I'm just going to assume these are in aggregate game-changing useful.

(1+20+4+20+5+50+15+2+2+3+20+1)*1000=143k Credits

Also whether their webs can be used to make armour like in real life.
I'm reminded of the time time I went with Silksteel Formers in an Alpha Centuari game.

Still a bit sad Avernus doesn't have Mind Worms, I guess Implantation Spiders are the closest I'll get.

I'm not sure who, if anyone we should give the Low-Artifacts to. Tormod? Richards? Syr?
Sigmund, Syr, Odysseus and Admiral Sarnow all have varied blade traits, as do Inquisitor Varquez and General Schwarz if we feel like handing out gifts.

Edit: Of our PDF marshals Cheshire, Waters, Khol, Stumpf, Bruhn and Lind have blade traits if we really feel like splurging.

1. Since there are a LOT of assumptions going around now, roughly how big of a morale penalty should we expect for fielding the spiders?
1. -10 to -100 depending on how close they are (-100 is for the handler), -100 to people who can see them on the horizon
it will go down over time as your people get used to them and differentiate them from Blink Spiders. Just because a lion killed your brother does not mean you have to hate domestic cats

@Durin, from the stats in sabreFather's bestiary, does the cone fire of the salamanders' flame breath truly almost double the range of the Knight Titan-grade Conflagration Cannon? (32" versus 18")

@Durin

1. Would overpaying the Skinks cause penalties or bonuses to the Peace Treaty Roll?
2. Would overpaying both provide bonuses to the Peace Treaty Roll?

That would defeat the purpose of keeping our spending within 5%. Lets not do stupid shit like that, 'kay?

Given that we now know that the morale damage from the spiders will wear off over time, I think it would make sense to get them and have our forces conduct battlefield exercises alongside them, so that they get used to them. We can avoid deploying the spiders in combat until their handlers and the rest of our troops will only have minimal or nonexistent morale penalties. At the end we'll have a potent new force.

Plan to get a lot relics from Saurus' plus some artifacts for our most combat capable heroes and marshals. Couldn't care less about spiders and don't really think they'll be a big detail, so might as well buy them. A noticeable hit to our EM income, though.

One correction, the max for Carnosaurs is 200 and they cost 100 credits each so while the price is the same it should be *200

Therapy dog
Common name: Therapy dog.
Scientific name: Canem Compatientes
Nicknames: Man's best friend, The People's companion, Good Boy
Visual Reference:

The Canem Compatientes, is a descendant of the dogs brought by the original colonists of Avernus. While some of those dogs eventually evolved into massive wolves that stalk the plains, harking back to their feral ancestors, the Canem Compatientes was inspired by a more modern usage. The high death rate of the initial colonists resulted in many psychological issues, from ptsd to survivor's guilt to depression. Though they swiftly moved to orbit, the psychological support and companionship of their canine companions proved highly effective at providing moral support.

Modern therapy dogs are a different breed entirely. The result of over 20000 years of continuous evolution, they resemble the ancient Corgi breed, they are naturally highly empathic, and an active calming ability channeled through their fur that tends to relax psykers in the vicinity, although it can be easily resisted with active effort. The result is an animal that excels in helping others overcome their trauma, and can provide notable support during a psyker's training. These abilities are naturally strengthened upon the creation of a familiar bond.

@Durin I made a thing!

You know after thinking about I have realised that the old guard of Avernus are going to be like the grandparents of today complaining about phones and washing machines where they had to use newspapers and wash basins.

"Why are you complaining about not getting a pulse rifle! An impaler is still going to do meaningful damage if you use it right. You do not get to complain until you are face to face with a chaos space marine with a lasgun you little s@#%!"
