Ah, right! Our victory condition! Very exciting.

I like Saint of Hope, or maybe Saint of Liberation. Saint of Benevolence?

Was Van Zandt the Inquisitor out here? Or did the inquisitor get stomped by a local noble? Might determine if they're big-C chaos or not. Regardless, that might be our next Front.

My take on our priorities:
1. Jolly cooperation. Let's get the all-V sorted before we lose any infrastructure from colonizing or integrating anybody else. QM has said it's going to start a thread-war, and that only means the options are amazing.
2. Colonizing. We've got like eight attractive abandoned planets in our reach, and the sooner we grab them the sooner they'll be fortified and productive. I might suggest we build the Cassiopeia somewhere in there, since it might give a boost to colonization and will be generally nice to have.
3. Military stuff. Looks like our period of peace may be coming to an end, we've got quite a queue of design actions stacked up.
4. More faith/psykana actions. There's juicy stuff sitting on the table, we just need to shake free a couple actions here and there to take care of it.

The only one that has to take a monopoly on future turns is #1, the rest can be 1 action each unless there's a fire in which case the prioritization kicks in.

I think it's more "All Five Seals need to be opened when the Emperor finally dies for the Star Child to be born instead of the Star Father", but we've opened the one that's in our power to do so.

I guess our Trait will now passively upgrade @HeroCooky as time goes on as long as we don't aggressively Fuck It Up?

Also, what would the other option have done?
No, unless you manage to fuck up beyond comprehension during this Quest, the Star Child will be born. Its just that Five Seals need to be broken to enable a safe birth, with the last being the last fragment of the Emperor dying.

Your Trait will not passively upgrade.

It would have gotten you this, but not the Trait Upgrade. Instead you would have gotten a Faith Turn. :V
@HeroCooky can we declare Bnuy a Saint also? She did also die, right?
By your own criteria, she does not apply beyond "Learned" and "Blessed."

... I'll take it, being able to challenge Daemons without them Corrupting you automatically, win or lose, is absolutely worth it.

Faith Turns are amazing, but stuff that never goes away is better still.

What was the previous text for this?

A Hand to Hold the Candle, A Hand to Guide the Sword, A Mouth to Sing the Hymns, Two Feet to March against the Dark, and Eyes to See the Star Child's Light - All your people are passively immune to Light Chaos Corruption (Powered Chaos Sigils, Turbulent Warp Travel, Short-Term Daemonic Contact). This can be upgraded.
(Warning: Trait only applies to believers of the Star Child and will not extend to non-converted populations.)

[] Declare Teeln, Prophet of the Star Child, A Saint
-[] Patron Saint of Liberation
-[] Week of Veneration (The Liberation of Cradle, spanning the five days leading up to and during the moment where Cradle Station was taken by the Free People that would later form the nucleus of the Federation)

I'll leave the schedule bit for someone smarter, but this seems a good start.

Holding the hand of his love as she died the same night. Five centuries and nearly six decades spent in the love of simmering heat and assured trust like a planet-dweller might know gravity, and he knew the breath in his lungs. Teeln loved Bnuy, and Bnuy loved Teeln; a law written unto the Warp itself.
This is the way we voted he died, after half a millenium spent with Bnuy, the objectively correct choice is to declare him the patron saint of love, considering that this has just been written into the Warp itself.

This

A Hand to Hold the Candle, A Mouth to Sing the Hymns, Eyes to Behold the Star Child's Light - All your people are passively immune to Minor Chaos Corruption (Low-Powered Chaos Sigils, Safe Warp Travel, Nightmare Visions). This can be upgraded.

I am thinking the Saint of Humble Beginnings. Saints in Catholicism have many patron saints, so maybe we could go with five for our boi.

Also, sidenote but @HeroCooky would 1k Sons flesh change be cured/fixed if they were in Federation space (I know that we only had Alpha Legion infiltrators, who probably just go hit with "Are we the baddies?" in case of chaos corrupted ones, and technically flesh change is no longer a thing because dustmarines)?

