Given that only some of the psykers would learn the Techbane power if we were even successful in having Aria research it, I'm going to leave her on planet cleansing duty unless more people say they want it changed.
I want it changed. If nothing else it'll clear up some backlog and let Aria fight the orks.
 
Things the Eldar want:

- More Wraithbone. More is always useful.
- Vect's head on a platter
- She Who Thirsts's destruction
- For the Harlequins to get new material
- Delicious blueberry pie
- For humans to stop being morons
- Seriously, mon-keigh, stahp.
Yeah, but sans helping them get Vect's head we can't help them much in those regards :)

I mean we could let em on Avernus of course.
 
I think we should leave her home. We have enough heros to take care of the Orks.

We need someone strong at home to deal with chaos alphas, especially when we would be taking most of our army and powerful psykers out of the system.

Plus Jane is one of our best anti deamon weapons. So risking her on just Orks doesn't sit right with me.

Also favoring Tech Bane. Even if the ability isn't promulgated very far, having even a few units being able to use it could be extremely valuable, particularly since this WAAAGH!!!'s might rests heavily on its Gargants.
Basically, having it researched for this fight would expand Aria's remit from "psyker/daemon bane" to include Meks.
 
Ophelia is really good at psykering, proven by how she's an omnimancer. I'd reckon she has a really good chance of learning the power in time. Because she's an Alpha psyker, her use of Techbane would be very significant, enough to mess with a Gargant at the very least. Waaagh Hedcrusha has a lot of mekboys in it so Techbane would be a pretty damn useful power to have.

Shouldn't we be doing a sound-out about trade with the Eldar for access to the Webway or whatever else of "Rotbart's agenda" that needs to be pushed past the High Council? The vote as much as said that now is the time to be doing it, while his prestige is super-high and he can spent it to get something that would ordinarily be difficult.

Certainly seems like a better choice of action than "Investigate Relationship" or "Persons of Interest", which while interesting rarely produce much that's actionable or particularly important.

Uh, "needs to be pushed past the High Council". If you know who is going to be opposed beforehand, the initial proposal can be drafted to try and alleviate their concerns beforehand.

Unless you're saying you view all sound-out actions as inherently a waste of time?

Please reread this because your Diplo actions are not that important.
After examining Jacob Oakheart and Saint Lin Areatha told you that while the effects of their conditions are similar the causes are a bit different. She tells you that Jacob's soul is more then his body can contain, and that the best way of dealing with that is Royal level Alkahestry to enhance his body. Saint Lin on the other hand has a soul gifted with more power then it can withstand. The only ways to cure it from what she can tell is either gain the assistance of someone able to reinforce the strength of his soul, which most gods can not achieve, or to have someone able to conduct spiritual surgery remove the power from his soul, which again is mostly limited to gods.

We're considering absorbing/merging with the Dragon's nest. In that case, we need to improve our communications, and assuming that the Sanginour is a non-hostile warp entity we can double our astropath's ranger, at an absolute minimum. On the other hand, if the Blood Dragon's guardian angel is some kind of deamon in disguise then we really want to know that ahead of time.
