Speaking of how long do we think it'd take us to build one? IIRC at conservative estimates its meant to be 30KM long possibly longer?

I get the feeling it falls under impractical at this stage.
We're likely going to get better ship-building tech from Roskilde. It may allow us to build a Deus fast enough that there's a chance we can get it before Lin's death. Depends on whether he got Burning Bright before or after the 350-year lifespan prediction was given.

Twas an experimental yard, so no guarantee, but I'm more worried about the expense of building it.

Munitorum

SLOT A - Year 3
-Y3: Helguard Tithe: First Stage

this I have up till I run the numbers we are running low on AM and this will take most of what we are bringing in.

Void Command
SLOT A (Construct) - Year 3
-Y3:Construct: Defence Monitors
We need to make sure that Avenus is secure before deploying the Fleet.

Administratum

SLOT A
-Y5: Expand Mine: Belisama

we need to do this. It will temporarily make us the biggest metal producer in the trust when finished.

Diplomacy
SLOT A - Year 1
-Y1: Make a Request (Assist Ridcully in his Research)
-Y2: Investigate (Sub-Sector Cobalt)
-Y3: Re-Examine (Master of Sanctity)
-Y4: Investigate (Nyne)
-Y5: Investigate (Conservative faction of the Admech)
Areatha May be able to help in research for Ridicully it depends on rolls. Everything else I am willing to change if you get enough people.

Arbites
None because we are full

AdMech

SLOT A - Year 4 (Biologis)
-Y4: Complete Examination (Avernite Golden Bird )
--DOUBLE DOWN YEAR 4
SLOT B - Year 2-5 (Explorator, potentially)
-Y2/Y3/Y4/Y5: Hyper Battle Cruiser Design: Ragnarok Cannon
Ok doing the Ragnarok cannon cruiser because we do not know when he is coming back and we can really use the ship.

Ministorum

SLOT A - Year 1
-Y1: Nature of (Tzeentch)
-- DOUBLE DOWN YEAR 1
SLOT B - Year 1
-Y1: Nature of (Tzeentch)

I want this done and we need to do all of them before the Saint Lin dies. This gives a 66 chance of success. Which we need since there is no reroll for this. Created gods has a 16 chance with one double down so we need to either double on that or get Ridicully to divine on created gods to help.

Astra Telepathica
SLOT A - Year 4 (Xavier)
SLOT A - Year 4 (Xavier)
-Y4: Take over "Siren Rune of Focus: All Psykers" from Tamia, 1 year penalty
SLOT B - Year 4 (Tamia)
-Y4: Rune of Warding: Warp Drive Interaction
-- DOUBLE DOWN YEAR 4
SLOT C - Free Divination
-Y?: Greater Divination (Eldar Choice)
Ok we can have aria do blank training next turn for better results. I got Xavier on Alkahestry since we need it and it provides a export zonly Avernus can provide. I though about the warding action but Tamia has double the learning and the cost of it is 5 relic material.

Personal
SLOT A - Year 4
-Y4: Personal Attention: Educational Review
-Y5: Personal Attention: Educational Review
-- DOUBLE DOWN YEAR 5
SLOT B - Year 2
-Y2: Personal Attention: Expedition: Tarascon
-- DOUBLE DOWN YEAR 2
SLOT C - Year 5
-Y5: Thaddeus Expertise: Tyrant Lizard Pens
SLOT D - Year 1
-Y1: Spend Time With (Clara & Cassandra)
-Y2: Spend Time With (Clara & Cassandra)
-Y3: Spend Time With (Clara & Cassandra)
-Y4: Spend Time With (Clara & Cassandra)
-Y5: Spend Time With (Clara & Cassandra)

This is self explanatory I think. I am spending 4 actions on the wonder twins. One double on Education review. The expedition to Tarascon has to go through and I got a double down on it. Thaedus is on lizard pen duty because giant lizards are awesome and he can still help out building cities next turn.

Ok if you have a reason you want to change something tell it to me and have a good argument for doing so and can convince other it needs to be done.

Edit I am off to go work out will look at results in a hour to two hours.

But god damn, that is big. On average that's even longer Huge Hulks. Having just one would massively improve our ability to defeat Orks, since it could just disintegrate all the Hulks the Orks bring in, killing countless Orks, aces, and its main leadership elements.

