Part of it is she's the Joestar that failed.
Johnathan defeated DIO twice with the third being a draw that sealed dio in the sea for a hundred years with only a week or two of training.
Joseph took down all 4 pillar men including the Ultimate life form Kars whom to this day is one of if not the strongest bad guy in Jojo's. Even after he retires he's still around in parts 3-4 and doing good work even when suffering from dementa.
Her dad took down DIO once and for all and a ton of evil stand users besides, took part in 4 parts of Jojo and was fighting the good fight that entire time. Yes he was not the best dad but I think we can assume he was distant because he's been constantly running around putting out fires well after his prime.
Joskue while being only in a single part was a guy with a heart of gold that was completely loveable and while he's not my favorite nor did his part have the biggest effect he still did his job well.
Giriono himself has both an impressive track record in fights, as a character and holds the title of " most broken overpowered stand user"
Joylen... she's the only one who failed to save the day. In the end it was the people around her that stoped the Preist from getting his way. That's a big black mark right there. Besides that... maybe it has something to do with the art of her part. I've always been more a fan of the earlier parts art style and part 6 just wasn't good enough to make up for the artistic change IMO. I realize that's subjective and really it's not a complaint against her but rather her part that might color my opinion on her.
I don't hate her too much she's just my least favorite Jojo.
Well, gotta agree with the black mark on Jolyne's record. Although she took down most of the stand users of part 6, so it kinda counters for me, and I actually like her art in part 6 (hell, Jotaro's design is the best he ever looked in my eyes. I mean, that purple, green and yellow is so fucking beautiful), but the only times I dislike the art was with DIO, since I like Jonathan best as he is depicted in Part 1: titanic gentle giant with the most golden of hearts. Seeing the body of Jonathan Joestar so skinny just doesn't seem right to me, especially with how it was seen in part 3, where DIO post!Joseph's blood looks so fucking massive he makes Jotaro seem small.
Okay, okay, sorry about the rant. Doesn't really fit in with everything else.
Also, I can't really blame her for Made in Heaven, that stand sliced Jotaro in fucking half without even sweating. Even with time stop, Jotaro lost (of course because he had his Za Warudo shorter than 5 seconds and he wasted his chance to kill Pucci to save Jolyne).
Emporio just had Weather Report's power which was super effective against Made in Heaven because time was sped up.
The only guy who could legitimately and fairy win against MiH is Giorno because of his bullshit power of GER, the bullshit power of them all. (Loved the Chariot Requiem fight, hate GER with a passion)
But Jonathan, even if he won the fight against Dio, he lost too and he is still my favorite Joestar. Jolyne lost the fight and won the war. The same argument you used against Jolyne can easily be used against Jonathan.
Also, it's funny how Jonathan had one week of training in Hamon and he was probably on the same level as young Joseph. Imagine what he could have done with the same amount of years that William Zepelli had to train, as well as a stand? What if his Hermit Purple 2 (fuck it, I'm calling it The Passion) was like Tusk and could evolve to an insane broken ability?
Also, I would have wished to see a scene that shows all of the dead characters in heaven before the universe is reset. One last scene with Jonathan and Erina sitting together with Speedwagon, William and Cesar Zeppelli, Kakyoin, Abdul and Iggy welcoming Jotaro, Jolyne, Ermes and Annasui and so on.
It's never gonna happen, but I can dream damn it!
