Getting Ahead or Future Career as Evil Looking Doorstop

This was better and worse than being bored out of its skull. Better, because at least there was something to see now. Worse, because it wasn't under its control as it was scooped up by another skeleton. A thought rattled around in its empty cranium that it was being used as a illumination device as its GREAT FLAMING EYES were casting more than enough light that even a mortal meatbag could navigate by.

Wall, Skeletons, Floor, More Skeletons, Ceiling. Screaming skeleton. Huh. The last one seemed to cause the skeleton holding it to bobble the skull in it's hands. Unfortunately, it was not facing the other to properly see what was going on.

Then it was...flying?! YES! Cackling madly as it would soon strike fear into the mortals! THEIR RECKONING WAS AT HAND! MUAHAHAHAHA! Nothing could stop it now, except the....floor?!

It didn't hit said floor, instead it rebounded off the skull of slumbering skeleton causing a chain reaction by knocking it into the seven other behind it.

Rudely awakened from their slumber, the eight skeletons began moving about only for one of them to trip over its skull and send it crashing into the wall as the skull could only glower in impotent rage.

AN: Re-roll to whoever needs it again. Also, if/when I manage to get intelligent skelllington status (and a body!) I'll be going for Necromancer/Researcher for that sweet, sweet magic.

...So I have a hypothetical future omake-thing. It's not exactly one made for the moment, but hey, I'm running out of fuel for the current situation omakes and I really want to reroll.

Not going to write it yet because I has a question whether or not omakes like that are allowed? Are they @Zedalb?

AN: Re-roll to whoever needs it again.
Desperate begging occurs for reroll.
Can I has please?

Honestly, I'd rather have a chance for more intelligent PC skellies than a mere re-roll. With their enhanced dice pool, it means a lot more can get done than the mindless horde and provides better chances for said horde to 'get some brains' as it were.

From a Fragment of an Ancient Journal

They woke crawling. From the others they learned to stand, then run, then jump and climb. They never rested, nor stopped or slowed down. There was no obstacle they could not climb nor problem they could not circumvent. Desperately racing from one site to the next, they could be spotted bringing messages or carrying samples.

What madness could possess these newly risen dead to rush around so? To scamper and scurry and leap and climb like the lesser beasts of the world? Truly they must of lost and gained much in equal measure to be so changed from the men they once were.

Day 3
The song resonates so hard it shakes the cave and what was barely over a hundred skeletons becomes nearly 800 a small band becoming an army as move and more rise with every moment. For hours the song is picked up, changing in pitch and volume as others join or stop until after a great length of time silence lies over the cave the only noise the quite sounds on stones being picked up skeletons bumping into one another, or the bones stepping down on the rough stone.

And then, the silence ends. Drums shake the cave, heavy bangs start a beat that is soon matched by stomping feet. A chorus sings out in a marching tune and occasionally a line is punctuated with metal weapons slamming onto metal shields. Something old stirs inside you, a memory of how other skeletons fell, a single word comes to mind, bring back flashes of battles your kind has lost to them.

Dwarves (3-5 Turns until found)

The scouting skeletons however bring good news, an exit to the cave has been found to the "left" now to be called the exit. This exit has a dense forest, providing a second resource to work and build with, wood. However beyond the forest less than a mile from you exist a small halfling village. Their homes are covered with dirt, then grass grown over them. They do something similar with a village wall a round hill circles around the village into almost an entire circle, the "wall" has wooden spikes poking outwards all over it. Stopping large numbers from attacking from any direction together. Five wooden towers can house archers, one at each side of the entrance and the other three separated equal distance apart. However your intelligent skeletons can estimate their number only 500, and that includes, elder, sick and children.

The stone sages experiment with an axe fails, or rather it succeeds in but the first step. Stone hits stone, a technique remembered as Knapping. To do more will require some practice and a source of wood, luckily that was just found.
