Operation Jeweled Viper 1: Earth
December 13th 2524, Earth Time: 0923
You sighed as the shuttle rocked through the atmosphere. It was bumpy and you were not enjoying the trip down to Australia.
Light for his part was reading some of the files you had for your mission. "You know, you can try to read this more in detail?" He stated as he turned a page, completely ignoring the turbulence of atmospheric reentry.
"After I've completely gotten ready for the last day?" You asked as you smiled. "You must think I'm not trying?"
"I'm not… quite the opposite in fact. You are not taking this seriously, and that may kill us."" Light grunted. "I'm not in the mood to die again, not until you are ready to leave as well."
Sigma for his part, merely appeared on the holodisk and crossed his arms. "You know, when I first learned of your existence Light, I didn't think for you to act like an angry parent when we started on our first mission." He stated.
"I'm worried that he does not take any of this seriously, and I do not want him to die or get captured by his own laziness and stupidity." He replied.
"You were the one who wanted me to stay in cryo until literally the last moment to save me, and in your words might I add. 'A prosperous youth.'" You shot back.
Light frowned. "Yes… and need I remind you what that youth brought you?"
You smiled. Friends, family, an AI companion, Light himself, and a shit load of science.
You still hadn't fully gotten the reports from MJOLNIR about what you accomplished…
But you were pretty sure it was jumping the Tech Tree as Light called it.
"Far more trouble than it was worth." You replied with a smile.
Light scoffed, shaking his hand before he looked back to the files. "You know, maybe you should try a more… practical approach, than what you wished?" He stated.
"You think mind raping an entire building isn't practical?" You asked.
"I said Practical, not something that reveals your greatest trump card just because you think it is cool." He replied. "What if it fails, or worse, doesn't work?"
"You think I can't act like a spy? Don't you?" You said with a grin.
"You are a white-haired, blue-eyed, two and three fourth meter tall super-soldier with Psychic powers, and a skeletal structure that is unbreakable, a circulatory system that has doubled the size of your heart just to keep you standing, an average walking speed of twelve kilomiters per hour, a genius without compare, and you think I have trouble thinking you can blend in with mortals like a normal person." Light replied.
"But it's your genius." You stated.
"Don't play to my ego, you know it won't work." Light replied.
Sigma then spoke up. "Personally, I think you both have good ideas… but we really need to get ready so we can actually… you know… Get through this. I personally don't give a shit what you do, as long as you plug me so I can steal their files."
Good point.
How are you going to do this:
[]The Perfect Soldier: You are going to walk in, dominate the room with your precense, make up a bullshit cover story, and than just… well walk in.
[]The Science Experiment: You are going to act as one of ONI's experiments… considering the Albino hair…. You could get away with it.
[]The Taunting Spartan: You want what enemies you have in ONI to squirm as you walk right the fuck and ruin their toys. And their reputations… and well everything.
[]The Deal with the Devil: Well… you do want to meet the good Admiral… might as well make it official.
[]The Blackhat: Why go into the building... when that Internet Cafe has free Coffee, computers, and... a connection to talk to the other Spartans.
[]The Space Wizard: You really want to see the extent of your powers… so you might as well cut loose.
AN: Enjoy.
