Not super knowledgeable on Exalted lore, but could Kirigitsu potentially make his way to the shadowlands/underworld in our current setting?

Well, to the best knowledge of the mages, barring stuff from the Age of the Gods, there is no afterlife. People die, their souls return to the Root/Akasha, and eventually reincarnate.if the underworld still exists in this setting, and I remember correctly, its as easy as going to a graveyard at night and spending some essence.
Good Question. Is Type-Moon Gaia and Primordial Gaia the same thing, or connected in some way?
Heh.
Whats so bad about the Shirou from birth by fire? I haven't read it.Or worse, he might end up like the Shirou in Birth By Fire, who's future counterpart ended up an Avenger class hero instead (or maybe in addition to) a counter-guardian.
[X] "So what do you intend to do now, Kiritsugu? Go after your daughter? Or perhaps check up on the boy from before? Or something else? I might normally make a suggestion, but I confess that I remain somewhat ignorant of your overall situation."

Unfortunately, before he could reach the last step of
his grand master plan, a tingling sensation formed on the back of his skull. A
Servant was near.
Ah well, I'll take care of it later, he thought to himself, materializing his
body in preparation. Now, he'd get to have his first fight in ages. He had to
tell Rin first of course, but there should be a better way than just sending her
a message. What if… yes, what better way to do so than to launch a first
strike so impressive that it could be seen for blocks? But what should it be?
Knock a building down on top of them? Just blow the whole area up? Strap
countless explosives to a person, light them on fire, and turn them into a
massive screaming grenade? That last one could be tricky. He'd have to find
someone small enough-
"Excuse me, mister." Avenger was snapped out of his thoughts by a small voice
and a tugging on his cloak. He looked down to find a small boy wearing second
hand clothes, a baseball cap and a bulging backpack looking up at him. He
flinched back a bit when he saw Avenger's eyes, but he still said "I-I'm kinda
lost. Do you know where the bus stop is?"
Behind his mask, Avenger grinned.
... (couple paragraphs later)
"…aaaaaaaaaAAAAAAAAAH!"
Before anyone could react, Avenger fell from what Rin could only assume was the
adjacent roof and landed hard in a three point landing in the alleyway. This
wouldn't be too odd if not for the screaming 6 year old boy that was currently
riding his shoulders and had a death on the Servant's head.
When the kid finally stopped screaming his lungs out and started gasping for
air, Avenger stood and said "And that is what we call parkour!"
The rest of the occupants of the alley were rendered speechless by this
bewildering development save for Mika. "Masomi! I've been looking everywhere for
you! Are you alright?"
The boy took a few more deep breaths before a massive grin formed on his face,
and he threw up his arms and said "I wanna go again I wanna go again!"
The little girl scowled at this. "No! We're not supposed to be out this late!
We're going back home!"
"No! I don't wanna go back!" The boy protested. "I hate it there! All the
grownups are stupid and all the other kids are jerks!" He wrapped his arms
around Avenger's head again. "I'm stickin' with Igni-chan from now on! We're
gonna go wherever we want, and no one's gonna tell us what to do!"
"Yeah, what he said!" Avenger yelled in agreement, joining in on the
childishness for some reason. "We don't need no home! We're going hit the road
and see what happens! Who cares that Masomi will probably die horribly at some
point!"
"Yeah, I- wait what?" The boy said.
Avenger continued. "I mean, he could starve to death, be hit by a bus, die of an
easily treatable infection, eaten by a wild animal, and let's not forget child
predators! But those are a small price to pay for freedom!"
"B-but you'd keep me safe, right?" The boy said, now much less sure of himself.
"Nah, I'm not really the protecting type." The white haired man said with a
wave. "Don't worry though. I'll totally give you a knife in case anything tries
to mess you up. Remember, what doesn't kill you makes you stronger! Or cripples
you horribly both physically and mentally for the rest of your life. One of the
two, really."
The boy's face drained of blood at this, and after a moment's pause he said in a
small voice "…I wanna go home now."
We need to make him remember to pick up Shirou at the hospital or Kirei will pick him up, and shirou will become a mana battery for gilgamesh.
When I've done sorcerers with my group, the Trial of Sacrifice is the final part of the Training Time for buying the Sorcery Charm.
Since I don't like having a charm which does nothing but allow you to get other stuff, buying the your first Sorcery Initiation for that Circle of Sorcery also comes with one spell of that Circle, save forSolarPrimordial Circle Sorcery.
Has anyone implemented any alternatives to default Torment? I'd like to see them if I can. I'm going to ignore the 'fucks over Intimacies as well' part of Torment (Though the image of a raging beserker but completely ineffectual Illya is cute.), but unless someone can find me a better alternative, Beserk Anger mind plague will affect Kiritsugu when his Limit hits ten.
Eh, I think he actually means learning Devil-Tiger charms, which iirc, pretty much kills Azzaria anyway, by the time you hit the end of the chain...

Fuck the stupid short Lifespans. Infernals live as long as Solars do.Becoming Devil-Tiger does allow you to become an immortal (important since GSP have very short lifespans for exalts) titan, with an exaltation fueling a fully primordial. Basically becoming primordial 2.0. The concept is pretty cool, IMHO.
Kiritsugu hasn't noticed that his hair has a constant slight movement, as if in an unseen breeze.Btw, @Walker of the Yellow Path. Did Kiritsugu gain any features from becoming a GSP? I believe minor physical aspects of the demon should manifest. Did you ignore that, or has Kiritsugu just not noticed (which would be possible if he has say prehensile hair)?
Oh, neat. Less of a worry then.Fuck the stupid short Lifespans. Infernals live as long as Solars do.
You expected this quest to last for more than a century?
Time skips could be a thing. I don't know.
