Game of the Year: A Naruto Quest

@Vesvius does anything translate from one life to the next?

Like, we know he keeps at least partial memories and since some of the achievement rewards unlock different eras for future play, it seems like he keeps any achievements. But what about xp, does he get to keep it or some of it and spend it in his next life, assuming there is a next life?

Just asking, because on v. Hard/insane difficulty, it won't be long before he bites it.

Toddler vs grown samurai folks, that's the difficulty we're playing at.

That's a great question. And one I gleefully will not answer!

Somethings are going to stay a surprise.

That, or wanting to prevent the players from suicide-resetting without having to actually punish them for dying at all. Highly unlikely you'd force us to start over at Square 1 every time, since that's a quick way to lose player interest. Like, why bother training him up if all those Updates and Reward XP mean nothing once Daisuke dies?

[X] Ino's not saying much about her issues with Mariko and her friends, but that doesn't mean you haven't noticed them. Ino is your best friend and this is pissing her off. You should help. Somehow.

You can only choose to pursue an achievement that is currently in the menu. Even if other achievements exist that haven't been added yet, and they do, can't shoot for them quite yet. And you can try and combine stuff sure. But remember it may not always work out as you have planned. And just to reiterate, I am not a fan of write ins that try and do multiple things covered in default votes, the ones that try and have your cake and eat it too. So if one of those wins, don't expect it to go smoothly.

Easier said then done honestly. Most people aren't taught how to find and manipulate their chakra until a specific age for good reason, and Daisuke doesn't have a clan in his corner to ignore that guideline. It's doable I guess, but it'd take a lot more then I think you think it does.

As far as formatting, delete the top line and the - on the second so that the second is the entire vote, and you're set.
I look at it as getting Gai to find someone if he can't do it himself... and I see 0 reasons why he can't I mean we will just ask him to do it for the purpose of training even harder to better embrace our youth.

We may even offer to wear a green jumpsuit during training times if we have to! :p

[x] There's a whole list of achievements in your menu, just waiting for you to solve them! The last time you went out and pursued one, you found Gai-Sensei. What'll you find if you go after another one?

Independent Study
Anyone can stick with the basics, but it takes a true technician to seek out new knowledge.
Unlock Condition: Raise a technique that is either self-created or learned from a method beyond instruction from your sensei to 'Intermediate'.
Reward: ???
Status: LOCKED

This is the best, because the self-created technique can also be levelled to Master for getting another achievement in the future. It's like taking one now and building the foundations for the next in one leap.

I can make a guess : remember how Reward XP is tracked differently from Normal XP? I think we lose all XP gained from regular training until the point we 'reloaded' as, but retain Reward XP since it was earned by the players directly.

It's the only reason I can think of that Ves would bother tracking Reward XP separately from Normal XP.

I really want to climb the ranking, but I am not interested in studying propganda history.

@Vesvius Can we do a write in to hit the books, but ignore history?

We should fix this before it's irreperable tarnished, Though Us smelling bad may be an issue
Maybe we should pursue our own personal achievements, I mean they aren't too hard to do right?

[] It's been a while since you went out into Konoha and just looked for new quests. Most of what you do is old repeating quests that you found ages ago. There's got to be some new stuff out there. Time to find it!

Quests may also net us unforeseen gains that will surly come in handy.

Edit: Sorry but I've been changing my mind as to what to tackle first, Personal achievement is what I'm going for.

Those who don't mixmax are trash, but those who abandon their friends are worse than trash.

Also, I think Trying2Social might lead to some wacky and emotional hijinx!

Let's help our only friend........... that's really sad now that I've thought it.

...no. Just, just no.

That's like saying "I would like to get straight A's in school, but I'm going to purposefully go out of my way to tank the class that counts for forty percent of my overall grade." Actually, no, that's not like saying. That is saying that. If you want to hit books, you're learning your history.

(During the weekend so we aren't incisively asking to go to the rest room.)
----[X]I Demand Euphoria!
(You can keep this up by reading constantly)
-----[X]Well Rested
(Keep taking naps)
One achievement please. Thank you!

You can't climb in class rankings if you don't know the history. Tests don't work like that. If I could ace a history test by not reading about history then I probably would have gotten A's for life.
Practice cheating?

Oi, we're ninja. Our lives depend on having an accurate idea of what the world around us is like so we can make informed decisions in the field. That propaganda is going to be very much weighted towards reality, to ensure both that we question it less (since we're liable to get training in detecting bullshit) and that we don't screw ourselves over down the line.

[X] Ino's not saying much about her issues with Mariko and her friends, but that doesn't mean you haven't noticed them. They're being petty, and there's no better revenge than living well! Help Ino leave those girls in the dust by studying together and training with Gai Sensei!
