Just cause I don't really see Daisuke willingly being mediocre this time, he's seen what that's like in his first life after all. While Sasuke does it for revenge and Naruto does it to be hokage. I just feel Daisuke just wants to be the best, to really prove himself to himself.

It's one thing to try and fail, but willingly giving up halfway? No way.

partly to round out and kinks in our education that weren't fully polished and we have pretty good skills for a genin already tho we are on insane difficulty I feel that the bonus from the achievement would be worth it.

Like wow, holy fuck I'm actually upset we didn't beat the living shit out of Naruto because that was scummy as fuck man.

Impersonating us to try and catfish Sakura is actually... kind of really fucking horrible. Thank fuck I guess that nobody knew what he was saying to Sakura cos that rapey behaviour could've really ruined our relationship with her, and I think the group would've beat the ever loving shit out of him and revamp bullying him.

This was a canon scene.

I don't think it is egregiously bad - they are way too young to have any sexual actions, so it isn't going to be rapey. Identity theft is still scummy, but I'm not seeing it as that bad.

According to Vesvius, the prank was about making us look bad. It's not like naruto's plan was to start making out with her, he was trying to make a poor impression of us in front of the class.

They were way too young to have had any sexual stuff (and according to the QM Naruto didn't intend to do that stuff in this scene), so I don't see it as bad. They're already training to be killers, and impersonation is a traditional ninja tactic. Even Orochimaru used the same tactic.

I mean, it is wrong to do it to an ally, but I don't see it as bad. At worst it would be a practical reminder about how ninja work.

I do wish we'd started even half an year after Naruto graduates - he's in a much better state mentally then. Here we're encountering him at his worst - after he was an optimistic six-year old at the Academy and before Sasuke and Kakashi help him grow up* .

*this is part of why I don't want to be Rookie - Naruto could empathise with Sasuke, since they were both alone with no family. This led to both of them improving positively (before Orochimaru fucked Sasuke). Sasuke learned to accept help and Naruto became a helpful teammate. Without Sasuke / Kakashi on his team his growth might not be as good as it is in canon.

12 ish is the start of puberty, so not rapey but using our face to act out a crush is ... ew.

Also, pointing out that he was using this to publically embarrass us and possible damage our relationship with our friends just kind of makes it even more supremely shitty for me.

Why are people assuming that us being top of the class will put us on team 7? Both Naruto and Sauske are earmarked for Kakashi's team regardless of their ranks. Vesvius has also said each team will be 2/1 gender split. Which means the 3rd person on team 7 has to be a girl. We were never going to be on team 7, unless we picked a girl in character creation.
