The problem is that what we need is EM and as far as I know the trust produces the most em in Pacificus. The only other paces would be the conclave but they need there EM too. But I expect we may be pull off when the time comes. It will just be more of the preparation phase than what we are doing now.
The Eldar have access to the Webway and thus literally to the rest of the galaxy including other polities like Callamus, Secondus and Quintus. Our main issue with the wards is that they are hideously expensive to get and maintain. Asking the Eldar for some help doesn't seem like it would be that big a deal and would logically be something that they would at least do for the Hive that Ridcully AKA one of their best assets is staying in on Avernus when they know that he is going to be a target because of the plan.

Right now we are in the high council meeting not talking to the eldar. You make it sound like the trust has the ability to dictate to the eldar. While I am sure they will help you are going over stuff we need to do in the time skip.

But that's what I mean. I don't mean right now but as a possibility in the future.

Is there any way we can go into debt for favours with the Eldar, perhaps by committing to do stuff that will help them in future, like with Divinations?

If that's possible then we could potentially get them to help with the Lancre survivors, and clearing spies from Dragon's Nest, and giving us better warp travel tech after the AdMech civil war, and essentially have a kind of "payment plan" for what Ridcully and the Trust would do to pay them back.

Do we know if it is possible to sell Ridcully's divinations to other members of the Trust in exchange for thrones or materials?

Also, if we use Ridcully to induce an incursion on Avernus, would we be willing to keep Ridcully from participating in the attempt to free Isha? Even if we are somehow able to sneak him off planet without Nurgle noticing, we are leaving Avernus to an Incursion without any re rolls.

Because we discuss things like future possibilities all the time and I wanted to ask now before I forget. That and it literally takes less than a minute to ask and get an answer back.
The eldar will not transport large amount of resources. I look it up durinsays because of the webway state but to think it is so sw do not game the system.

no we can not go into debt favor. Again so we do not game the system.

No why would they do that. They can just ask Ridicully.

Ridicully has already helped the best way he can by finding the pathway to her. He is not a great fighter and the eldar will be bringing everything to save her.

Guys, for the Eldar Warp Drives thing remember that that's liable to upset folks. Especially the AdMech. Wait until AFTER the civil war, rather than triggering it.

As to giving Atlas's Gift to the Crimson Crusaders, I'd rather not put a Chapter that has horrendous luck and attracts bad things in the middle of our orbital defenses for our shipyard and industrial centers.

EDIT - I'm also not a fan of trying to colonize Valinor while we're both in the middle of trying to rebuild the Trust's military AND integrate the Dragon's Nest. It'd spread resources too thin.

That makes sense I guess, although seeing as it would have been the difference of a couple of minor favours, rather than a major or honourbound favour, I don't think that the favour debt would have been extreme enough to game the system.

No why would they do that. They can just ask Ridicully.

I'm suggesting that we sell Ridcully's time for things that are not vital to the survival of the Trust's worlds.

If requested, I'm sure Ridcully would divine a world for something like latent cultists for free.

But something like asking him to divine their own topics of interest? I see that as something we could charge them for.

Say that Niflheim was interested in the history of some relic item that they found on their planet. And they want more than just knowing it's history but also want to know how to replicate it. This is something that is not vital but something that would be nice to have.

I'm sure that lots of worlds in the Trust have their own pet curiosities. I say we let them indulge them in exchange for material to favors.

So is there any reason we can't consider having Jacob become our heir? He is pretty competent in a number of areas and his high combat stat and traits means he is unlikely to be killed which is pretty important on a place like Avernus.

[x] Plan Discuss Investment and Spies
-[X] Propose integrating the Crimson Crusaders into the Trust, provided they are willing, and invite discussion on the best method to do so.
-[X] Propose the Trust consider colonizing Valinor sub sector during these time of relative peace. Discuss whether the Trust has the resources and forces to adequately supply and defend such an effort.
-[X] Propose using 2 minor Eldar favors to cleanse Dragon's nest of spies and cultists. Dragon's nest has no problem with these and it would help with the merger and not h e to worry about tech theft as much.
-[X] Propose the creation of a Trust-wide academy to train anti-psyker forces, in anticipation of the Chaos ritual.
-[X] Propose when another minor favor becomes available we use it to get a Eldar seer council to help him with divinations.
-[X] Agree with Collage of War

This is an altered version of @Nurgle's plan. It doesn't give Atlas's Gift to the CCs, but rather opens discussion on the best way to integrate them if they're willing. Similarly, for Valinor it opens discussion on the matter - we don't know if this is really the right move. The action for the spies is the same.

EDIT - added an anti-psyker forces training academy.

@Enjou and @Nurgle can you also add a proposal for a pan-Trust anti-psyker academy? An institution designed to mimic the Avernite Arbites. We're going to need it once the ritual hits.

@Enjou you might want to add using a major favor so we can learn eldar warp technology. Mobility is a big problem for us.

As for the subsector we already payroll and garrison it. So we might as well colonize it during a time of peace.
