The person who took it is our mysterious helper. Obviously any 'combat' here will be level appropriate, and it's meant as a tutorial. Also, just because this is a game doesn't mean there aren't consequences for putting the quest off.

This way we encounter the mysterious figure (if there is one, it could be a game mechanic making items disappear upon quest completion) on our own terms, as much as such a thing is possible as a toddler.

I'm angry with you Ves, for making me more invested in baby mode than getting out of it. :|

Honestly, I think getting another boon before the combat tutorials would be helpful.
