I never said that.Guess dear ol' dad kicked the bucket. Was nice knowing you, old man.
I just said that Jon is going to be doing things without our involvement.

Oh, come on! Let me at least speculate the worst!I never said that.
I just said that Jon is going to be doing things without our involvement.
But that's not the worst thing that can happen.
Okay. Here is an explanation."rubs head" If there are rolls for random events&characters at least explains how they work, as well as which instances constitute as random events and which type of characters get rolls: such as Lord Paramounts, Bannermen or the political situation in Essos etc.
Hmm, i see, a bit disappointed though, when i first saw the middle option about "great deeds" i was thinking something more along the lines of "so long as you don't commit any big ripples like fighting Maelys, Rhaegar, Arthur Dayne or starting a Great Crusade to end slavery in Essos" then canon is set in stone due to Bloodraven trying to stick to his plan, resulting in us trying to counter his Greenseing&Warging with our own, defying Destiny being the theme i was thinking when i choose:Okay. Here is an explanation.
These rolls happen randomly to the key peoples of Westeros, the nights watch, the lord paramounts, the "kingmakers" within the seven kingdoms and certain people within the seven kingdoms who are "important".
These rolls mostly affect a certain decision that effects their relationship with another person, or people in the case of Tytos. That leads to some friendships and rivalries that may not have been around in canon history and that in turn effects your "great deed" the events that you can participate in to change the whole history of Westeros.
These rolls are always hidden from you, unless they change the balance of power in Westeros, or they lead to someone doing something batshit insane... and other things that I will not say. (Except the coming of magic, that ain't changing or can be affected by you in any way.)
It will also lead into Westeros enemies of the realm, people who are traitors, rebels and or Sympathizers to the Blackfyre cause.
That will be updated periodically, mostly with foreign adversaries or bounties within your region, whom you can come into contact during random actions that are appropriate for them to appear or when you choose the "Hunt Bounty" Action.
Now as of this moment there is no great deed coming up, not until certain criteria are met, or events outside your control force them to happen.
As for Essos and the Blackfyres, you will not be able to learn about them until you have a spy network, or piggy back off of the current spymasters own network. Because who the hell watches essos as closely as the spymaster of the realm.
But the rolls will affect their power, influence and alliances for the war of Ninepenny Kings.
Does this answer your questions in a satisfactory manner?
While you are correct about this drastic, spine grafting to Tytos being strange and non canon as hell, it's actually a butterfly change that occurred as far back as our mothers death with a letter sent by Dear old dad to kings landing and to the other LP's.The fact is that Tytos, the Toothless Lion, was canonically a meek and spineless person who never fought back, even to defend his own Pride, children, and selling Genna in order to satisfy Walder Frey's whims should be enough of a telling sign as to how unlikely it would be for him to change, especially from the mere existence of a child, a boy of a Lord Paramount, yes, but still a child nonetheless who never had any dealings whatsoever with the Westerlands.
Yeah which is what is still going to happen most of the time, except for the people you are in direct contact with.n other words, canon wise the characters would act the same as per their canon counterpart, with the only difference being our existence, causing small, non-canon changing actions at first, but eventually spiraling into big changes that would shake Planetos as a whole
That is where you are wrong. This is not the court of Bobby B, where decadence, intrigue and whatnot ruled the day, where everyone had agendas and no loyalty to the realm (Varys does not count).Going to Kings Landing now isn't a good idea, we are literally a blank card. We have nothing to gain in King's Landing right now, no one to specifically teach and guide us or atleast not a good one.

This is the court of Aegon the Fifth, with One of the most competent small councils of this era. That is not getting into his kingsguard possibly the finest collection of knights ever assembled post blackfyre rebellion, led by Duncan the Tall, one of the finest men to ever serve in the order.
Aegon is a liberal reformer, even as he compromised with his lords to prevent rebellion.
This is a king and court that is seeing a small golden age.
It might not be perfect, but we are not exactly entering the vipers den of canon present day Kings landing.
There will be plenty of people to teach us, and plenty of people who will make sure we are totally competent in our duties.
You. are. overreacting. As Magoose said so himself, the court of Aegon is clean, or as clean as it can be, given the inherent corruption of feudalism. So long as we don't run, wearing our fancy Arryn clothes - screaming that you are Jon Arryn's son, in the middle of Flea Bottom then we should be fine. Again, in order to get in ACTUAL danger we would have to be stupid and moronic enough to actually put ourselves in such a situation, so chill. We are a uneducated (As in currently not having any skills in any area), seemingly idealistic child (how the hell di that happen ) in the capital. Going there probably ensures we will most likely be manipulated used or otherwise taken advantage of by those with something to gain from it. We are after all the heir to a Lord Paramouncy to one of the better of kingdoms.
While I would be inclined to agree with the idea that Aegon's court wouldn't be as bad as Robert's, schemers, power hungry individuals and other unsavoury characters will always exist. Especially when power is as centralized in one location such as King's Landing.
I just dont think that we will be able to get as good a education in KL then we could have had with Royce.
Personaly I just think it's too soon to be trying to get involved in The Game.
He is overreacting, but he makes a point. We are young and we are unskilled to be playing the game.You. are. overreacting.
