. I tried to overload the ray shield with my missiles, and it almost worked.

But the ship gave out before the shields. The craft blastgunned into an apartment building, and we were almost caught in it.

As is, the Coruscanti are less than impressed.

There is no death, there is only the Force.

Sithspit, that should not have worked. Of the course, the Kaynan cultists don't care. But I did manage to convince the legal establishment that they could actually do something, in a "crossing their t's and dotting their i's" sort of way. So, rather than spreading the disease throughout an innocent population, they're cooling their heels in temporary holding cells.

Or permanent, as the case may be, considering some of the barve dung we found on their terminals...

Dealt with, of course.

For every one politico kriffed that I exposed their ally as a monster, three just got all the political capital they could ever ask for. Helps that I didn't kill him; instead, he is currently on his way to any number of prisons on the planet. Most of them he opened.

Serves him right, the pig.

The bridge is complete, and their thanks real.

I feel...better.

Wow we failed a mission on Coruscant that doesn't happen often we made up the difference immediately after but still that kind of stings.
