As An Eagle Flies (A House Arryn Quest)

[X]The Main Royal force: Ten thousand Strong with Lord Baratheon, you will be fighting alongside Steffon and Areys. You will be in danger, as the Storm lord will be the spearhead that will kill this Brotherhood.

[X]The Valien Forces: Your father wished for you to fight alongside him, and your Uncle wishes to see the man who will soon be A Knight of the Vale. Although you worry about your father. Rage was consuming him, as he wanted Spotted Tom's head.
Can only choose one, those are two separate forces.

[X]The Northern Lord's: The North needed more experienced Cavalry Commanders, and Ser Gerold Elected to take assist the Northern efforts. Much to his cringe.

Let us spend time with our father

Twins. Heh. Are we going by the theory in canon that Jaime and Cersei were illegitimate children of the Mad King? It was a little out there, but it makes me wonder. The timelines don't match up, but still...

We have now seen a black miracle. We are taking magic dead seriously from here on out. Its as real as the blade in our hand or the woman in our arms. Any who deny this may be forgiven because they have not seen... but they are still blind. Magic is real, the gods are real, and the fates play cruel games. This is absolute fact. Why did this happen, beyond platitudes about men reaching too far? Men reached this far before. Why not again?

We need to build something worthwhile in a world more dangerous than we ever thought.

I have always gone through Constants and Variables. At least for the most important events in Westrosi History.

This is one of them, especially since we have no control over... well... that stuff.

Well... all I will say is this.

Wildfire alone can't melt stone castles.;)

Because someone, or something deemed the world is not ready to know something yet.:V

Or Aegon just fucked up his ritual.

With a potential +60 to diplomacy, you can certainly start the ball rolling.

Yeah let's fight with our future subjects, father and uncle. Let's start building a reputation and long lasting friendships. Our friends will understand and we are helping just in a different way.

Where ever we go is because The king ordered Ser Gerold, our master (Knight) has been ordered to. So we're just following orders wherever we go.

I'd prefer to gain more experience in combat by the sworn brothers' sides than anywhere else. We shouldn't consider ourselves capable enough to really act as a force multiplier in any army other than the main, the Dornish, or the Valeian. And I would prefer for our to-be subjects see us as better than we are now. Plus, Steffon and Aerys are both in the main, which, while more dangerous, does mean some covering, and some friendly supporting and the like.

Just compared our skills with dad and we are almost better than him in everything. We are either better or just tied with him. We are better at talking, Commanding and scheming. The only thing we are tied on is Administration. Fighting not sure because dads isn't shown.

And there is hardly a soul alive that truly knows wildfire. A few drops, enough to set a sword ablaze? Perhaps. But wildfire is a substance that is more than the description a boy would hear word-of-mouth in any court. Oh, it is burns things. It also tells the laws of reality, even to modern eyes, to fuck themselves with a spork.

By itself, its magic. Terrifying magic that would probably best be forgotten. I don't care if its manufactured with rituals that have the trappings of technology.

Hm. So here, past that, we have a miniature Doom. At least that is a working theory.

How many survivors are there total? Including inconsequential like chambermaids, guards, and what have you.

As much as going with the main royal army sounds like the more interesting option, it's important for our future vassals to truly know us and that we show them what we can do even if I also would prefer we were better then we curently are before doing this.

Through since Ser Gerold is with us and we will be meeting our good old jolly uncle Yohn who is a absolute beast we probably can learn a thing or two from them while on the move, combat and commanding to be specific.

Who knows, now that we atleast have a idea that magic might be real Arstan could ask to take a closer look at the Royce runes?

Edit: Dont forget we should also broach the subject or assassination and general sabotage against the 12 with the army commanders.

I'll vote for this... because our father is legitimately losing his composure. He isn't a Baratheon. Rage blunts him rather than sharpens him. He can be the smartest man in the world but it means jack all if he lets himself be swept up in the storm.

Our fury is that of a scalpel: A passing cold sensation and then the realization that you are now missing your favorite artery or tendon. A single inch of steel in the right place would bring down the Mountain himself.

Maybe convince some sellswords to you know not keep fighting for the Brotherhood and if we are lucky convince them to work for us at least for a time.

I worry about putting the entire Vale leadership together but we're to one day lead these people.
