I'm somewhat more concerned about Xia Lin's actions than Meng Dan's in the upcoming expedition, but I also think we've got less leverage to do anything about them.

Meanwhile, I want to watch Hanyi and Yinhui.

Well, Biyu is a potential cultivator, but Qingshe will probably die before reaching 200, even with her little bits of cultivation. And given Ling Qi talent and ambition, she might very well outlive Biyu too by reaching much higher realms. But this is a very long term concern

Well apparently the characters did not know that IC. We where heading there without proper winter gear, that would have been Fun(tm).

Also that the area is Western Jungle lvls of Fuck Everything.

It's not about what we learned, it's about what the characters learned. In-story they did not have this knowledge, and as such we likely would have seen a malus on rolls from not preparing for the environment properly.

We learned that it isn't ruled by the laws of man. That means there something down that is systemically stronger than man, as the dragons once were I would guess.

It's been a hot second since we've seen him, and once the expedition is over it'll be another hot second before we see him again.

I mean, we're on month 11 and he was only supposed to stay in the outer sect for the one year, not the two we're staying in the inner. I definitely want some Gan time at some point during this trip, but we will see him again not too terribly long after it.

There's cold and there's supernaturally cold with wind sharp enough to cut cultivator flesh and suffused with stellar radiation.

One is something you can resolve with a little protection, the other needs special gear to resolve--and more importantly it gives a lot of insight as to the kind of personality type is needed to live up in this place (Stubborn, no bullshit, and clings to what they have with an iron vice)
