I mean, Kurumu should be as interested in resolving this whole love-triangle-thing as anyone else, right? Moka and her are supposed to be friends after all. And in the manga she did espouse a harem solution (although to be fair, that might have been because she realized she couldn't "win" on her own).
This other thing... sounds like it might become the Next Big Problem, so I vote for nipping it in the bud before things can get bad. The rest of the gang are all mature enough to take care of their own damn problems, trying to micromanage them seems a bit insulting. And while I'd really have liked some character moments with some of the mechanics club people, I think the potential Next Big Problem takes priority.