@Alectai @The Laurent what do you think about making Teeln Patron Saint of Hope and Impossible Causes? I feel like it pushes back against the stagnation and despair that's so common to 40k and means that even when the odds are against us, like they are with such a fledgling nation against much stronger opponents, we still might have some faith to help change our fortunes.

Well damn naturally we're making the guy a saint I'd riot if we didn't!

But dang this was a big step forward for our faith given our people can choose now upon death to either fuel the star child's ascension or accept gentle oblivion and protect future generations which is an interesting prospect.

And damn chaos must really hate us cause a lot of there traditional avenues of infiltration are closed in the federation. Let's also ignore the fact that Segmentum Solar will be consumed by a warp storm upon the Star Childs birth. And earth along with it not like we can do much as is on the other side of the galaxy.

Nah, they've already had their souls pawned off to Chaos, you'd need to get them back first.

There are two categories: those living/mortal who are deemed Venerable or Blessed after an examination of their deeds to clarify that they and their beliefs are in the highest and most holy regard, aimed always for the Faith, and if they claim to have powers from one of the Five, the source of their capabilities. The second consists of Saints, who have the former evaluation done during their life or after it and are granted these titles by the occurrence of Miracles, which are to be investigated.
She'd need to have done a Miracle... What about the Five Sphinxes? She was the head of the Choir who healed them, wasn't she?

LMAO no. Tzeentch got his tentacles deeper in them than a squid in a fishers wife.

That was a collaboratove effort of a lot of people, with Teeln himself acting as the focus of the Star Child for that particular Miracle.

past info on hive worlds
30-90, with -30 to everything for the closest possible Hive World you can access.

The levels only go to 20.
this may not be true anymore since we have expanded a lot since then
Underhive Genocide Boogaloo: They'll Literally Fight You For Centuries Edition.

Getting any Hive will be an exercise of funneling millions into an endless meatgrinder to pacify the lower parts to be able to even start unfucking it.

[] Declare Teeln, Prophet of the Star Child, A Saint
-[] Title: The 5-fold Saint; the Patron-Saint of the Federation, of liberation, of love, of cooperation and of Hope.
-[] Week of Veneration: The week of the Prophet, from the first day of the 5th month until the 5th day
--[] Schedule of the Week (What is done when, etc.)
---[] 1st day: Is a day when we celebrate his quiet and day-to-day work for the Federation, a day when we celebrate his work by celebrating the work of others who built the Federation (i.e. after 16 millennia, the Mayday is back on the menu0
---[] 2nd day: we celebrate his work of liberating the people who were trapped by sin, be it by the chains or the vices, be they small or be they huge, by the chaos or by the tyrants.
---[] 3rd day: Its basically valentines
---[] 4th: Celebrating his work in making sure that followers of Starchild did not splinter over stupid reasons
---[] 5th: Celebrations in the hope of even better tomorrow

Here's where we were when that was said:

Sterbelicht - One Sacrifice At A Time Against The Galaxy (40K) Mature - Sci-Fi

The year is 999.M41. Things are happening in the galaxy at large, and yet these people know nothing of them. How could they? They are not the movers and shakers of an empire, but the laborers that oil the chains of a Dark Mechanicum outpost producing machinery and weapons with their sweat and...

We literally had no Light Cruisers because we hadn't designed our first one. We had no V's at all, when... uh.

Food Production V - Efficient And Tasty MREs - Improves Military Morale and severely reduces malnutrition and starvation within your own or recently conquered or liberated populations.
Civilian Infrastructure V - Prospering Like Never Before - Decreases the cost of Integrating and Colonizing Systems by 1 Civilian Infrastructure and 1 Heavy Industry. Additionally, the Quality of Life of Federation Citizens increases noticeably. Can be Upgraded/Chosen Again.

So yeah, I expect it's still a big thing that'd take a century to swallow, but we're massively fucking bigger!

That was three-hundred years ago. Lemme see where we were, but I'm pretty sure we hadn't even started fighting Neon seriously? Or knowing they existed? It was even before the "They Shall be Kin" stuff. Lemme check...
I mean yah it was a while ago so that why I said it may not be true anymore? it prob is not true anymore as u said
