Ok so I am thinking of a compromise where we try to spend 3 days or so sending telepath messages to the warboss that thes efight sucks and he should go get more boys and find some other place to attack.

And if that does not work just kill him with a Giant mittens made of fire. And if that does not a kill team made of last hunters space marines , and governors own led by hero's.

By my math we have 43.59 billion Orks left with 17 billion of those in the main hoard. We also have 945 Gargents left, 474 with Headcrusha and 471 scattered.

Why not just ask him for another rematch or something, convince him to postpone the battle for future, while both sides recover their strength to fight another day.

Or ask something about him using Avernus as a training dummy for a good fight or point him somewhere else for a good practice battle or something.

It will keep the orks contained in a way, by having him fight us over and over again, never expanding.
Because only the smartest orks have the foresight/understanding to pull a move like that, traits which Skullcrusha demonstrably does not possess.

He's the archetype ork in almost every way, he fights and he only cares about getting into a fight as quickly as possible, followed by victory in said fight.

In any case my thoughts on him is why bother just kill him. If he crits his common sense roll and buggers off, great, but otherwise lets just nuke him.

we are not keeping the ork biotiatn warlord alive. If he runs we let him, but he's a high combat paragon, we're killing him as hard as we can.

Yeah, Aryz (who's about ~4m tall) has 6000 HP (well, 3000 without his paragon trait but 'Eadcrusha has similar one as well, if not extra HP he likely has extra armor or overall damage resistance or something along those lines) compared to 100 HP of regular human. That means that with him being ~7.5m tall 'Eadcrusha's HP is probably in hundreds of thousands, killing him will not be fast or easy.

It's actually hilarious with how Headcrusha is the opposite of Garkill(AKA that Ork that would always run away) when it comes to the players opinions.

*********************************************

Players on Garkill: "Goddamn it! Stop running away you coward!"

Players on Headcrusha: Crosses fingers. "Please retreat, please, please retreat."

[X] Plan Kaiju Crushin' Headcrusha
-[X] Meet Headcrusha's horde with a force built around your power armoured troops - Over half a billion Power Armoured Troops are currently on Svartalfheim, allowing you to meet Headcrushas' Horde with a force entirely in power armour. This would allow you to take advantage of the poor armor penetration capacity of the majority of the Ork troops now that the Waaagh Field has weakened.
-[X] Balanced Stance- By using a mix of dug in forces, raids and sallies you would be able to greatly speed up the battle without risking to much of your forces .
-[X] Kill Headcrusha with elites- Deadly as headcrusha is even he can't stand against the full might of the Black Irons, though many lives would be lost keeping him isolated which he is worn down
--[X] They have authorization to use vortex and stasis grenades at their discretion.
-[X] Low- Continue as things are, sacrificing fighters in order to cover a campaign of harassment on the ground which would be supported by bombers.
-[X] Scry and Fry [Warbosses & Ork Leaders]- Your Diviners could work with your other psykers to locate the most dangerous foes and take them out.
-[X] Thermonuclear Battle Tiger - Launch Deathstrikes against Headcrusha's horde, and then have Xavier lead a choir to turn the flames into a giant, fiery tiger kaiju to rampage through the Orkish lines to attack Headcrusha, as you planned to do in during the last war. No Transcendent Alpha will interfere this time!
-[X] Biomancers will provide boosts to the elites going against Headcrusha.

Ok then. Power Armored troops will include our Helltroopers, since they're Power Armored. Also, this is an excellent time to go ahead and murder the fuck out of Headcrusha, using massed elites since this guy is a real threat to our heroes (who are much more difficult to replace). If we kill him though we need to Scry and Fry possible replacements in order to maximize the chaos the Orkish forces will go through due to being decapitated. Finally, because we all demand it, the Thermonuclear Battle Tiger.

I'd prefer to centre this around Avernite troops to go with the elite vs elite climatic confrontation thing we have going, but this works too.

Well, my presumption is that the Helltroopers and Helguard would be a major component of this force. It's just that it would include the Svartalfar Guard and other forces that have a lot of Power Armor as well. @Durin could correct me if I'm wrong on that.

@Enjou, I think we should increase the intensity of our air attacks up to Medium, that way the ork air force will be limited in how much they can participate in the main battle.

Our psyker should not do more?
I would like an Biomancer option to boost the divisions engaging Headcrusha.

[] Opportunistic - Deploy your air forces whenever there is a major opening, otherwise keep them back.
-[] Spend 3 days to getting the choirs to send telepathic messages that these is not a proppa Fight and he needs to leave the sector.

-[X] Thermonuclear Battle Tiger at day 4 or best opportunity - Launch Deathstrikes against Headcrusha's horde, and then have Xavier lead a choir to turn the flames into a giant, fiery tiger kaiju to rampage through the Orkish lines and challenge the ork warboos to a fight, just as you planned to do in during the last war. No Transcendent Alpha will interfere this time!

ok here is my plan we send a few days trying to get him to leave if that does not work we kill him. Also I am keeping the plans back there is n reason to send them out since the air defenses of the city can support the ground forces.

[X] Plan Kaiju Crushin' Headcrusha

I hope we don't lose the black irons, but I'd rather risk them than our heroes. Also if they don't die we can write omakes about their worst slayer leader being exited about finally getting sent out to die, but somehow surviving.

I'd like to start this post by saying that my plan turned out to be unnecessary- orks were closer to the Waaagh-dropping point than I thought.
-[] Spend 3 days to getting the choirs to send telepathic messages that these is not a proppa Fight and he needs to leave the sector.
3 problems with that:
-Headcrusha is here, seeing the fight, and he's probably having the time of his life. Sending shitton of elites his way will only reinforce that notion.
-He doesn't have an easy method of just... leaving this sector. He'd have to take multiple weeks, if not months, to get there.
-Headcrusha is dumb. He most likely doesn't understand the notion of a bigger fight elsewhere, as it's an abstract notion. He's less of a consequentialist and more of a deontologist, when it comes to fights.
It's like asking a pie-eating champion to stop enjoying his all-you-can-eat buffet, because next city has an even bigger buffet. And he doesn't even have a car.

[X] Plan Kaiju Crushin' Headcrusha
I don't think there's much that can be added here.
Only thing that could have helped was the Death's Hand Poison.
Death's Head Poison- Kills nearly anything. Master Poison
Master Poisons cost 20 Credits base
Buuut we didn't buy it. Too expensive.
...
Can we crash some ships into Headcrusha?
I know it's a wasteful and demoralizing tactic, but he's of comparable toughness to a 1st Circle Angyl, right? :p
