Edit: Actually I don't know how the Sect Handles combat death. Tea sipping boy might have gotten 500 CP and a posthumous 200 Rank promotion.

Depends on what happens to the CP of deceased disciples. If it goes poof with a disciple's death then a lot of CP just got destroyed.
