Martial: One of the urges within you tells you that the easiest way to expend power is to create minions, subordinates or whatever they call themselves. According to what you've seen in your brother's cartoons, you'll need an army of monsters because a dark general without an army is just some dude. You'll keep things small at first since you don't really have much space at home that your family won't stumble upon by accident. Time for some experimental minion making! (Choose 1)
[X] Creating From Nothing: You can draw out your power from your body and shape it. In some games, that's enough to make minions. See if you can make something that can think and follow your orders out of pure energy. Cost: 10 EP. Chance of Success: 80%. Reward: Create Minion Spell. Weak stupid Minions.
Roll: 11
The power within you is unlike anything that you've ever seen or felt before. It whispers things to you if you concentrate. It wishes to be used, to be given form, to have purpose – all for the sake of the Ebon Emperor. Your thoughts and desires mould it like an artist shaping a lump of clay into an artwork.
You think hard about what you want but honestly, your thoughts are kind of all over the place. Despite this, however, you feel something snap into place within you. At that very moment, you release your power and watch as it twists and reshapes itself into a tangible form.
Unfortunately, the results are not what you were expecting.
"Bobobo~" Instead of something that can do minion stuff like move furniture and carry equipment or used as a meat shield, you end up with what appears to be a black baby slime thing with glowing yellow eyes, small body and big head. Despite its cute appearance, it is completely useless for what you wanted.
You attempt to try and make more of the slime thing bit nothing happens, not even your power responds. Seems like what had happened was a complete fluke. Looks like you gonna have to start from scratch and try something else.
You watch as the adorable thing moves around the room through no visible mean of locomotion, looking at everything with big curious eyes.
At least you got a neat pet out of it, you guess.
Reward: 1 Baby Slime Pet.
Stewardship: Right now, you're living with your parents and siblings. You've never heard of an evil overlord that lived with their parents and operated out from a nice family home. You're going to have to change that. (Choose 1)
[X] Base of Operations: You know that the power within you will continue to grow. That means that soon you won't be able to hide your experiments in the privacy of your room. You need to find a place that offers both space and privacy to not only test your power but also to start up a base. Cost: $100. Chance of Success: 100%. Reward: A place to act as your base for the time being.
Roll: 90
It is by chance that you find it. While looking around, you'd gone into an alleyway to avoid a large group of people, only to find an old caravan in an empty lot. After some asking around, you found out that the owner of the caravan and the lot had died some time ago and the landlord hadn't figured out what to do with the lot.
After some…convincing, you were able to rent the caravan and the lot for a hundred dollars a week. That by itself was alright since it meant that you now had a private place to experiment and keep your results in. You couldn't keep a slime in your room forever, especially a curious one like the one you created.
However, once you'd gotten the keys, you noticed a hatch hidden amongst the grass. It was well hidden and you doubt you would have found it without being enhanced by your powers. It takes some finagling but you manage to get it open. You're disappointed at first to find a bunch of old tools and some other worthless junk but after removing them, you're excited to find stairs leading down into what is essentially an underground basement.
Better yet, a bit of exploring finds that the place still has water and electricity. It even has some furniture in here as well, albeit with a thick layer of dust on everything.
If anyone once lived here, they are long gone.
For a hundred dollars, you've found the perfect place to set up operations as an Evil Overlord or supervillain. Now if only you can get Wi-Fi down here then everything would be absolutely perfect.
Reward: A lot and caravan with a secret underground dungeon with free utilities to act as your secret base. No more experiments at home.
Diplomacy: You don't really know who'd you talk to about this kind of stuff. You'd believe that you're now an evil overlord. Plus, even if they do believe, what if they're really on the side of good and leading you into a trap. (Locked)
Intrigue: You need information and you can't just go to the local library and look it up. You need stuff on magic, the forces of evil and good, the stuff that really relevant to your life now. Your power has given you some idea on how to proceed with this information gathering. (Choose 1)
[X] Phantom Seekers: It might be possible to create some kind of…ghost thing to go looks around for those with magic or other exotic energies (That's a thing apparently and fairly common according to the knowledge shoved into your head). Hopefully, you can find someone or something that can help you figure out this overlord with might and magic stuff. Cost: 150 EP. Chance of Success: 80%. Reward: 3 Spy Unit – Phantom Seekers. Find supernatural groups.