I have to wonder how good it is against Chaos daemons. Could it 1v1 an Exalted Greater Daemon? An EGD is supposedly on the level of a god, but this is literally a God-class ship we're talking about.

-Y1: Make a Request (Assist Ridcully in his Research)
Ask if she can assist in Lin's research too. She very likely can't help but just in case she can it'd be worth asking.

-Y5: Investigate (Conservative faction of the Admech)
Already done by a Mechanicus action. Pick something else.

-Y5:: Personal Attention: Educational Review
More Clara and Cassandra. It's worth it for future hero units.

SLOT D - Year 5
-Y5: Spend Time With (Clara & Cassandra)

The alternative action is Deploying ourselves on a world, but TBH I don't think it's the best time yet. Plus I kind of want us to improve Clara/Cassandra's attributes. And loyalty.

Double Downs (In order of priority):
Y1: Nature of Tzeentch
Y2: Grav-Shear Weapons/Educational Review
Y3: Grav-Shear Weapons/Educational Review
Y4: Grav-Shear Weapons/Gravitic Array: Investigation/Educational Review
Y5: Grav-Shear Weapons/Gravitic Array: Investigation/Educational Review

You know, I'm fairly sure there's a good synergy between Educational Review and Spend Time with (Clara & Cassandra).

SLOT A - Year 3 (Biologis)
-Y3: Complete Examination (Poison Lichen)
Avernus Golden Bird, please. A lot of people want it done. The animals reduce Chaos taint.

SLOT A - Year 4 (Xavier)
-Y4: Psychic Materials: Island Turtles
-Y5: Psychic Materials: Titan Scorpion
Please change this to Basic Alkahestry. At the very least don't make us cut parts out of a Weapon. If you really want to do psychic materials, do phase tigers. Just having their body parts in crates makes those crates phase through walls.

Our current information is extremely out of date...like holy hell its out of date, we don't know the demographics, if anyone switched sides if anyone's died or what their current strategies are.
Demographics have been getting updated.

@Durin
1. Speaking of demographics, based on our current information how are the proportions looking in terms of support and opposition over all? By this I mean of the overall tech priest population are more reform or conservative? The reason I ask is that in a lot of areas we got a lot of support (the progressives practically are the Explorator and Biologis) and we've got a major plurality of support on Avernus, Asgard and Midgard. But Vanaheim's still got the most tech priests as I recall even if we have a surprising amount of support there.

I'm sorry if this makes no sense as a question.

To try and rephrase it, of the overall admech population how many are support and how many are conservative?

I ask this because well, looking at the demographics given we seem like we have a higher majority of the mechanicus, which obviously I hope is the case, but I also think makes sense.

Scott has been making numerous strides with the rediscovery of the learning schematics, her improving The Titan sans STC, her reforms which make new priests more likely to be progressive which were introduced well over 100 years ago now, the evidence of the war on two fronts that the admech has to change, the fact that according to you the war on two fronts wiped out a large number of the Myrmidons, which presumably damaged the upper ranks of the military conservatives, the fact that the biologis and explorator presumably made up of many of the admech's most respected Magi are pretty much all pro us and the fact that Scott seems to be consistently proved right...well it seems like we should at least have half the admech on our side to varying degrees.

If that makes sense.

SLOT A - Year ? (Year 2 earliest) (Explorator)
-Y2: Gravatic Array: Investigation
-- DOUBLE DOWN IF YEAR 5. Override other double down that year.
SLOT B - Year 4
-Y4: Complete Examination (Golden Bird)

Golden Bird referenced here - second one, can purify Chaos. That's important to figure out.

Ministorum
SLOT A - Year 1
-Y1: The Nature of (Tzeentch)
-- DOUBLE DOWN YEAR 1
SLOT B - Year 1
-Y1: Cleanse World (Medium)
-Y3: The Nature of (Slaanesh)
-- DOUBLE DOWN YEAR 3

The odds on success on The Nature of Tzeentch are fairly good with a double down, even considering the lack of a reroll so I don't want to waste two time slots on it. So I'd rather not waste the time slot with an artificial double down - if we did want to do that, we should do it for Created Gods, which I'm open to doing here instead. Timing things to use a double down again, specifically to study the other Chaos God that's about to get a boost (and has a local polity).

