[X] (2.0x) Hey this Panopticon group actually seems pretty good and we should totally join them. What? Memetic hazards giving you bad judgment you say? However could that happen?

SeaDart may have been a fascist, but by Jove he was our fascist. He went over to Panopticon, and they're legit Technocracy so it can't hurt to put out some legitimate feelers for friendship, right?

This is a joke right? Because due to the multiplier, this could legimately win, right?

Yep, definitely going with this.

[X] Write In: NWO counter-intrusion programming SNAKE EYES hijacks subconscious, and puts her into 'debug' mode while her conscious mind continues on as normal. During this time she will continue to act a 'zombie' agent, putting on a copacetic face while a ruthless technocratic 'zombie' agent directs her to act according to her true interests

[X] (1.2x) You want to understand what happened in Moscow first. And now you can time your 'investigation' to ensure that the hemophages are busy dealing with the fact that Spetsnaz are firing thermobaric rockets into an opera house. Choose one or both of the options below (note that choosing both requires you to split your team)
-[X] Let's go find some of those Baali the Tsar gave you hints about, and then beat them until stuffing vital information falls out.

Let's not go over to Panopticon.

Can you even do write-ins if they're invisible?

They seem well equipped enough, and hey, they seem to be in the know. What could possibly go wrong?

What on earth is wrong with you complete idiots, stop voting for the option that is blatantly Jamelia controlled.

Dumbasses.

I am voting for this because I was told to in the strongest possible terms...

Votes under duress are not counted, unless I want to count them!

--[x] How about we actually just stop pussyfooting around and look into the museum? The power armor even almost works!

The vampires have been fighting a small war against the Baali, there are fucking loads of them. Let's go see if we can find out more about which specific group we should be looking for before going off half cocked. Information has been one of our greatest strengths, and we're not in the right place (or have the right people) to be able to compensate for a poor guess with large amounts of gunfire (or orbital strikes, or special forces...we're not the big boys on the block around here, guys).

Also, those people voting for Panopticon defection? You're literally going to walk into a complete unknown's den with even less information than we have on the damn infernalists. No, fuck you.

That does not always mean all the options lead to what you'd actually expect.
Well, yeah. We have a woman right there who's probably quite familiar with the effects of memetic weapons, and even if that doesn't do anything the rest of the Construct has a good chance of noticing that something's wrong with Jamelia's head.

I still think that last option is schmuck-bait.

I am not going to be more explicit at hinting that if you choose the last option, you may be able to find out who your potential hires for the Moscow route are early, because Jamelia may temporarily be laid up having her brain unpickled in an ex-KGB brainwashing center. It's not the most serious option, but it is a chance to switch main characters.

The last option is fun bait. Sometimes it's good to not vote for whatever you calculate will have the best chances of solving your immediate problems, but rather for the option where you most want to see what happens next. We'll get to the other stuff later; I want to see what happens when we've been stung by a memetic weapon, and play with some of the other characters.

This sounds like a perfectly good time. If this is schmuck-bait, then I'll gladly count myself a schmuck.

Well, first off you only get to vote once, and the multipler at the end of the choice counts.

I think the Panopticon people, whoever they are, sound like fun times.

Whoever they are? Are you telling me you haven't read the quest?

I see a sudden influx of posters I don't recognize having contributed to the Quest before, all making a beeline for the dodgiest and most potentially self-destructive option. Something is going on here, but I think more in the line of a prank. Maybe.

And yes, reading the archives so you know what has happened is a really good idea.

Definitely. Given how close they are to winning (.8 away), might be a good idea to throw a vote in too if you're so inclined.
