Game of the Year: A Naruto Quest

[X] Answer truthfully. You'll tell everyone what you saw.
-[X] You were told by someone whose approval you once looked for that you make everything actively worse just by existing.
In this situation this would definitely be my greatest fear. I feel like I'm real, so what does it matter? If I'm not real I doubt l'll ever find out, so I just don't care. What I DO care about, is the people around me and the situations they're in. If I made everything worse, just by being born? I don't like that thought.

-[X] You were attacked by your childhood protector who tried to kill you before you entered the Academy, and this time he was going to finish the job.

he speaks how how the world is doomed because of Hinata interfering with Team 7's chemistry.
Interesting that even if the memories have faded somewhere in his mind Daisuke's subconscious seems to understand the threats that his butterflies are potentially creating.

"As Shinobi, as a team," Kurenai-sensei explains, "we must know each other. We must have no secrets. We must know each other as closely as we know ourselves. And there is no place better to start then here. So tell me, what did you see while under the Genjutsu?"

There's no way this will win but I want to make the point.

[X] You refuse to answer. Some things must stay private.

We've known Kurenai for what a day? During which she has done nothing but give us a bullshit task and use a massively scarring Genjutsu on us. She hasn't earned our trust and she doesn't get it purely because she happened to be the one picked to train us out of a hat. She has to earn our trust, we have to earn the trust of our teammates and they will earn our trust.

There's absolutely no way that every ninja Kurenai has worked with knows her greatest fear, and I notice that she hasn't been forthcoming with her own yet.

The team have to trust that we have their back and they need to have ours. That's something that's built up over time not forced upon you by an authority figure forcing you through trauma together.

I've always preferred the route that saw us not going down the stereotypical 'team is family' route and Kurenai isn't exactly winning me over with this stunt. If she wants to know she can order us to tell them and completely defy the point of the trust exercise.

Edit: Just to clarify, I would have had no issue telling the team about any of the fears but being manipulated and emotionally attacked by Kurenai makes me want to spite her

People seem very accepting of the fact we just had a horrific genjutsu used against us and then asked to completely trust this person. Am I missing something?

Yeah. I'll check in every now and then but I'm not going to vote. I'll probably come back if we get a game over, just to see what went wrong and how. I just have no interest in our current team and dislike how if we're to pass we need to reveal stuff that heavy about us from the get go. Would have preferred the bell test to this honestly.

I hope we properly convey the seriousness of our fear whatever wins.

Dai: I was told by someone I looked up to that I made the world actively worse just by existing.
Mariko: So... you were told the truth?
Dai: Very funny. What did you see that made you vomit then?
Mariko: We were married.
Dai: I immediately regret asking and fear this jutsu even more. Kiba?
Kiba: I saw you married to my sister.
Mariko: That must have been awful.
Dai: I am not that bad, am I?
Kurenai: Look at it this way, it is normal for great ninjas to feature in other people's nightmare so that means you are up to a great start!
Dai: Well, at least you didn't put Akamaru in a genjutsu. That is something, I guess.
Kurenai: Actually, I tried but it didn't work. That pup is fearless! Nothing like you guys.
Dai: Is it too late to go back to the academy?
Kurenai: Yes. You are all mine now.