Roll: 24
You decided that you needed spies, invisible sentries that would seek out and find anyone that could be a threat to you. After you failed attempt at making a minion out of nothing, you try this time to make minions out of spirits. You wanted to use ghosts but they were a rare sight and you wanted to be able to make more of these spying phantoms.
It takes some doing but you manage something that somewhat resembles what you were going for. It looks like a translucent thing made out of smoke. Like a ghost, it can move through walls, become invisible somehow, ping you on some mysterious magical wavelength that you can sense when they are in proximity of high concentration of magic, and most importantly, you transfer your sense to them. Oh, and they follow mental commands.
You let they roam the block and after a couple of days, one of them pings you. Connecting your sight to that one reveals to you that the owner of a nearby antique shop is practically overflowing with magic. However, when the Phantom Seeker attempts to follow the old man into the shop, it collides with some magical barrier and promptly explodes. Ouch.
Reward: 2 Phantom Seekers. One lost due to contact with a magical barrier. Magical Antique Shop Found.
Learning: You have been infused with energy not of this world which you're calling Ebon Power for now. It's different to anything that you've ever seen. Time for some science! (Choose 1)
[X] Ebon Power and Science!: Through the methods of rationality, you shall seek out and uncover the true nature of your powers and see how the laws of physics work with them. Magic is but a different sort of science though you get the feeling that what's in you is not quite the same. Time to test things! Cost: 50 EP. Chance of Success: 50%. Rewards: Learn more about your Powers.
Roll: 88
After conducting a bevvy of various experiments, you are able to confirm several things about Ebon Power.
1. Ebon Power exists outside mundane scientific means of detection beyond human sight. You can detect it quite easily thanks to your newly acquired magical senses. Normal means, however, are useless for detecting the stuff so you can't really accurately record what Ebon Power does exactly.
2. It can mimic the properties of any substance with sustained concentration. It transforms completely into that substance if once a certain amount of time has passed. Ten units of Ebon Power can be transformed into approximately one hundred gram of any substance. You haven't quite figured out what the pattern in the time it takes for Ebon Power to transmute into another substance just yet. However, it's been noted that transmutation is faster when Ebon Power's current state of matter matches the desired substance's state of matter.
3. Ebon Power changes its state of matter upon mental commands. So far, you've managed to make it manifest and change into a liquid, a solid and a gas. You haven't tried plasma for fear of accidentally setting everything on fire. As a liquid, Ebon Power becomes something akin to viscous black oil that doesn't mix with other liquids. As a solid, it takes on the appearance of a black crystal that emanates a soft bluish glow. As a gas, it looks dark blue and is unaffected by gravity, simply hovering in place unless moved by an outside force such as a breeze.
4. Ebon Power if left alone and unaltered starts doing weird stuff to its surroundings. Colour tones become darker. Edges and points become sharper. Dangerous properties become slightly more dangerous. Strange eldritch patterns start appearing on shit. This phenomenon affects only non-living material. Living substance such as plants and insects are unaffected.
5. Ebon Power can be made lethal. In attempting to see if Ebon Power is capable of affecting living things, you discover that if you infuse it with what can be called 'Killing Intent', Ebon Power causes harm and kills off living things.
All in all, you've only really understood one thing about the power of the Ebon Emperor. It's fucking bullshit. It does, however, give you some ideas on how to utilise it.
Reward: Learn some stuff about the nature of Ebon Power. Also learnt that Ebon Power is bullshit. Various options have been unlocked.
Piety: Magic is real, actually real. The stories about witches and wizards in myths have a grain of truth to them. The world is full of nature spirits, ghosts, and other mysterious forces. You yourself is a conduit of power born from a being of god-like power. You must learn to harness this power or face the consequences. (Choose 1)
[X] Magical Enchantment: You can infuse objects with Ebon Power. See if you can change the object to make them better or be able to do stuff. Enchantment and that kind of crap. Cost: 100 EP. Chance of Success: 100%. Rewards: Learn how to enchant objects.
