What should your focus for the rest of the Quest be?

Two thoughts and some questions.

First - how often would we really use penitentia? It seems potentially useful but the number of actually condemned cultists in our empire has to be vanishingly small and getting smaller as we consecrate worlds.

Re developments, there's also the tech route. The chickens cost 1 research action to get basically +2 food dev actions, and there's a similar tech for medical. We should be able to write-in for more research bonuses. I'd still like to get the planet-cracker, but there are alternate (or synergistic) approaches available.

@HeroCooky my questions.
1. Can we try to propose other tech options that would improve various other developments, or do we need to wait for New Dawn? Off the top of my head I can think of studying the principles behind the planet-cracker for heavy ind, doing a synergistic study of weapon design philosophy of all of the xenos/breakaway states we've run into for military ind, etc.
2. Since it looks like number of free choirs is going to actually be a limiting resource for us, what's the development that would let us improve juvenat production? Was that medical X? Or am I misremembering. Any other way to boost choir/population?
3. Can we focus both of our subversion slots on a single particularly difficult target to make it go faster/smoother? I want to point them at the black cat but they seem big. They do have two planets but the The Talon is the important one. Would pointing subversion at both of their planets be synergistic? Would it work at all?

Devouring Mechadendrite doesn't increase it's productivity, what it does is increase its efficiency, so we can get the full bonus for 25 Choirs (Making it something we can keep on all the time as a passive, I'll take it). Web of Song seems to have jumped in range massively (From adjacent system to three systems out), Break Your Chains lets us target the crowd's anger, and Bound to the Stars is straight up Navigator level warp travel, rather than Warp Abacus level. (A Bad Navigator mind you, but presumably the Level 3 version will qualify as a Good Navigator)

Yeah, I'm really kicking myself for sidelining our Psykana so long. We've got a lot of catch up to do, but I think we can get pretty damn sophisticated even now.

Probably just a further Efficiency Boost to 5% per Choir, which would mean that it'd be a small cost to acquire a permanent x1.5 modifier on all General Action Economy for a tithe of our total Choir force. Right now, it's still uncomfortably pricey, but we have enough Choirs that we can afford it. Getting it down to 10 Choirs would be quite economical for the gain.

Hey @HeroCooky! Once you said that a Song to boost our Development was possible. And Development, it's not really about technology progressing - that would be research - it's about the entire nation progressing through community efforts.
So would something like Progress/Community/Family/Unity work?

I think so too, if my gut feeling is right and finishing the Voxx Primus Population Crisis before the evacuation was finished was worth a Fourth Action, I'd say "Two General on the Black Ash Clan to unfuck our little oversight from earlier, use the free one we got working on an Inf or economic harmonization with the Shipwright's Grove, or starting with the Ashan Buy-Out, then we build an LRAD and use our last action to Sing a Song. Generally agree, Though we should figure out what kinds of songs we want to sing. When we hit 10 we'll want 5 similarly themed songs for a symphony. What do you think of the dev-focused song above?
Also when we do the poison gift action we should do the ISC switch to colonization for 6 planets to grab gigachad/the archaotech planets as well as start the black cat subversion?
 
... Might be in the form of "Shield us from the Influence of the Four", the main risk of Psykana study is Chaos reaching in and throttling you, so you have to painstakingly go through every step.
That wouldn't be a bad song to tack onto any symphony anyway. "All this power - and make it less susceptible to Chaos."

1. Wait for New Dawn to roll something interesting. If everyone chimed in with technology, you'd min-max the entire thing and I don't care to do that even remotely.

The data specialist noted that if we were to not merely introduce ourselves but also deliver a gift of 100 Karnivores to the Black Ash Clan within the same move, we would be able to disguise our efforts to turn Brans as the local population, acting as a gateway to each other's nation, being taken by the Federation. Particularly if we include some carefully curated media focused on the Knight Orders of our nation. This, in turn, may allow us to turn the world by having the local nobles declare the Right of Secession in favor of the Glimmering Federation and aid them in the upcoming Honor Duels to let them emerge victorious, with everyone's honor intact and the banner of the world raised to a new "Queendom."

Infantry Units consist mainly of boots on the ground, while Mechanized Units are equipped with vehicles that increase mobility and durability at the cost of logistics and all-terrain capability, with Tanks allowing a myriad of armored spearheads or operations to proceed, and an Augmetic Legion consists of cybernetically enhanced humans, equipped with high-end implants and prosthetics that set them far above the human baseline, allowing for far more dangerous deployments. Light Units are better for low-logistic scenarios, while Medium Units rely more on regular shipments and strike a good balance between supply consumption and effectiveness. Heavy Units rely on solid logistics to continue working while offering an equal force concentration in return. A War-Pack comprises 15 Karnivores grouped in Packs of 3 Knights each, alongside the infrastructure/logistics to support and rebuild their Knights.
