Resilience and Wood look like they are handily in the lead, and so I can go vote for some other things I've been considering. This would be a perfect time for Ling Qi to start researching how dreams interact with reality, like the Bloody Moon Dream, due to how powerfully the Bloody Moon Dream affected her. Figuring out arts that deal with Dreams would be a good start.
Moon as an element because it works really well with the idea of dreams.
Summons because I like having summons as a secondary method to tieing up people which allows us to keep rolling forward with our more powerful, but time-consuming abilities.

Well, it seems rather futile to vote for any Elements, as the usual suspects all have a decent lead. Darkness and Wood seem most promising for this, but I think it is much more important to get the right arts, not arguing whether we want them to be darkness or moon.
I would like to get some offensive summon art at some point, but after a discord discussion, I think this is not the vote for it. So, full defence:

Speculation:
Sixiang has been distracted and unresponsive because they are in the process of constructing a semi-permanent dream pad for hanging out with Ling Qi when she sleeps. Sixiang is motivated by their misgivings about the Bloody Moon dream, so they feel like cultivating an environment where Ling Qi is shielded to some degree from her own nightmares stemming from the experience is the least they should do.
It's probably somewhat above Sixiang's weight class though, which means getting outside help for it. Could be costing a pretty dream penny to do. Upswing is if spirits with real muscles are getting involved, could be the dream environment that gets made qualifies as a cultivation site. I'm thinking... has the special quality to add on top of the use of other cultivation sites, doesn't speed up cultivation but does give skill exp bonuses to skills under the 'social' heading(plus dance), and applies randomly/inconsistently to qualifying cultivation. You know, dream-ish.

FVM originally is seen to be Water/Darkness, it's Ling Qi's familiarity with the element of Music (that is, Music qi) that lets her sub a meridian. Cold or other esoteric elements could be similar.
Spirits don't learn Arts. Arts are human codifications of qi flows in imitation of spirit abilities.