Astra Telepathica
SLOT A - Year 4 (Xavier)
-Y4: Take over "Siren Rune of Focus: All Psykers" from Tamia, 1 year penalty
SLOT B - Year 4 (Tamia)
-Y4: Rune of Warding: Warp Drive Interaction
-- DOUBLE DOWN YEAR 4
SLOT C - Free Divination
-Y?: Greater Divination (Eldar Choice)

If Aria can do the blank training better, then best wait to have her do it in a couple turns.

EDIT - Having Tamia do the WDI study, because she's better suited. We want that sooner rather than later, since it's possibly helpful in this war we're having with Turoq, so taking a 1 year penalty to the Rune of Focus action is acceptable as a cost.

SLOT A - Year 3 (Biologis)

This should actually start in Year 4. There's three years left on the current action, which means it takes up years one through three, and opens in year four.

Personal
SLOT A - Year 4

-Y4: Counter-Intelligence
--Double Down
-Y5: Personal Attention: Educational Review
Doing a counter intelligence because spies are going to be a problem. Doing Educational review across two slots.

SLOT B - Year 2

-Y2:Expedition: Tarascon
-DOUBLE DOWN
Doing this the second year , we are locked in and the DC is lower.

SLOT d - Year 1

-Y1: Spend Time With (Clara & Cassandra)
-Y2: Spend Time With (Clara & Cassandra)
-Y3: Spend Time With (Clara & Cassandra)
-Y4: Spend Time With (Clara & Cassandra)
-Y5:: Personal Attention: Educational Review

Invalid. You have three Personal Attention type actions going on at once. (the expedition is a Personal Attention, as is Counter-Intelligence)

Plan Nurgle has one Personal Attention to much (The expedition is one as well) and therby not valid.
Shard does not continue the exploration.

I do not like that no plan has supplying the trust fleet with Avernus one but blocking the construct action is not advisable.

Right now I can only vote for Enjou.

The Riders
Creature Omake: The Riders

The ground shuddered as he landed amidst the wreckage. Charred bodies lay strewn about. The sheer variety of forms struck him: bipedal shapes roughly the size of a person lay scattered amidst great hulking multi-legged beasts.
Picking through the battlefield were the people he had come to see. One in particular rose from where it was studying one of the smaller corpses and hurried towards him. He retracted his control dendrites into his armored carapace and vaulted down to meet the research team's representative.
"LP4-Cy858-B7-8, ready to report. You are the representative of mobile research conclave two? I am assigned as your liaison." it asked in a staccato burst of clicks.
"I am LA2-Cy844-B2-2. I await your report." He responded.
"Examination of the creatures' bodies has called the previous theory that species possesses caste-biology into question. Distinction between epidermis and inner tissues suggests that we are facing an example of extreme parasitization or symbiosis, with a living metal organism being infiltrated by a more fleshy creature that appears to act as a primary nervous system. Examination of the large forms seem to bear that out, as they are infested with multiple instances of the flesh forms found within the bipedal husks. Unfortunately, the beast that wiped this group out damaged them severely. We eagerly await a living specimen to study." Cy858-LP4-B7-8 said as it guided him to the body it had been dissecting.
The researcher had attempted to expose the inner working of the creature, peeling back the layers of its biology. Unfortunately, dragon flame had cause epidermal layers to fuse, warp and melt in ways that made it nearly impossible to properly section and rendered the interior body into carbon and scattered metallic bones.
"Fascinating. Unfortunately to the cause of science, reports indicate that the invaders have begun to retreat back into the west. Apparently the wild beasts have proven too much for them. Prepare your samples for transport, the mobile conclave wishes to compile a report for the Lineages. We will be ready in case they should return and take root. Purity of Lineage!" Second hatched of the second brood of the 844th cycle, born of the second of the Lineages-Autocrat said.
"Purity of Lineage! The Lineage-Warrior will be prepared should they need to exterminate an infestation, this I swear." The eighth hatched of the seventh brood of the 858th cycle, born of the fourth of the Lineages-Philosopher responded.
Turning, LA2-Cy844-B2-2 leaped up onto the back of his dragon-steed, retracting the carapace shell of his fingers and extending dendrites into the flesh of the control node that kept it docile. With a mighty surge, be beast hurled itself into the air.

@Durin

So, I am considering switching from doing Basic Alkestry to studying how the Rune of Warding and Gellar Fields interact - ships that are immune to psychic attack or could be made undetectable in the Warp seem like they would be more relevant to the Turoq situation. Anyone have any opinions on that?

Yeah, Alkhestry is decades away from giving us any significant breakthroughs.
