In the Mind of a Green Sun Prince (Exalted/Nasuverse)

[X] "So what do you intend to do now, Kiritsugu? Go after your daughter? Or perhaps check up on the boy from before? Or something else? I might normally make a suggestion, but I confess that I remain somewhat ignorant of your overall situation."

We need to make him remember to pick up Shirou at the hospital or Kirei will pick him up, and shirou will become a mana battery for gilgamesh.

Or worse, he might end up like the Shirou in Birth By Fire, who's future counterpart ended up an Avenger class hero instead (or maybe in addition to) a counter-guardian.

[x]Adorjan would call attachments futile. She would call this a blessing. With some training, you could use her techniques to make this pain go away. You don't want that though, do you? You seem more like one of Kimbery's or the Principle of Hierarchy's persuasion actually. A planner and somebody good at it. When you're ready, I'm available to aid in your plans to rescue your daughter.

I want to save him, before that happens, and if it is possible the others orphans as well, because what happens to them is too horrible and we need to stop it.

I'd also be concerned about piling more trauma on Kiritsugu if he ever finds out about what Kotomine did to those kids. That sort of thing is never pleasant, but for Exalts, well, suffice to say that Limit Breaks can lead to extremely problematic behavior.

Infernals don't limit break because of that.

@Walker of the Yellow Path
How close is Kiritsugu to becoming an Exalted style Sorcerer?
Does he still need to pass the Trial of Sacrifice, or does he just need to buy a Sorcery charm?

When I've done sorcerers with my group, the Trial of Sacrifice is the final part of the Training Time for buying the Sorcery Charm.

Since I don't like having a charm which does nothing but allow you to get other stuff, buying the your first Sorcery Initiation for that Circle of Sorcery also comes with one spell of that Circle, save for Solar Primordial Circle Sorcery.

Torment is no better. Granted, I doubt that Walker of the Yellow Path will be using Torment, but I also doubt that it'll be pleasant.
Has anyone implemented any alternatives to default Torment? I'd like to see them if I can. I'm going to ignore the 'fucks over Intimacies as well' part of Torment (Though the image of a raging beserker but completely ineffectual Illya is cute.), but unless someone can find me a better alternative, Beserk Anger mind plague will affect Kiritsugu when his Limit hits ten.

Are we influencing Kiritsugu or are we watching a Let's Play here? Why not dangle a thread of Adorjan and see if he bites? Or develops an interest in farking Adorjan over leading to Yozi Kiritsugu eventually?

Here's something to consider:

I've seen various rewrites that can be summed up as Yozi-themed Limit Breaks, though most of them were posted on the old White Wolf forum. Fortunately, Conjured Blade has found a solution.

Why? You have a phone.

I will say this: Magecraft, Church Rites, and True Magic are all considered Sorcerous Effects, requiring varying Circles of countermagic dependant on their Caster's relative Enlightenment.
Emerald Counter Magic.

That's definitely what our first purchase of a Sorcery should be.

Will he gain access to any of his old Mysteries, when he gains Sorcery?
Maybe let him buy Projection, Alteration, and Reinforcement as Sorcery or Charms for a discount?

Casually referring to the Silent Wind by her name, and advising that anyone become more like her is hilariously OOC for just about any Demon, let alone an Angyalkae.

Primordials terrify First and Second Circles, Adorjan especially. I do not see Azzaria being at all comfortable with Kiritsugu learning Adorjani Charms, nor would she suggest he partake of her philosophy. Azzaria is a Citizen, that means she's very competent for a First Circle, part of that competence is how to read and predict others, and use them to her advantage. A Kiritsugu who starts removing attachments becomes very hard to predict, and very unsettling to watch (Silence is Death after all).

I mean, who's to say he couldn't learn how to fleanse away Azzaria?

Eh, I think he actually means learning Devil-Tiger charms, which iirc, pretty much kills Azzaria anyway, by the time you hit the end of the chain...

To get an idea of how much the first-circle demons fear Adorjan, the entire Demon City is filled with constant noise because that keeps Adorjan away most of the time. Bear in mind that the Demon City is layer upon layer of brass and basalt centered upon the Green Sun, with some layers being so huge that they have plazas the size of Earth's continents.

Of course, the constant noise can't actually keep Adorjan away if she really cared, but that's just one of the many, many unfair things about the Demon City.

Adjusted then.

[x]I think I'm beginning to understand why the Silent Wind chose you. She may have seen you as a candidate for her concept of enlightenment. You would not hurt anymore, but though she chose you you are not one of hers, and that is a good thing. All the music of Malfeas is played out of fear of her, to keep her away. You seem more like one of the Sea that Marched against the Flame or the Principle of Hierarchy's persuasion actually. A planner and somebody good at it. I would be very impressed if you guys got Kiritsugu to a point where he would actually consider that.
Hey, it's not a big leap at all.

Remove Attachment -> Azzaria is always present -> Azzaria is an attachment -> Remove Azzaria.

This is totally something an Infernal could and would do. It's also very much something a First Circle who pulled herself up to Citizenship against all odds would consider, since in the Demon City everything is out to get you.

Also Adorjan is terrifying, which skews things even more.