Roll: 99
If you think about Ebon Power as something magical, you get much less of a headache than you do when trying to fit it into a scientific mindset. You're also quite sure that Ebon Power isn't actually magic but simply mimics it in an instant. You haven't got enough real magic stuff to confirm that yet but it is a sound hypothesis.
What you do know is that when you tried to enchant an object, you enchanted it. Just like that. All you had to do was think real hard about what kind of enchantment you wanted on the object, stuff it full of Ebon Power and it would be applied just like that. More complex and more potent enchantments needed more Ebon Power while simple temporary ones were quick and cost virtually nothing to create.
You could even freely alter how the enchantment would look like. You could make it so that symbols that looked like runes would appear engraved into the object's surface. You could make it so that the enchantment also made the object glow. You could even change the appearance of an enchanted object in a way that was appropriate for said enchantment.
And all it cost was a chunk of your Ebon Power.
You are very certain that enchanting stuff should be nowhere as easy as this.
Reward: You discover that either you're an absolute genius at enchanting stuff or Ebon Power is extremely useful for enchanting stuff. You now have a box full of magical knick-knacks.
Personal: You have quite a bit of free time with school closed for the week. Might as well catch up on your video game backlog. (Choose 1)
[X] Meditate: You've noticed that despite being imbued with immense powers of darkness or Ebon or whatever, you're surprisingly calm about the whole thing. Something's up and you feel that looking deep within yourself will provide some answers. Cost: 0. Chance of Success: 90% Reward: 60 or greater, Lose Hidden Trait. Remember meeting with Ebon Emperor. Understand what you have become even at the cost of your peace of mind.
Roll: 99
You'd meditated before, back when you were still part of a Martial Arts Dojo. It helped you calm down after a stressful day of school and training and it did wonders for your once uncontrollable temper. Now, you hope that some meditation will help ease this sense of unease that you're feeling.
Emptying your mind is harder than it was before since you're still thinking so much about what Ebon Power could do and the possibilities it presented. Eventually, you slowly direct your thoughts towards your actions and everything you've done since awakening to your power.
You haven't been questioning why you got this power. You haven't been thinking about the consequences of becoming an evil overlord. You never even thought of not becoming an evil overlord. It just seemed like the right thing to do when you decided that you were now the Ebon Lord and thus the chosen Dark General of the Ebon Emperor.
You understand now that you weren't given completely free reign over your actions. Every action you've taken has been directed towards gaining power and setting up the foundation of the New Black Kingdom.
Memories well up from the abyss of your mind and you remember.
The broken face of the Black King and its last words to you.
As sudden as it came, your memories of your master's face disappears but their last words before they fell back into dormancy remained.
Forge a new Black Kingdom.
Rebuild the Black Army.
...
Save me.
Those were the last words of the Ebon Emperor. They were not a command. They were not a request. They were not a negotiation. They were not a directive.
They were a plea
You understand now.
The Ebon Emperor will not awaken to command you.
You haven't been given power in order to take over the world.
You haven't been given power in order to crush the forces of light.
You've been given power in order to save the Ebon Emperor.
And when someone asks you for help with the last of their strength...
You're gonna give it to them.
…
Reward:
[Hidden Trait: Herald of the Ebon Emperor] Lost.
[Trait: Saviour of the Ebon] Gained.
[Trait: Driven] Gained.
[Primary Objective Gained: Save the Ebon Emperor.]

EVOLVE IT!!! EVOLVE IT!!! DIGI EVOLVE IT!!!!!!(I know we probably can't but...let the fanboy in me dream , tough taking into account we have probably based him from Digimon IC...THE POSSIBILITY LIVES!!!)
Although it does paint an interesting picture. It seems like Jacob is far better at figuring and building on existing stuff, rather than creating them from scratch, which is a trait that most engineers have. And it just so happens that we chose engineer as a trait for him.
