I am going to ask again cause I am really wondering why someone who in many aspects is as good as a chuunin and in some aspects exceeds them would have so much trouble.

So I was wondering how was the mc's fight against sasuke so hard? I mean I am looking at their stats and he has expert skills which put him at the peak of a chuunin in some aspects and even better in some others. Daisuke should be as strong as a chuunin easily while still an academy student. Hes getting to the level of a jonin. I just don't see how sasuke could compete?/

Sasuke was at the same level, here. Not in the exact same categories as we had, but his own stats were said to be comparable - he'd been Number One for a long time and hasn't been slacking off. Remember - after the Uchiha Massacre, Daisuke kicked Sasuke's butt in sparring, then lit a fire under Sasuke's ass and gave him a method of channeling all that hatred, grief and anger: Self-Improvement. Our presence and dominance in spars prevented Sasuke from getting complacent, and our timely words of wisdom were really taken to heart.

Not to mention the two are hindered by their Attributes - Attributes are scaled in relation to the character's age. Skills play a part, but Attributes ended up being a limiting factor which prevent the full extent of those Skills from being expressed.

So, Sasuke and Daisuke were on the same playing field. Both were exceptional, both were driven and both knew things outside the curriculum. It just came down to a matter of strategy, tactics, and ingenuity.

Also as a child we don't actually have all the techniques needed to weaponize the skills. Neither does he, granted.

Not a lot Chunin Ninjutsu or Genjutsu skill can do if you don't actually know any jutsus which stretch your skill to the limits. If you had the technical savvy to learn a B-rank ninjutsu, but you only know D-ranked stuff then you're still largely fighting like a Genin.

Daisuke doesn't know how to access them, nor understand what they do/are. So they're not on the Character Sheet. You'll have to trawl through the Achievements to see which one's we've got.

that's not completely correct. He doesn't know what they do, but he CAN change which title is equipped. I think we have the genin title equipped right now.

[X] Look through the list of achievements carefully and note those which could be done relatively easily for later, spend the rest of the time trying out Hercules punch against training dummies.
