I'm hoping we will get at least 1 friend with us on the team though, preferably Ino.

Glad Naruto didn't damage the fan, though he could have screwed up our relationship with our friends. If his henge was that good though, couldn't he do the same with the fan? Or is that not possible?

Ino is probably unlikely because of the whole Ino-Shika-Chō tradition.

I'm happy not to be rookie of the year if it gives us more possibilities to interact with other characters, canon or oc, if we go for rookie of the year then another spot on our three man genin team will be filled by Naruto or Shikamaru or another low scoring student. Not to mention the whole deal with kunoichi of the year and how that can impact our three man squad selection.

This will get us a sensei and possible get Naruto someone other than Kakashi to train him. Kakashi seemed like a pretty shit teacher who mainly focused on Sasuke to the exclusion of the rest of the team.
 
Huh, Sakura seemed pretty happy to have Daisuke pay attention to her and ask her out. Was she just happy to beat Ino or does she actually like him?

Not sure I care about rankings but Ino's our bestie and looking to be top kunoichi. This is probs our best shot of being on her team. Sasuke's the one who'd get Kakashi though, I think and Asuma always seemed more Shika's sensei than the other two's...
