My man if we somehow have the time to create this, i see at least half of the entire Mechanicum just joining us for being able to do the glorious job of research and exploring new techs, heck i can even see some part of the Dark Mechanicus just breaking from the chaos gods because in the warp zone of fuck nowhere planet, they are seeing the light of the Omnissiah, them after that we just need to resist a attack from a pissed zealous Imperium and the hordes and hordes of daemons armadas that will launch against us, easy stuff.

We may or may not be the flashpoint of a civil war afterward too but that is low on the important news.
My man. What you are describing would require this Song to be powered by an equivalent of the Astronomicon. That is not what I suggested.
What I am suggesting is a Star Mechanicum version of wolololo, powered by a Choir, limited in scale to at most a single planet (more realistically, a continent), and limited in potency to swaying those who are silently on the fence to our side.
 
Huh. Is it just me or is Sub-sector Macabre consolidating? Didn't a few of the planets use to be divided last turn? Wasn't every world divided?

That's what I was thinking. The planets up top seem to be unifying. I'm not sure if it's only each planet being unified or if it's a multi system polity but somethings happening. I really don't want the Space Balkins to turn into Space Yugoslavia, if only because I don't want to have to fight a second Neon.

Here's my plan. Do inventory, take apart the Imperial Ships we have to see what makes them tick, and a bit of reorganization to maximize the effective coverage of our Andromedas and start introducing the light of the Star-Child to everyone else in the subsector.
 
A trait that had never once fired in any visible fashion? That one? And was never once described as "Take advantage of the fact you have allies to stick the knife in?" You mentioned we had defectors... That were going to be evacuated one way or the other. But the choice we got said nothing about us having defectors mattered. It was entirely phrased as "Now that we've won, we turn on them because Liberators."

Again, it might have come off as a no brainer to you, but that's because we don't have access to the backstage stuff that you do, and so we made an unforced error because of that misalignment. It happens. I'm just upset that I misread things so badly, but it's hardly out of malice in this case, just that I made an awful decision based on the information I had access to, and that misalignment wasn't noticed in time to flip anything.

Tbh Alecti, my read of the situation is that it was a no brainer to MOST PEOPLE, but then the idiot ball got rolling, plans were made on false assumptions and someone made up a whole ass other term to the "deal" we made. Basically, you're reaping the rewards of what happens when people with stunningly low reading comprehension make honest mistakes that never get cleared up before said mistakes gain momentum and get acted on as facts.

Ironically, I was so confused by the votes and discussions for that turn I had assumed my skimming ment that I missed something, and as a result didn't interact much with the vote at all lol. It's kinda nice to see I didn't miss anything that was actually in the update.

I think, The Mechanicus is completely idiotic, in concentrating against us, because there is a Chaos infestation happening. I didn´t vote, because I was away, but the vote was confusing, didn´t noticed, we had that trait.

I hope, we never had to deal with unknown traits, we don´t know in the future.

I'm a bit confused by all the anger over the results.

The imperium planet we left alone to go focus on chaos did some imperium things, and now is like. A minor inconvenience at best.

What the fuck did you think was gonna happen, this fully imperium world was just gonna surrender because lmao they fought chaos before us.

I admit I forgot to vote but I didn't have expectations of the imperium world doing anything but this, I would have voted for the current result just to fuck chaos

The mechanicus is isolated

Either they improve productivity through innovation in order to catch up with us (esentially becoming hereteks in all but name)

Wich would make them a great asset in the future

Or they keep trying to squeeze productivity by throwing menials at the issue while having no easy access to food or minerals

Leading to a stagnate industry and economy that only increases on a linear manner compared to our exponential growth

At witch point we can crush them with relative ease

Or they get chaosed at wich point we also crush them

I won't say much cause the threadmark saying to not argue but I will say this entire result cooled me significantly on this quest since it makes me feel the mask fell off a bit and not in a good way.

Anyways I wonder if we can develop a song that's basically "hey menial slaves and even you lobotomized servitors we're cool guys who will treat you right so come to our side in mass!" cause it would be funny to just easily disarm those suicide ships cause they're all piloted by 'expendables'. Just awaken the soul in servitors enough for them to be able to make an actual choice of who they wish to help the slavers or the liberators

---[X] Also standing order on this, while we're not starting a war to conquer Forge, new standing order: we cut off Node 17c and/or liberate it (or at least cut it off, let the situation be decided on the ground), Raid/destroy their Void Industry, and destroy all their stupid Suicide Ships once we're done with the rest of this. These are decade long turns and we have Andromedas (and are making more), there will be time to pencil it in. This is not yet a drive for conquest or liberation so much as keeping them from being annoying. Also obviously don't try to do everything at once for this or the above, duh.

Vote, for fucking both the Forge and those Macabre jerks! For getting the Andromedas we apparently need! For starting the Inventory so it can auto-complete in the background...

I like this it ideally absorbs the rest of the Amratur region and lets us start dealing with some backlog then ideally next turn we can pick ship automation so we can start slowly filling our fleets automatically. And if not that perhaps modernize some of our ships to there most modern variant.

Ship Automation is cool, but honestly if we get a period of (comparative) peace, we should do the Academic thing first, because it makes it so that every Research Action procs faster towards the bonus-action/etc.
