Omri and Agneyastra should be with Magnostadt's Board of Advisors, the ruling council. As mom negotiates in our name, we're fine to do something else. So, uhh... I'll actually probably echo what was said above: how come we just go off to shop? What about the guy that met us? Is he coming with, or are we allowed unsupervised into the city? What about people who wanted to meet us, like the rulers of the place?
Thinking is an action. Jade now has memories of herself considering radical self-modification and only holding off because it wouldn't be sufficiently permanent.
Consideration of options that Jade wouldn't otherwise, discarded only on practical grounds, is 100% a different type of impulsive.
Actually, yeah, I am surprised we aren't getting a guide / minder/ bodyguard from the locals. We are both a highly dangerous personally and highly politically important guest. I would expect us to have an escort always. We might get another minder, but that would actually help us right now.
@Alivaril: Actually, can we just clear our mind with a direct burst of Blue or do we have to channel Blue for a moment?
Very much so. Consideration of options that Jade wouldn't otherwise, discarded only on practical grounds, is 100% a different type of impulsive.
The consequences Jade considered were sorely, horrifically lacking. The true consequences of modifying the minds of ourselves and others were not genuinely considered at all. Much like Sidhe did not consider the true consequences when she rechanneled, what was it, to test if she could get away with it? Can you properly call that a calculated course of action? I say no! Not in the least....how... is that impulsive? Impulsiveness is essentially acting without thinking about consequences or thinking through how you're going to accomplish what you're doing, and Blue Jade very much did the opposite of that.
Do we still not know anything about the Sparkles? IIRC there was mention of some odd soul stuff happening near when we met her but I don't think we ever followed up on that?Embrace the sparkles Jade. You decided to offer friendship to Nanoha and give her magic and adventure
The sparkles are forever.
Untill they're not.

In my defense, the snort was in response to LmaoYo, please cut down on the scorn directed at others. Part of having an Unreliable Narrator is interpreting the events actually occurring, which means differences in opinion.
Not the same as impulsive, IMHO. Besides:The consequences Jade considered were sorely, horrifically lacking.
The consideration of self-modification was like Red!Jade calling normal Jade weak—it stemmed from Jade's self-esteem issues.
We didn't see Blue-Jade's entire thought-process, so we don't know what factors would be taken into account. We can't just assume to know how she thinks....why did she need to consider those true consequences when the immediate clear consequence of "normal Jade will immediately reverse this" was sufficient reason not to do it?
Yeah lets not let super selfish mode dictate relationship in their formative stage.
Actually, yeah, I am surprised we aren't getting a guide / minder/ bodyguard from the locals. We are both a highly dangerous personally and highly politically important guest. I would expect us to have an escort always.
I disagree. It would lose many details about how and what information was presented, and in what order. Take a look at the update you mentioned: aside from the differences at the start, Agneyastra interrupted Jade and we had a short discussion about Linker Cores, and then Jade described Nanoha's potential ascention really differently to hide what it actually entails. The loss of such detail is simply unacceptable.@Alivaril after re-reading a bit I have a request/suggestion: If one character is just catching other characters up with what already happened on-screen*, then gloss over it.
Instead of writing out all of the dialogue that doesn't particularly add anything, use something along the lines of "When Jade brought everybody up to speed, Nanoha raised the point that ...." or "There was a long uncomfortable silence among her friends after Jade summarized what had happened, even though she had left out the most embarrassing details"
*Example: repeating almost everything Neph told Jade
