Going to go against the grain here. The storm may have caused a shake-up on the mountain and it may profit us to appear there right now. With family locked in it's not like they'll be neglected again.

Kinda sad that Liling's become decreasingly intimidating. Now it just feels like she's trying too hard. I think that even these types of vaguely ominous threats are the kinda thing to pass up to the boss though.

Not sure she's thinking in terms of changing things. Think it's more a follow the leader 'Grandpappy hates you all so I will too' Draco Malfoy type of thinking, and she's getting her kicks in the only way she can.

Because the Outer Sect Mountain basically had an etch-a-sketch taken to it after the Winter's Muse Tribulation, which means any caches she and her side left behind there is fuckin' gone now.

More importantly, the Cai Faction remnants are better organized, which meant that they were a lot more likely to be the ones who picked up the prizes from the 'Impromptu Trials'. Likely got a solid credit booster too, and ended up defusing Thunderdome on account of blizzard.

If we actually accidentallied a faction again by doing Ling Qi things I am going to be amused as hell.

It's not her fault most antagonists in xianxia experience villain decay as the protagonist's cultivation improves. Later we might say "Who?" Like we have with so many others.

I mean, if she was simply trying her hand at schadenfreude, she would have gone to CRX and not us because Ling Qi gives approximately zero fucks about some randos.

I'm hoping this is because she's actually trying to help us subtly and/or disagrees with the rest of her family over this because it sounds so much more interesting than the alternative of "Liling is salty and wants revenge again".
