Game of the Year: A Naruto Quest

You're splitting the vote with that. You need to have the full proper vote, which means simply adding in the "No." and "You'll let this one go.".

Well if this will help after Uchiha massarce Kakashi was only Konoha nin with sharingan making him most suitable to train Sasuke and was Minatos student making him suitable to train Naruto so there is that possibility of us replacing Sakura.

It is after the Uchiha indecent, we had a vote on how to deal with Sasuke after it. Not sure I see us being on a team with Sasuke if we make 1st rank though. Putting the number 1 and 2 student on the same team seems unbalanced.

Our friends will definitely be supportive. They won't reject us just because we trained our hardest to get to the top. Sure we'll have three months where we are focused mostly on training, but what is three months compared to years of friendship?

Good point, I'm in.

Entirely for best rewards. Screw the little shit that is naruto.

We already know we are one of the best. Achievements be damned.

i really don't like the flavour text, i mean it shouldn't change our personality but still.

Give me my Jabari/Yui team or give me death!

@Vesvius are we going to get another chance to look into helping Sakura with her insecurity? I'm worried it is going to be overlooked with everything else going on.

Well looks like diplomacy works, and we did get through to him about the fan. Looks like he took it to try and get closer to Sakura.

Oh Vesvius, this is a tough one. On the one hand, top spot is what we want, what we should strive for. Would we really be who we are if we tried for anything less? On the other...Naruto. Konoha's number one hyperactive knucklehead ninja...he's going to be a headache if we are teamed with him. His taijutsu is nothing to write home about but he is, if anything, a powerhouse. Boundless stamina and neigh endless chakra reserves pairs quite well with our overwhelming offence style. If we could mesh our styles especially with the third member of our team, there's nothing to say it can't be a solid team.

But if we are rookie of the year, a cool seemingly dispassionate taijutsu expert, who Naruto has attempted to impersonate to get close to Sakura, I feel like we will be taking the place of Sasuke narrative wise. On the other hand, we are more level headed than Sasuke (though not by much) and I can imagine at least trying to help him improve, but as of right now it doesn't seem like he wants to improve.

I'm torn. Anyone have any thoughts to add?

We are more level headed (see us talking and reasoning even if authoritative then going straight for the attack), also we are more open then Sasuke by far. For one thing we are more likely to assist our teammates and work together by our nature (see how we made sure to include our friends in training). That even assumes that formula is sacred and not something flexible (I can see Kakashi wanting both Sasuke and Naruto on his team, so we could be us, Sakura and one other or Ino could end as rookie of the year as she is pushing harder so who knows).

I'd rather maximize the chance of not getting Naruto as a teammate. Not because of any dislike of him, but because I want to interact with Ves's OCs.

That being said my guess is the thread is going to go 100% MAXIMUM NO CHILL!

So basically Naruto took our fan to hit on Sakura and hang out later with her.....and Sakura was liking what she thought Daisuke was doing.

Yeah let's always try to hit the top spot. Even if we don't make it we'll get some gains. Can still hang and help our friends. Help the Ino and Sakura situation.

@Vesvius was there no XP gain or has that not been updated yet?

Also in general as a QoL improvement I have added conditional formatting to the Stats XP sheet to highlight cells that increased from the previous update (though some of those can be from fanwork XP). I also from the first two rows on the rewards trackers so that you can always see how much is open and what each column is for no matter how far you scroll down. (which is currently 450 XP).

The achievement is sort of a capstone to our academy years - it's still relatively early, but it probably gives a better reward than most others available now.

It's also probably pretty hard to get, objectively speaking. We're only a significant contender in this life because we've been training incredibly hard with Gai since before the Academy. If we come back again next life, we might find it harder to get. (Especially if we go for a social spec or something.)

I'm hoping we will get at least 1 friend with us on the team though, preferably Ino.

Glad Naruto didn't damage the fan, though he could have screwed up our relationship with our friends. If his henge was that good though, couldn't he do the same with the fan? Or is that not possible?
