I'm tempted to first look at what orders Robert Watts, catspaw and Insurgent Extraordinaire, specifically violated. The details of how we deal with him might be effected by the details of how he broke faith with ONI.

No fucking wonder the Insurrection kept getting uglier, with Watts seeing and exploiting this sort of corruption personally. It was always going to be bad but, yeah, ONI's existence as Master of Puppets and his knowledge of it would have justified any degree of collateral damage to be rid of it. Hell, Watts might have started as a purely ONI plant and just gone native.

I'm pretty sure there is nothing remotely resembling a peaceful solution here but, you know, I'd kind of like to dial the man's private comm.

He was the one who nuked the place during the inssurection in the first place here...

Knowing ONI is behind the scenes, and knowing ONI for what it is, is the sort of thing that would make me legitimately think about outright Colony Dropping Earth. When you are dealing with the shape of mankind as it proliferates... a dystopia without end being on the table... you do what you goddamn have to do. Thankfully we pulled a comparatively bloodless coup ourselves and our own vision for humanity is less Orwellian (if perhaps unappealing to traditionalists) so none of that is necessary, but the existing system really needed to die.

If we were a little faster we could have at the very least put a chip in his head and ridden him like a Goa'uld. Ah, well. We'll clean up the old fashioned way.

Hey now, lets not start Operation British yet... we don't need to blow up earth yet.

THankfully, Halsey is many things... Orwellian police states get in the way of science and mankind's greater destiny...

So she's going to do away with such... brutish institutions and plans. There is science to be done.

Well, the issue with the ONI is, at least for the immediate future, solved, it may come up again in though...

All I shall say is this... Maybe the Elites get to Harvest in time...

Maybe they don't.

Maybe they are mistaken for the covenant and they get blown to hell because poor communication kills...

But only I know what is to come... and it will be glorious.

I don't care about the rest all that much but this would make things hard, both for the rebels and us with potentially very long term loathing from the Rebel Elites.

Do the Rebels have a place they can use to regroup, recruit more forces and resupply or such by the way? Any space stations, Planets or such on rebel side Or are they just racing against time and will burn out their supplies real fast?

... now that would be telling.

meh... they are in a... semi decent place. But not good enough to win without human help.
