[X] Discretion is the better part of valor, and if they're recovering her mindstate she might be better served with an upgrade. Chuck a demolitions charge or five in, and run like hell.

Or six. Or seven. Let's be really, really sure he's chunked.

Hmm. Well, this maniac seems to consider his primary goal to be "getting his hands on Jamelia's RNE". RNEs are still a potential data leak - hence why senior Technocrats frequently have implants to prevent RNE formation upon death. We don't understand the psychic shit that's going on, but this might still be a potential risk. Therefore, we should only destroy Jamelia's body if we can guarantee that this maniac goes down along with it.

He's clearly a major player in the criminal Underworld [1]. And one willing to engage in massive assaults on Earth. What the fuck are the Void Engineers playing at if they're missing this?

Hmm. Well, Juliet said;

[It's a RNE thing.] Juliet sends. [They might not breathe, but they still need something to be thinking with. Without the structure of the brain, it's just meat and not nearly as easy to manipulate. Which doesn't mean they can't do it.]

And we are in Cryo storage. And extreme cold does catastrophic things to the human body, especially the human body if it is already room temperature - which in here is below freezing. Their bodies should already be icing over as the water in them freezes solid, bursting cells and rupturing tissue - which means that it gets harder and harder to manipulate, even apart from the "frozen solid" thing. And it'd be even harder for them if they were even colder.

Hmm. So if we were heading down that route, Juliana could poke her head in and locate the tanks of liquid nitrogen and their structural weak points which they can be punctured with (she's sneaky, and also has Matter 3 in case there needs to be liquid nitrogen). A demo charge and a mix of flashbangs and concussives should rupture them and stun the hostiles and then the team can Mark-and-Execute.

[1] Approved vocabulary guidelines would prefer if it was called the "Residual entropic noetic near-earth dimension." RENNED cannot be used for puns, however.

Julianna's infiltration style is a little more overt than that-it generally involves either impersonation or being a honeypot.

She can still stealth around because she's a Tyrant and all of them are crosstrained Sam Fisher tier commandos who happen to be combat cyborgs but her augs are specialized towards hiding her augmented nature and making people think she's just a regular person.

And not a highly trained Woman in Gray who specializes in psychological warfare, like how to make friends, influence people, and make it seem like it was all your fault when you betrayed your old friends.

So we could probably use what is essentially a mechanical "surprise anticipator" that Donald can keep active 24/7 (to avoid unpleasant surprises like last time he had a nice dinner with the team), and possibly aid us in preparing for it ahead of time.
Didn't someone already suggest something along those lines?

...Okay, found it:
Donald has a new very nice, very expensive watch. Most of the cost comes from the fact that it constantly monitors the real value of the one wearing it a few seconds into the future and, in the event someone's net worth is about to fall catastrophically (which is to say, they're about to be shot/killed), the watch reacts by [putting up a force field (Correspondence ban)]/[teleporting them and anyone wearing matching watches to a predesignated location (Correspondence movement)]/[making them move really, really fast so be sure they can retain their value (Time acceleration)]. A nice bit of insurance against snipers and hypervelocity missiles, standard for high-powered executives under threat of assassination.
Not exactly to specifications, but a Time-based "Warning: If you keep doing what you were going to do, you will die horribly" alert system seems like a good idea. I might try to think up a way to couch it in paradigm-acceptable Technocracy jargon, but I have absolutely no WoD experience aside from this quest, so feel free to preempt me.

EDIT: Okay, I think I've got it:

Donald has a new smartphone. Not only does it do everything his old one does, but it also has a built-in chronal hazard monitor, or as it is coloquially known, an Early Early Warning System (for when a regular early warning system just isn't enough.) This Device monitors the next 30 minutes of its user's future for danger, and alerts them to the danger's presence and its severity. Users who know what they're doing can also fine-tune the settings to get an idea of what the danger is, as well as scan further into the future (although this second option risks damaging the EEWS.)

Uses Time and possibly Correspondence, with Time something (presumably Donald has it) required to use the advanced features.

EDITx2: Also, I think Entropy might be required to actually detect "danger". Alternatively, you could use Life to detect injury, but Donald didn't actually get hurt in the Rogue Council attack, so that's not a very reliable indicator.

Algorithmic Modeling Hyper-Prediction Mobile version, or AM-PM system, "it's working for you all the time" (TM). While "Chronal" was considered for a an attempt for some sort of "CLOCK" acronym, Syndicate focus groups found it was too "Sons of Ether".

I like yours better.

EDIT: For reference, the gizmo in my suggestion was inspired by blatantly ripped off from this, thus the name.

