Part of it is she's the Joestar that failed.

Johnathan defeated DIO twice with the third being a draw that sealed dio in the sea for a hundred years with only a week or two of training.

Joseph took down all 4 pillar men including the Ultimate life form Kars whom to this day is one of if not the strongest bad guy in Jojo's. Even after he retires he's still around in parts 3-4 and doing good work even when suffering from dementa.

Her dad took down DIO once and for all and a ton of evil stand users besides, took part in 4 parts of Jojo and was fighting the good fight that entire time. Yes he was not the best dad but I think we can assume he was distant because he's been constantly running around putting out fires well after his prime.

Joskue while being only in a single part was a guy with a heart of gold that was completely loveable and while he's not my favorite nor did his part have the biggest effect he still did his job well.

Giriono himself has both an impressive track record in fights, as a character and holds the title of " most broken overpowered stand user"

Joylen... she's the only one who failed to save the day. In the end it was the people around her that stoped the Preist from getting his way. That's a big black mark right there. Besides that... maybe it has something to do with the art of her part. I've always been more a fan of the earlier parts art style and part 6 just wasn't good enough to make up for the artistic change IMO. I realize that's subjective and really it's not a complaint against her but rather her part that might color my opinion on her.

I don't hate her too much she's just my least favorite Jojo.

Well, gotta agree with the black mark on Jolyne's record. Although she took down most of the stand users of part 6, so it kinda counters for me, and I actually like her art in part 6 (hell, Jotaro's design is the best he ever looked in my eyes. I mean, that purple, green and yellow is so fucking beautiful), but the only times I dislike the art was with DIO, since I like Jonathan best as he is depicted in Part 1: titanic gentle giant with the most golden of hearts. Seeing the body of Jonathan Joestar so skinny just doesn't seem right to me, especially with how it was seen in part 3, where DIO post!Joseph's blood looks so fucking massive he makes Jotaro seem small.

Okay, okay, sorry about the rant. Doesn't really fit in with everything else.

Also, I can't really blame her for Made in Heaven, that stand sliced Jotaro in fucking half without even sweating. Even with time stop, Jotaro lost (of course because he had his Za Warudo shorter than 5 seconds and he wasted his chance to kill Pucci to save Jolyne).
Emporio just had Weather Report's power which was super effective against Made in Heaven because time was sped up.

The only guy who could legitimately and fairy win against MiH is Giorno because of his bullshit power of GER, the bullshit power of them all. (Loved the Chariot Requiem fight, hate GER with a passion)

But Jonathan, even if he won the fight against Dio, he lost too and he is still my favorite Joestar. Jolyne lost the fight and won the war. The same argument you used against Jolyne can easily be used against Jonathan.

Also, it's funny how Jonathan had one week of training in Hamon and he was probably on the same level as young Joseph. Imagine what he could have done with the same amount of years that William Zepelli had to train, as well as a stand? What if his Hermit Purple 2 (fuck it, I'm calling it The Passion) was like Tusk and could evolve to an insane broken ability?

Also, I would have wished to see a scene that shows all of the dead characters in heaven before the universe is reset. One last scene with Jonathan and Erina sitting together with Speedwagon, William and Cesar Zeppelli, Kakyoin, Abdul and Iggy welcoming Jotaro, Jolyne, Ermes and Annasui and so on.
It's never gonna happen, but I can dream damn it!

[x]A NEW CHALLENGER APPEARS!

I will never not vote for the mystery box. This is my one true weakness.

[X]....if Mizore isn't hanging around you for once, then she probably wants some time to herself. And since your Newspaper Club friends are hopefully busy having a deep and meaningful dialogue with each other..... you're best served socially to go hang out with one of your Mechanics clubmates.

With jostar luck one of the Mechanic members may be a stand user.

[X] Go back to your dorm room and....
-[X] meditate, that you may improve your control over your Stand. ....for which you apparently just pulled a name out of your ass without even realizing.

We know we're gonna get plenty of use out of SP, so let's get training instead of starting new side quests.

Okay, here is what I counted up until now:

6 votes for hanging with mechanics club.

5 votes for a new challenger.

4 votes for SP training.

3 votes for studying.

Even if I vote against the other option, I still hope we get something like training our stand and discovering time stop rather than face a new opponent so quickly.

We're going to have to agree to disagree on the art of part 6. Jotaro looks like he lost 40% of his muscle mass and his get up always struck me as incredibly tacky compared to his other parts.

The fact he even got to that point is the problem. But I'm not going to argue that anymore.

The thing is by all accounts Johnathan won. He beat DIO with No Hamon effectively killed him .... only for someone to coincidentally stumble upon him and give DIO just enough strength to survive and escape the day before Johnathan searches the place for him. Then he beats DIO and his army again mostly by himself landing a lethal blow and blasted him off a clif. Against anyone else even a fucking piller man that would've been it but DIO somehow was able to rip off his head chuck it survive the fall and somehow miraculously had a minion stumble upon him to rescue his ass.

Then DIO ambushed him with a surprise DBZ style eye beams to the lungs effectively killing him before he can react siced a few hundred Xombies at him and he still managed to save his Wife his Son and future Daguter in law, kill all the zombies and dink the ship to the bottom of the ocean.

By all rights Dio should be dead hell how he survived is still a massive plot hole as his coffin was used to save his wife and the baby.

Johnathan did everything more or less by himself The biggest contribution anyone had was the good baron training him and then giving him a Hamon power up.

Joylin has a far larger and better support group to work with.

As for what Johnathan could have done? Well stand arrows would only be discovered while after he dies of old age So stands will not be a thing for him as for his Hamon. Yeah it's Freakishly strong but i'd still give it to young Joseph because Jonathan is far stronger ( like seriously he can arm wrestle a pillar man and break their arms like twigs.) but Joseph runs circles around him in tactics and unique applications.

For example Johnathan would never be able to predict the clacker volley return trick. And that if it connects could put him down for the count.

The fact he even got to that point is the problem. But I'm not going to argue that anymore..

Pucci only got that far because Araki gave him plot armor. I don't think he should have won against Weather Report or he should have just been impaled by the Spear of Speedwagon (forged from the bones of Speedwagon himself! Just kidding).

But I agree that we disagree on the part 6 art. I like Jotaro's stylish clothes, but not the loss his and Star Platinum's muscle mass, and aside from the lipstick colors, I liked everyone else's design (except for DIO, for reasons I mentioned above), with Pucci having an awesome design, waaay better than Diavolo as well as Diavolo 2.0, aka Annasui.

Sorry, I'm not from the US, so what's KH3? I might have a different equivilant of it in my country.
...It's a matter of life and death, soul asundered and cast from the light. Madness consuming your sanity and will. A matter that put your intellegence and sense into question.

Oh, Kingdom Hearts III! Now I get it. It's so stupid of me to not get it before. Thought it was some sort of a college exam. My bad guy, sorry for looking like an idiot. I just never played Kingdom Hearts before.

I think giving our Stand a name and bashing our head against a wall of time until it breaks is enough training with it for one day, so let's go grunt friendily at people.

FYI, you don't need to hand count this stuff. The Thread Tools button on the top of the page has a vote tally thing built in.

One more reason to not like Jolyne: she was dumb enough to get caught playing with herself. In prison. By a guard.