No. Look, we only have three Device slots. So what we want to use them on are:

a) Things we cannot do instantly or easily ourselves, or which we want permanently on.
b) Things that will be useful and combat our main weaknesses and the vectors along which we will be attacked.

Donald's main weakness is that he's squishy - the biosuit gives him armour and gives Rose a focus with which to use Life to patch him up. Rose's main weakness is that she's Conditioned - the necklace acts as a buffer against commands that would violate the spirit of the Order of Reason and gives her some Mind countermeasures.

Stop throwing random effects that they have the Spheres for at the wall because they'd be cool. Think tactically. Given that they're probably going to be attacked by Mr Autopoliton Kittycat, what is their largest remaining vulnerability that we can mitigate with a perma-hanging or Vulgar effect?

I'm giving examples you ninny. Not making votes.

Oh, right. Voting.

Quick question for those that actually know their shit: how effective would the demo charge option actually be at getting rid of the insane murder ghost for good?

More importantly, is incinerating Jamelia's decoy a better or worse option than putting a bullet in its head after we've dealt with Choi? I know we were planning on replacing the decoy with a decoy of the decoy, but I don't know if that's what we're still going for or if it would be a better idea to just nuke the body and blame it on Choi.

[x] A sudden massive venting of all LOX and Liquid Nitrogen Coolant into Cryo followed by ALL THE DEMOPACKS and Concussion Grenades. Then confirm destruction of Jamelias body and enemies

I mean they have Forces and Matter 3 so hacking things for this should be childs play, unless they actually want to blow it all so they leave less traces.

Euthanos grimoire:
Mahana Pahiya: This grimoire takes the form of a large temple in the underworld. While it can be reached by the living, to take advantage of its lessons, the Euthanos must first die. Upon dying, they must make their way to the temple, requiring Wits+Survival 7d. Upon reaching the temple, they must interpret the mystic signifigance carvings on the walls, the architecture, and the statues, requiring Intelligence+Occult 9d. If the mage manages this, they are able to raise Mind and Spirit to 4. It also allows the mage to learn the Reincarnation rote. This rote requires Mind 4 and Spirit 4, and allows the caster to reincarnate themselves. Upon being reborn, the caster rolls their Willpower against difficulty 9, rolling again each year. Upon reaching 20 successes, the subject fully remembers their past life, and regains all their magical traits, abilities, and non-physical attributes. If the mage reaches 16 before succeeding, they will never regain their memory. The ST should generate a sheet for the reincarnated characters new life, and the physical attributes are the same as the body. If the reincarnated person has any traits that are higher than the Euthanos's traits, those are to be used instead. With Spirit and Mind 5, this rote can be used on others, though it is not allowed to be used on non-Euthanos.

The temple has been lost to the Maelstrom, and it is unknown if any Euthanos remain who know the rote, which can only be taught through the Mahana Pahiya. The Euthanos continue to search for it, with no success as of yet.

That's cool, but... by dying, they stop being mages, and thus lose access to their spheres.

Operative Juliet Baxter
Notable Augmentations:
Full-body conversion optimized for general combat use. Carbon nanotube musculature, primium skeletal members.
Spheres: Correspondence 2, Dimensional Science 3, Forces 2, Life 2, Matter 2, Mind 2
Skills: Applied Dimensional Science specialist, paraphysics expert. Broad expertise and flexible implant structure allows for her to play many roles in a lesser degree-considered the team "Number 2" to step into almost any role if the primary is rendered combat-ineffective.

Shouldn't Juliet Baxter be programming the demopacks dial-a-yield functionality to enable the transdimensional harmonic amplifier setting so that they also "inhibit" RNE formation by way of blowing any nascent RNE the fuck up? (aka using Di-Sci to make sure the explosion hurts ghosts too, not just their meatpuppets)

[x] Cyrofreeze those bastards, grab Jamelia's body, then blow them up with five-to-seven packs of explosive.
Also, I support the AM-PM system.

I don't see how importing Rose and Weiss would do us any good... :p

Hey, what spheres would fanfiction girl Hannah need to do this, if she hadn't been turned by the Technocracy? Just out of curiosity.

Spirit 3 or Life 5+equipment/enhancements Spheres should be sufficient to either import the characters from the crossover multiverse (read: the Umbra) or create entirely new instances of them from scratch.

The latter requires a lot of preptime to pull off to make sure you're 'in tune' with the character enough to write them believably. The former gives you no control beyond what existing narrative influence you have, so there may be, ah, "unanticipated character development". Like it turning out they agree with your enemies instead. Or multiversal copyright violations if their appearance isn't covered under Fair Use.
